Schmidt Ford of Salem

We continue to take our Lincoln MKZ back to this ford location, as it is where we purchased it originally & because of the consistent amazing customer service and timely completion of repair/maintenance.

On this specific occasion, we were getting an oil change on a Friday evening. We called that morning to see if they could put us on a waitlist if something opened up and they had an appointment available for around 4 PM that day.

We were already excited, grateful, and thankful that we were able to get in so quickly, as we were taking a last-minute trip that Sunday to Salem Massachusetts, which is a minimum 2000 mile round-trip for us.

Brennen Hernandez assisted us and not only did he make sure that we were informed on what services were being completed. He also informed us that we did need to get four new tires before we left for our road trip for our safety.
He took us back to look at the tires, which indeed we definitely had to get tires that day, as one tire already had wires hanging out of it..SCARY!

Now, remember, they got us in last minute to get an oil change at 4 PM. The business closes at 5 PM.
Brennen offered to stay over and put four new tires on for us, as he knew we were taking a road trip for our 5 year wedding anniversary that Sunday.

Thankfully, they had the right brand of tires on hand that day. Brennen got us a loaner ready, pulled it right up to the door, and offered for us to go shopping or grab something to eat while he stayed over after hours to get the vehicle ready for us.

Thank you so much for going above and beyond and helping us have a safe trip for our 5 year wedding anniversary, Brennen!!!

Rob, Matt and the entire team were so wonderful and helped me get the car I wanted at the price I needed! I cannot say enough good things about Rob! He was so patient and willing to work with me! 10 stars!!!

We had a great experience working with Dack! We inquired online about a pre-owned vehicle and received a response immediately. Dack answered all our questions before we made the trip to Salem. He was very nice and so easy to work with. We are so happy with our vehicle!!!

We blew the cold air intake tube for the turbo on the 2016 6.7 diesel five miles south of Salem Illinois. We had a 10.2 northern lite truck camper on and flat towing the jeep. We limped in with no turbo to the Schmidt Ford dealership in Salem on a Sunday night, parked it in their parking lot and waited for them to open Monday morning. I was at the dealership at 8 o’clock Monday morning and informed them what happened. At 10:00 they informed me the truck was ready to roll. You can not ask for any better service from a dealership. Definitely five stars!

we broke down on our trip down south and Tyler and the rest of the service crew took care of us immediately!. The parts were ordered and Tyler stayed late to finish the repairs to get us back on the road. We do a lot of traveling and never in my life have we been treated with such compassion by any company.. Thank You Schmidt Ford for employing such kind outstanding people!

I brought 2015 blue ford Focus here after having terrible service in marion Watermark Ford. In Marion. Watermark had it sitting in the lot for 2 weeks and told me it would be another 2. We towed it to Salem and they got my car in two days and gave me a loaner so I could still go to school. the lady at the service desk was extremely kind and kept us informed of EVERYTHING!! that all I could ever ask. Service was fast! everyone was awesome!

We had an amazing experience with Dack! He was sooo easy to work with. We drove from Indiana and he made sure the drive was not a waste of time. We couldn't have asked for better service and they were great with our kids too!!!

Schmidt Ford was very accommodating to us… we had both trucks in for maintenance … they were worked on & had us out of shop very quickly. Very good & reliable people!!

I am from out of town and broke down near the dealership on our vacation. We made it into thier driveway and found everyone so friendly, helpful, and empathetic. It was a weekend, and I don’t even think they were officially open yet when Bret from the service department helped us. He got us a new battery at a good price and got us back on track to our destination. I wish we were local because I would buy all of our vehicles from here, based on the excellent service experience. Good service is what really counts at a dealership!

My car broke down December 23rd 2021and it ended up being the TMC for transmission. I was not the only one with this problem. I was told parts for this was not expected in till May of 2022. I did get a loaner car! In May the part was NOT delivered to Schmidt Ford as promised and I was ok with that. I was kept informed on when they thought it may come and they were pretty close to being right!! I know it was not their fault parts were not delivered and they did everything they could! I do have my car back now and I’m very please with job they did! Very pleasant staff I’m grateful for the work they did!!!

Second to none! We purchased a new vehicle in Oct ‘21 and worked with Dak and Matt R. The process was so easy from test drive to signing. Since our purchase, Matt has been so helpful with things we needed done without having to drive an hour to their location. There are dealerships that are closer to me but no one even comes close to the service Schmidt Ford can provide. Thanks!!

Dack Johnson is the absolute best at helping you find the perfect car for all of your needs. He considers every detail you mention. I’ve bought my last 2 cars from him & have never had one problem! He makes the process very easy for you to get through & very easy for you to understand everything that is going on!

The auto service center here is also AWESOME!!!! They are the best at getting you in & out quickly & the service you get is quality. They always give me the best deals & make sure I’m happy with every aspect of my visit! ❤ I’ll definitely be back for my cars, services, & tire needs in the future!!!

I came with my tire lights all on due to temperature variations. The staff was very friendly and took the car and I was out in 10 min! Thank you so much.

I LOVE Schmidt Ford of Salem IL. Dack and GREG were BEYOND WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Greg kept in touch and sent me everything I needed to help me drive out and decide. Easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made. I drove 4 hours and bought a GORGEOUS red F150 4x4 for an phenominal price. I was out of town and they worked with me, helped me, financed me, and overall showed they were looking out for me. This single mom was touched. My boys LOVE it and were grateful I came home w/ such a honey of a truck. Greg and all the guys are true GEMS!!!! So is financing lady. Greg even drove my car half way to meet me so I could get it home. Priceless. This whole operation is top notch. Buy your vehicle from them.

I live in Texas and found a cargo van that was listed online. I inquired about the van and was immediately contacted with further details. I worked with Matt and he answered every question, every call. I flew into town and when I arrived to the dealership, the van was ready for test drive and all of the paperwork for the sale was complete. Matt and Jill had me set up and handed over the keys within 30 mins of shaking hands on the deal. I turned a 2000 mile trip in 36 hrs and would do it all over again to work with these folks.
