Our introduction might have come to Tosh quickly and out of the blue, though I was inquiring about a particularly hot segment at a time when the overall real estate market was hot too. I called, we spoke by phone, we had a meeting in Tosh's office, and we had an offer written and delivered all in less than 24 hours. Yes, this may be unusually fast, even when the market is hot. But that efficiency alone is not the reason I write this today. In fact, let's go back to that meeting in Tosh's office. Now, I don't know a lot, but I do know an honest professional who asks all the right questions when I see one. Tosh's experience was apparent right away. His personable nature and genuine kindness brought all that to bear in the most easy going way. Well, we missed that first deal. Did I mention we were in a hot market at the time? Sometimes 24 hours isn't even fast enough. But the right property always seems to come along at the right time. Isn't that how it goes? We closed on that one instead. When settling price and terms, Tosh negotiated firmly and fairly. He brought all to an agreement, finding negotiating points that someone of lesser skill, integrity, and experience could have easily missed. He is a top negotiator in my book. Hiring a realtor is a very personal decision. I recommend adding Tosh to those that you call when you are ready to begin working with a Realtor. Of course, go with the one that you know to be correct for you.
