We're very grateful to be patients of AHA! Their communication is reliable and clear, the front desk staff is helpful and efficient and appointments consistently run on time. We've recently been especially grateful for the expertise and guidance of Dr. Tesh, who has helped us feel heard and clearly advised in unexpected medical issues that have surfaced with our recent rescue dog. We recommend AHA to anyone looking for caring, quality vet care.

Our family has been with Animal Associates for 30 years. Absolute trust with our animals. Docs and techs are knowledgeable and treat our pets like the family they are. I have sent many people to them over these years, with complete faith that I am sending them to great, caring professionals who also love their patients. Seriously wonderful.

Wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my pets! Doctors are kind and very knowledgeable. The staff is always responsive and helpful. I love that they devote the full appointment to getting to know you as well as your pet. I've never felt that they ever pushed any unnecessary services or products and that they provided the best care within my budget.

The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, and great with the animals.

Appointments are easy to obtain and you don't have to wait weeks for one.

We've been able to get same day appointments several times due to emergencies. Something happens to the one EVERY July like clockwork and then some.

They always call the day after an emergency to follow up, and then again the next week, and also send information by email.

I love this place . I love the staff . The vet Dr. Andrew Tech was so great . I mean the way he explained things and the care and effort he gave us was above and beyond what I have been searching for in a vet . Been to several vets and on my search for a fabulous vet for my little angel Jack . I think we found our forever vet finally . I was very impressed and the office was clean . Room was clean . I just want to thank Andrew and the team here for really being the best we have found in the Eugene area . Never felt more confident my dog was cared for like he should be until I met Andrew and the staff . Thank you. I hope Dr. Andrew Tech never leaves because I’d pick him over any vet I’ve ever been too hands down . Oh yeah and they cut my dogs nails the most perfect cuts I’ve ever seen . My dog never has got that good because he is so hyper . I’m just so happy with the service . It’s just a breathe of fresh air feeling to know they are on your dogs side all the way .

I’ve been bringing my dogs to AHA since I moved here almost five years ago.
Since moving, I also added a third dog to our family who is fear reactive to new people.
The staff at AHA are amazing in regards to how comfortable the make my reactive dog feel and are always so accommodating when I’m wanting to do happy visits with her during their lunch hours.
Dr. Fadden has been unbelievably helpful with all the health concerns my other pup has had over the years, including her anxiety & finding the right options for her.
I honestly would not trust anyone else to help me care for my three knuckleheads; I’m so grateful for everything that they do!

The staff here works very hard to provide the best possible care for my animals, and does so in a clearly underappreciated industry. Very professional and compassionate. Y'all rock!

I took my little Pomeranian, Sprocket, to Animal Health Associates for his first veterinary visit...and I was so AMAZED! From the moment we walked in the front door, we were treated like family. Each and every staff member was delightful, from the front desk to the CVT who checked us in, the assistant who provided restraint for Sprocket during his exam and last but certainly not least Dr. Andrew Tesh. Dr. Tesh immediately opened his arms for me to hand him Sprocket and started nuzzling into his neck, telling him what a good boy he was and how much he loved him. Remember, this is our FIRST visit! The staff was so kind, compassionate, and caring. And Dr. Tesh was very thorough, knowledgeable, caring...I could go on and on. I guess I'm writing such a long review because I just received such excellent service. I think we should be kinder to the ones who help look after our best friends. They really do care. The veterinary industry is a tough industry to be in, and Animal Health Associates is out there, leading by example on how to do it the right way. Thanks, guys. I see you. Each and every one. 🐾

Absolutely love this clinic! The staff are super friendly, efficient, and amazing at communicating and following-up! Exceptional service for sure. Dr. Nikki has taken care pretty much all of my fur babies. I love that she goes over her exam findings, thought process, and plan. She makes sure I have all my questions addressed. I know that my babies well taken care of when I bring them here.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, but especially if you have a nervous dog.
Our dog was a new patient, and needed a round of vaccinations. It took us three tries to get into an exam room, and each time entire staff was patient, understanding and encouraging (also we were only charged for the one visit.
Dr. Tesh did an amazing job with our anxious puppy, and went out of his way to make sure he got his shots without being scared.
PS: The screensavers in the exam room weirded us out

I have a wonderful little rescue dog who has a lot of health issues. Animal Health Associates has been AMAZING!!! I have been taking my girl there for the last two years and they have always been completely thorough, caring, and responsive in every way. They have given her the very best care. They remember her every time I call, they check in with me about her health after every visit, and really take time to work with me and my girl. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We brought our kitty to AHA yesterday to have her annual exam and 2 vaccinations. The vet was accompanied by 2 assistants, and all 3 were pleasant with us and gentle with the kitty. The vet seemed very knowledgeable and experienced, and she was attentive to our questions. We went took our previous two kitties to AHA over a period of many years and always felt that they were getting the best of care.

Everyone at AHA was so caring and attentive. They made me feel like they really cared about my pet. They were very transparent about costs of any treatments or tests they recommended and made sure I was comfortable with everything before proceeding. They also called to check in how my pet was doing with her medications and how she was feeling. I am so thankful for AHA when my pet was sick and in need, they are the best!

We just moved to Eugene and had a disappointing experience at the first vet clinic we chose in town with our two dogs. I decided to try Animal Health Associates for our animals annuals and vaccinations to start. Walking in, the staff was welcoming and wonderful. They have a separate waiting area for dogs and cats, which I appreciate so much. The techs were so great and welcoming. Dr. Nadia Stegeman saw my five year old cat and was warm as soon as she entered the room. I am a huge freak about how people handle my animals and they were so gentle and loving with her. She even took the time to show me exactly what she was evaluating so I understood her concerns. My cat warmed up to the staff immediately and they even spent a few minutes after her vaccinations chatting and loving on her. It felt extremely personal and I could tell they truly care for and love animals. I appreciated this visit so much. I do not give out five stars lightly. I look forward to future visits with our three animals.

Dr Schroeder is incredibly intelligent and exactly who I'd hope to entrust with my fur babies. The staff is super friendly and they seem to do a good job. There is a large waiting area with segregated sections for cats and dogs. My visit with the doctor had a vet tech holding and rubbing my dog the whole time to keep her calm and somebody else to take notes while they worked. The thing that stood out the most to me was that they seem to really care about the animals and they have a lot of collective experience. We've had a cat with crystals in his urine and another with anal gland issues. I was incredibly pleased with the care they received and the vet even did a follow up call. Highly recommend this vet!

I took our newly adopted dog there, and this was the first time I had visited. I've generally had good experiences with vet clinics, and AHA was no different. The front line staff were fantastic and friendly, if perhaps a little too friendly with the treats (but I understand why). The examination staff were also very thoughtful, informative, and efficient. I could feel how much they cared for animals, and our dog could taste it with all the treats she got! We couldn't have asked for a better clinic!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I appreciate the appointment reminders and personal follow up calls. Our usual vet didn't offer much in the way of a treatment plan for our dog's health issue. We decided to give Animal Health Associates a try since they offered acupuncture. Our dog responded amazingly well and is now pain free and off all the pain meds. We are always welcomed warmly not only by the front end staff, but also by the treating vet and her assistant. They really know how to treat customers, and their furry patients, with kindness, respect, and appreciation for the business. They are so happy to see my dog when we arrive I almost feel like he's a celebrity there. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are looking for an exceptional vet practice.

( Post from 5 years ago)I have been taking 1 cat there for well over 16 years (and 2 others pets also) and went from Dr Greer (he retired) to Dr Johnson. They have gone well over beyond and above when crisis occurred. They treat my pets like I would like to be treated with empathy and compassion. There is nothing bad to say about these guys and every penny spent is well worth it. The ladies up front recall me every time I go there and are friendly and the one time there was a crisis they got me in within the hour. I am grateful that they are there for my 'kids'. :)

I have a new special kitty I have adopted from the shelter and they fit me in for my meet and greet check up quickly and efficiently. All of the workers came to meet the kitty and remark on his freckled nose and treated him with love and compassion. You can tell that every worker there cares for their clients as well as us owners. I have brought animals here for over 18 years and they always are compassionate and truthful when there are concerns. My new kitty will be most likely visiting a lot thanks to his medical history and I know he is in safe hands here.

I take both of my dogs to AHA and everyone I’ve met or spoken to has been absolutely amazing. Dr. Schroeder and Dr. Johnson are both fantastic, and I assume the other doctors there are as well. They’re caring, informative, and fairly-priced. Highly recommend.

I've been taking my dog to Animal Health Associates for 13 years (and my other dog before that!). The staff members are all very caring and professional, and the office is clean and modern. The vets do a good job offering options of care and explaining the costs of each thing for those of us who might not have unlimited money to spend! I like both Dr. Johnson and Dr. Schroeder and recommend them both.
