Island Park

I brought my kids here today, they had alot of fun exploring, this seems to be a very well maintained park. The park has two parking lots, walking paths, a creek, restrooms and with the Willamette River right along the park. This is also a great park to have a picnic at, has great tree cover.

The ducks and geese are enjoyable. There wasn't too many people there. The play area for the kids was clean and inviting. I this is always a good little getaway from the city right in the middle of the two towns.

It was my 1st time to Island Park I was surprised because of what I could see from the bridge passing over the river, I didn't realise the park with much bigger. The park stretches along the river and has some really nice areas to sit and enjoy the view, lots of ducks around. The trees are starting to bloom and lots of white blossoms all over the grass.

This park will always be a favorite of mine. This was the first place I went to when I moved here. It's a well rounded park for everyone. Boats, rafting, ducks, geese, playground, pavilion, bbq, BATHROOMS finally, bike path, benches, tables, picnic, lots of grass, nice walks, dogs! Shade, flowers, swim, fam pictures. Sometimes events... Parking good . Semi secluded . Fun, peaceful. 💕💕Good people, senior center too.

Cool park ! Very pretty and lots of trees so you’ll find plenty of shade to sit and enjoy your day with family friends or just by yourself! There’s pretty ducks in a pond and so many beautiful butterflies 🦋 OR just sit by the water and enjoy the river :)

Wonderful place for a brief escape. The river is calming and brings a nice sense of peace. The wildlife, mostly geese and ducks, is great as they have no problem coming up to you, which makes it a joy.

I love this park. Even on a hot day there someplace cool to relax whether it's with your feet in the water or your blanket on the grass in the shade. This park is also dog friendly.

A great place yo take your family here to enjoy the great outdoors and take in the great Springfield air

This was my first time to island park and I've lived in Eugene for 40 years. I was missing out this whole time by not coming here. I randomly came here and experienced a new appreciation for Springfield. I'm going to check out some others after seeing this neat little park.

Lots of shaded parking, nice area for a picnic or a walk around by the river. I stayed here for the night too in my van no one bothered me. If your looking for a place to rest for a bit it's nice. There are restrooms and there was latin dancing festival thing going on when I got there. There is a playground too.

It was fabulous. The band was amazing , fun for the kids, good food, fireworks we're good... Trees are getting in the way though but still a great time.

I love going early in the morning. There's ducks and geese and generally not a whole lot of people. The river is so pleasant to see. Very calm and peaceful.

Amazing park. Caught a great sunset on a bench tonight. Hardly any people out.

Great place for a short walk, a bike ride, or a picnic.

It's a very beautiful Park to take your kids to nice playground and water for the kids to play in and a little wooded area that you could walk through

Stopped by to kill 30 minutes with the kids, nice clean playground, and a bonus the restrooms were open. Of course, with Littles, we are going to need a restroom. I cannot say enough good things about Willamalane.

This place is great. I was very surprised by the cleanliness seeing as how there are few trash receptacles. That's not a specific issue with this park, but everywhere in my opinion. If visiting in the rainier months you're going to want to stick to the paths. Great play structure for kids. Some covered areas for gatherings. It's a great park by the river
