The staff here are professional, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. My boy, Dino, is 12 years old and suffers from allergies, amongst other conditions. Prior to relocating to Eugene, Dino was a patient of a cat specialist in SoCal (who was also wonderful). In Eugene, we originally were seeing another veterinarian in town, but I felt he needed better care from a clinic that focused specifically on feline care. While it did take a few weeks to book an appointment, the wait was beyond worth it. Dr. Patricia Shea spent a considerable amount of time asking me a variety of in-depth questions about my cats history, behaviors, and diet. This was perhaps one of the most in-depth and detailed vet consultations, diagnosis, and treatment experiences I've ever had with any of my animals (I also fostered kittens and adult cats for 10 years as well as dogs). In addition, the staff and doctor are also humble and willing to refer you to a specialist if the treatments do not work.

Within 5 days, our treatment plan (thus far) seems to be improving his symptoms. I am so grateful for finding this place in town. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Best veterinarian experience we've ever had! My kitty hasn't always appreciated a vet visit but they were so caring, kind, and professional that it was a Very positive & pleasurable experience. I highly recommend them & so does my kitty! 😺💜

I have been taking my cat, Lily, here for a few years now. I have always loved the staff and the vet when they’ve seen her. Recently, I got a new kitten, and they’ve been nothing but accommodating to him. I ask them all kinds of questions about my babies and they answer them and give advice. I love taking my cats here. I never feel anxiety leaving them with the staff because they are so sweet to them and show them nothing but love when I’ve been in the room with them as well. My cats are kind of crazy and can be a little difficult, however, they love the staff here because they are gentle with them and patient. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I am super picky about who I leave my babies with.

We brought our 15 year old Chartreuse to Cat Care last year who they determined he had stage 3 kidney failure. As he progressed they informed us that he was now stage 4 so we were well aware the end was getting near. We had to take him to the emergency vet to put him to sleep as he started crying and shaking a couple weeks ago. Cat Care sent us the most beautiful card after they found out our Smokey had to be put to sleep in an emergency clinic. We love those at Cat Care that took care of our best friend and if you have a cat you have to let them care for your loved one. They are very sincere people that honestly care for cats.

Dr. Patricia saw our cat when we knew he was not doing well and our own primary vet couldn’t get us in right away. This clinic squeezed us in the same afternoon and was able to catch that he did in fact have an emergency that required immediate attention. After her exam, she even reached out to an emergency vet to see if they could get us in that evening and helped us make arrangements to make sure he got care ASAP. So thankful for them taking some time out for us and even calling the next day to make sure he was okay. We appreciate you all!

My cat and I came here for the first time this week and had such a good experience! I’m always nervous going into any vet or medical professional setting because I’ve had so many rude and embarrassing experiences in the past, but staff were so friendly and helpful, they’re very knowledgeable and caring towards my kitty. I also appreciate they prioritize wanting to get you into an appointment ASAP even though so many vets are backed up especially after COVID. I’m glad we finally found a reliable, caring vet here in Eugene!

The staff at Cat Care are more than outstanding. They are knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, kind and will support you through even the most difficult times. A very special thank you to Dr. Maddox for his dedication to my kitty. The front staff is amazing, always happy to help and offer kind words of support. You will get THE BEST care for your kitty at Cat Care.

Friendly and fun staff that knows what they’re doing. We take our cat to see Dr. Maddox, and he’s the best. Super knowledgeable and has a gentle hand. He always listens to our concerns and makes us feel like we’re giving our cat the best treatment possible. I’m glad our cat’s health is in CatCare’s hands.

Everyone here is so knowledgeable and kind. My kitty is a bit of a trouble maker and can be difficult and they have been so supportive. Both the doctors and the other staff are very kind. Dana at the front desk specifically has been so helpful and good to us. The prices are very reasonable here as well. Big thank you for all that you do for me and Lucky !!

We have been taking our cat here for two years. The staff are professional, polite and foster a safe environment (which is great if your animal is scared/apprehensive about the visit). I have interacted with two doctors at the office, both of which are very knowledgeable, gentle and have been practicing in the Eugene area for multiple decades. Prices for treatment and products are reasonable and affordable (including for students on a budget). The staff is accommodating when scheduling appointments and we have experienced nothing but great service.

I had a great experience today with CatCare. My appointment was just a check up for a newly adopted cat, Iggy(they offer free checkups within a month of adoption! Yay, thank you!) Iggy came with a bunch of aggression warnings from the shelter. I hadn't seen any signs of aggression but wasn't sure how he'd do. The vet and tech were very calm and kind, despite knowing the possibility they'd be facing a monster. Iggy did surprisingly well and didn't try to eat anyone's face! They made sure stay calm and go slowly, even when he decided he was done sitting on the table. They didn't even eyeroll when I baby talked to Iggy (don't worry, I did enough eye rolling myself. Apparently I'm that kind of cat parent... Ugh...) I didn't feel like they were pushing anything or rushing at all. Definitely would recommend 😊 parking proved to be a tiny bit difficult, something I'll give myself an extra couple minutes next time. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Vet and staff are great. Between the right medication and labs my cat's seizures have practically disappeared. The vets are super easy to work with and don't judge you for letting your cat outside on a regular basis.

Prices are totally reasonable and going to this vet didn't freak my cat out. They were very gentle and my cat was calm enough to let them trim her claws with no problem.

Other folks have reccomended cat care to me and I will reccomend it to other people.

We see Dr. Shea for our sweet kitty Franklin. She and the team are always so professional, kind, and gentle with our squirmy boy. Franklin has IBD and each check up Dr. Shea makes sure to pay particular attention to any symptoms he may have. Absolutely recommend taking your cat here!!

Warm, caring, couldn't ask for more. Found health problems with my outdoor cat that a other vet two months ago had not noticed. Found that my cat's bladder infections were actually caused by decaying teeth. Talk to me about how he seems to be pretty compliant and that he probably would become a good indoor outdoor cat. No one ever encouraged me to do that. Sedated and shaved him. And never made me feel like a crummy cat owner.

They were all knowledgeable and very caring when it came to my cat Mia. The prices were competitive with every other place in Eugene. In the end, it’s nice to go to a place where your cat is comfortable, and where the people actually care about your cat. Would highly recommend for your feline companion.

I've gotten in same-day before when my cat was having problems and that should say everything. My geriatric kitty gets the best care here. They genuinely care about your pet and will help guide you through difficult decisions. They offer a lot of information and allow you to ask questions as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants specialized care for their kitty.
