Expert Transmission & Automotive

The guys did a great job on our 2017 Honda. Had a torque converter issue pop up and they gave us a couple different options to get us back on the road. Service was quick and our problem is fixed! Very professional staff.

Brought my Buick Enclave in on Wednesday morning at 8am and by 10am, they called me and told me what the problem was and had it done and ready for pickup by 3pm. PLUS their prices are BEYOND REASONABLE! This is the only place that I will take my vehicles from here on out. Thank you for everything & the excellent customer service!

I've taken a vehicle here for issues on two different occasions. They were able to get me in very quickly and fix the issue quickly. Very knowledgeable and friendly on the phone every time. The most important part of the experience is how honest they are. Would recommend

I was blown away from my first telephone call to them to the point when we picked up the car. This is how all businesses were ran forty years ago but unfortunately our world has turn into mostly inept ran businesses with people that don't give a shi##. Would recommend highly!!

This place has been my go to mechanic shop for about 3 years. They never let me down, as a mail carrier it’s inportant to have my car serviced in a quick manner. They never let me down and complet quality work with haste! Very reasonable in pricing and always willing to help, in whatever way possible. The battery in my car waited until the first rainy day for a couple of weeks to go to it's final resting place. I took it to Expert Transmission. They checked it and replaced it faster than I could sign the paperwork and pay for it. Everyone were friendly and helpful.

Customer Service!!! I am from out of town and called the Decatur shop at 3:00 on Good Friday with some issues on my 17 year old truck. Shawn answered and asked that I bring it in right away for him to do a ride along. He ran a diagnostic check, drove my truck, and sent me away with his recommendation. Unbelievable customer service! I have been doing my own automotive work for 25 years and trust all my transmission work to Expert Transmission. High quality and honest. They have done 2 for me so far, with no issues at all.

They swapped my motor out they did a great job on it they had a problem with it prolly the whole way thru it had a bad timing chain etc. So they let me kno as soon as they found out fixed it and didn't charge me they had another problem with the exhaust but they have spoken to me about it so this is why I am revising my review cause they have spoken to me about it and talked about a game plan and that is why I will continue to take my vehicle to Sam at expert. Thank you guys for everything I do want to apologize first and foremost thank you guys!

The guy that runs this place is like family (Shawn.)he got us right in and we were back on the road....thank you for always keeping us safe. Tie rods we're bad as were the front brakes. He even set us up to get our front end allined in hogland Indiana.
