The staff at Bush Animal Hospital has always been extremely welcoming. Devin Newman examined my cat and I found him to be very gentle and sweet with out cat (Bailey). He spent time chatting and explaining, which was very much appreciated.

Dr. Newman was personable, kind, and readily engaged with our puppy Chloe which was awesome!! I asked questions about her nutritional needs and ways to keep her healthy and vibrant as she ages. Dr. Newman offered great information about the important of maintaining a healthy weight, keeping her teeth clean, and caring for her paws through the summer months. My husband was so pleased with this outcome as he was unable to attend this first meet and greet appointment. We look forward to receiving care from Dr. Newman! Hi Friends! I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and have worked in both behavior and vet med for nearly 12 years. All of that is just to say- I know a phenomenal team when I see one, and this place is it. My little guy has always been cooperative for vet care, but he’s super sensitive and was terrified of our previous vet, trembling throughout the entirety of every visit, even with high-dose sedatives on board. I’m absolutely ecstatic to report that after only 2 “Happy Visits” followed by his first real appointment at Bush Animal Hospital, he LOVES going to the vet! Now he’s all wiggles and tail-wags as soon as we pull into the parking lot! He honestly has the time of his life in there, getting all kinds of special treats, snuggles, positive reinforcement, and thoughtful Fear-Free/Force-Free handling. I prioritize my dog, Merlin’s, emotional welfare above just about everything else, and I’m grateful beyond words for the impact this has made to his quality of life. A million thank you’s to the whole team at Bush Animal Hospital!❤ I can’t believe I get to say these words, but… We very much look forward to coming back😊

As always, our visit to Bush Animal Hospital was positive in every way. Dr. Devin Newman as well as all the support staff was friendly, efficient and caring in providing help with our beloved elderly dog. We have been clients for over 50 years - back to the days when Dale Bush owned the clinic and it is, and continues to be the only place we bring our pets for their veterinary care. They are the best! I could not recommend Bush Animal Hospital more highly!

We were looking for a new vet and took a chance on Bush Animal Hospital. They are amazing! Compared to our last vet, it’s way more reasonably priced and they are not pushy at all. Dr Newman took great care and time to learn about our 2 buddies (Boston Terrier & Rottweiler). I wish we would have found this vet clinic earlier. It was all super easy: from making the appointment online, initial reception/follow-up and the visit - i’d give them 10 stars.

I couldn’t recommend this place more. Especially Dr. Blystone! My cat was throwing up for a day and then refusing food. On the fourth day of not eating, I called our regular vet VCA Delta Oaks, and they refused to see her and told me to take her to an emergency vet. I called Bush Animal Hospital and they made me an appointment for the next day. I warned them my cat is a difficult patient, and they were unfazed. During our appointment Dr. Blystone didn’t up charge us and decided to first try anti nausea medicine with directions to come back on Monday if there was no improvement. Over the weekend our cat continued to throw up so we were concerned and took her to Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Springfield. After a brief examination through her crate they gave us a 6000 treatment plan that included every test possible and feeding tube. They scared us that she could have liver failure or cancer. Luckily she was stable and I declined the treatment and said I would wait till Monday to take her back to Bush. I called Monday as soon as they opened and we were schedule to come in a noon the same day. Dr. Blystone eased all of our concerns after the traumatic visit at the emergency vet. She sedated our cat, and diagnosed her with inflammatory bowel disease which is treated with a steroid injection and diet food. Instead of $6000, our visit was $370. We are now 24hrs post visit and our baby is back eating. We are so thankful!!

Bush has been amazing since I started bringing my beagle pup Beans there as soon as I got him in Jan 2023. So far they have been nothing but accommodating and helpful at every step with my boy. Including helping me through the neutering process which was a little tough for me. They had amazing follow through and I really got a sense they truly cared for my baby! Beans is doing great and it’s in big part to due Bush. Thank you

This was my very first visit to Bush Animal Hospital and my first vet appointment with my adopted cat. Finding a vet can be such a scary process but the staff at Bush Animal Hospital are so kind and knowledgeable. Misty at the front desk was super helpful with answering all my questions! Tyler the vet tech was so sweet and gentle with my Luna which was crazy because my cat is usually so skittish. And Dr. Beyerinck was super professional, experienced, and also so kind with my cat! Overall a great experience for this first time vet visit and I feel like I can trust them with my fur child!

I am always so impressed with Bush Animal. I’ve taken all three of my pets there and they are always so so so kind. I have one particularly shy dog and Dr. Wright and her assistant were incredibly sweet with her. In the 8 years I’ve had my dog I have never had a vet take the time to get to know her let alone say they LOVE my shy dog. My dog even was relaxed enough to eat treats and lay down…she’s never done that at any other vet. Bush Animal is the best ❤

We’ve taken our 2 cats here for visits and have been very impressed with everyone. Recently adopted a puppy and took her in to Bush Animal Hospital because of the great service. Once again, wonderful people and Dr’s, they truly do care and take the necessary time with the animal.

My cat and I had such a positive experience here. I took in a very friendly stray less than a week ago (whom I have virtually no information about) that seemed to have a sinus infection. They were able to get him in the same day I called. I was given a thorough explanation of how colds work in the kitty world and what nutritional supplements I could add to his food to help boost his immune system, as well as how to feed him properly in general. On top of this, I had mentioned I don’t have the money to get everything he needs done at once, so they printed out a breakdown of what he will need in the future and helped me prioritize what the most important things were that I could do that day. Thank you for being so kind and helpful!! We’ll be back to see you all again soon!

Dr. Wright at Bush Animal Hospital is incredible (all the staff is pretty wonderful)! They have been helping us deal with some big (to me at least) medical issues with our dog, Mattie, and they've been with us every step of the way. Dr. Wright in particular has been super supportive, caring, kind, gentle, understanding, and informative! I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Wright!

Took my 14 yo cat for her yearly checkup. Saw Dr Wright for the first time & was impressed. Kitty had some nail problems that they fixed & was given antibiotics. Good until next year! ❤❤

The staff at Bush Animal Hospital were amazing. They went out of their way to help me with a unique situation so that I could get my pet in to their clinic and I couldn’t be more grateful. Everyone was friendly and professional and very communicative. Would highly, highly recommend their services!

Super professional, very prompt & always on time . Front desk people Are excellent, technicians are excellent, vets are excellent! This is a super vet clinic.

The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable starting with reception. The vet got down on the floor and made our dog feel comfortable. I had a lot of questions and they were all answered thoughtfully.

Bush Animal hospital has cared for our many pets over the years. We have had incredible support and veterinarian care by Dr. Newman, Dr. Bererinck, Dr. Yeager and Dr. Blystone. They are compassionate and very skilled. We have had some difficult health issues at times with our dogs. We are very grateful for their expertise. The front desk staff and all the vet support staff are helpful and responsive. I highly recommend Bush Animal Hospital. So does Ruby!

We've taken our little 4 pound chihuahua, Roo, to Bush Animal Hospital for years. They are the absolute best. When we had to put her down after a series of heart issues they couldn't have been more compassionate or caring. Wonderful people!
