If I could give this place more stars I would! We stumbled upon this place and it did not disappoint. Rosa was our server and she was extremely nice and helpful. Between my husband and I, we had barbacoa, carne asada, el pastor and chicken tacos. They were all amazing and the homemade tortilla made it even better. We also had quesabirria tacos that were hands down the best quesabirria tacos I’ve ever had. Rosa’s suggestions for hot sauce/salsa were on point. Amazing experience and we will be back whenever we are in the area!

This place has the best authentic Mexican food in Oregon. My favorite plate is the Quesabirrias with consume. It’s a must try place when you visit Eugene

Since my initial visit when the restaurant was newly opened, the menu has expanded. I've been there about 4 times during the past couple of weeks. I really enjoy the quesadilla frita (fried quesadilla). They don't skimp on the fillings! The atmosphere is pleasant, the workers very friendly, the food is tasty, and they have music playing throughout the restaurant. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the chicken taco because the chicken is ground. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, I suggest you stop by! Oh, and three of the women workers were making a cute Taco Tuesday sign when we were there yesterday. Three tacos and a soft drink for $6 on Tuesdays ♥

Amazing place. First off, there is a great grocery store next door. This place has such authentic food. Service is always great. Its a cozy spit with tablecloths and flowers on the tables. A small outdoor area to eat, drink, and people watch. Really vibrant spot with good tunes playing. Good prices to be had.

So happy this restaurant is still thriving!

Great food. Classic vibe with the kinda old table cloths and chill music. They got pastor, lengue, asada and more for taco options. I’ve taken friends before and they all love it. Prices are super reasonable too.

The tacos are top notch with a nice mix of salsa choices. I like the lengua. The service is always friendly and the wait for an order is brief. I've also had their super tasty carnitas burrito.

Awesome fresh tacos with very authentic taste. Reasonably priced food as well as nice indoor and outdoor seating. Overall very impressed and will be back for some of the best tacos I've had in Eugene.

Authentic Mexican. Very good sauces served plentifully with excellent burritos, tacos and enchiladas. This Sunday they served pozole, which we did not order, but many other customers did and it looked like the real deal.

Holy cow!!!!! Why haven't we been here before?! Today was our first visit and this is hands down our favorite in the area!! Staff was so friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! Taco plate and wet burrito featured. Hubs got Modelo Negra, I got a Corona seltzer; not bad! All for $25!!!!! (Tip not included

Every time I eat here I’m so please. Full of flavor, fresh ingredients and a friendly staff.

Had to grab something quick to eat and went in and ordered a burrito asada. There were barely any customers in but the place was very tidy, clean and had great potential for large groups. The service was great and they had a good variety of jarritos.
I loved my burrito which was very good packaged. Perfect mixture of rice, meat and beans. The corn tortilla bread tasted delicious and was quite fresh it seemed.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Eugene, from prices, service and an expansive menu. Very much recommend giving this place a shot, the food was absolutely delicious! Easily my favorite Mexican food in Eugene.

Best al pastor torta I've EVER had!

My family and I wanted to try the food here at EL RANCHERO and we’re very happy with service and food we had a variety of options and we are a family of 6 we had the wet tripe burrito and a wet asada burrito and 2 tortas a quesadilla and a order of menudo everything we ordered was delicious and price’s were fair I plan on taking my grandson tomorrow for lunch as he wanted to eat there but we could not stay today I can’t wait to eat there again! I absolutely recommend this restaurant and their market I shop there every weekend and love it!

The meat was juicy the flavors were on point! Would happily eat here again.
