Nice walking and biking paths through reclaimed wetlands in town with an abundance of wildlife. I recommend Booth Kelley Path.

We took the 2.2 mile walk from Jasper Trailhead to Downtown Springfield.
This is an easy walk with wide walking area. Ideal for walkers, runners, bikes, wheelchairs.
This walk is an interesting contrast of rural and urban landscape.
You will see:
*Mills and other business in operation
*Old log dumps
*Native plants and trees
*Remnants of railroad track out of service

Central. Easy access. Love the smell of fresh sawn wood. Riding past the active sawmill. River views are remarkable.

For cycling and walking this trailhead is a perfect link from downtown Springfield across town all the way to the Bob Straub parkway or Weyerhaeuser road which meanders down past Jasper and up Fall Creek. Best bit for the cycling community is that these routes are closed to motorized traffic.

Clean and well taken care of little park, with bathrooms and picnic tables. Also a trail head. With more then enough parking. Beautiful wildflowers in the spring and summer.

Wonderful path!!!I rode it on one of the most beautiful October days ever in history!!! One of the best projects ever done!! Now to convince the city to not allow the Hayden subdivision!!!!

Perfect spot to park for a run. We connected with the Doris Ranch path and worked in a nice 15 miles.
