PenFed Credit Union (No Member Services)

Could never say enough good things about PenFed. I've been with them since 2006 and have always had fast stellar service. A very friendly and family like attitude towards (members) as well. I feel as though my money is safe with Pen Fed and well invested in higher than average returns.

Penfed is a good way to invest into your financial freedom

I first started banking with PenFed because of their excellent rates on refinancing my mortgage. I've since moved my checking and savings account there as well, and this is where my next auto loan will be. You can't beat the rates. And unlike other banks, if you need to contact customer service, the hold times are very short and representatives are very helpful.

Pen Fed has always been a very solid financial partner in our household account planning since we joined in the early 2000's. They have offered very attractive interest rates on home equity mortgage products and on money market certificates while also providing very quick access to a phone representative who is pleasant and knowledgeable in all areas of Pen Fed's products and processes. Working with the online website to handle many aspects of my Pen Fed accounts, including credit cards, has been very easy. I highly recommend PenFed to others.

PENFED's people are great! I had difficulty with their website after I had started an auto loan application. I clicked on the save for later button because the website was about to log me out. I couldn't return to it no matter how I tried, and then I wasn't able to log in at all. I called and their representative took my information and completed my loan application (which was approved.) She then directed me to another person who helped me to log in. They both were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Excellent very professional service. By a human being, no machines or "intelligent" apps. Very attentive and knowledgable customer service with good old fashion client service.

Working with PenFed on an auto loan application was more akin to getting advice from a trusted friend than dealing with a bank. I couldn't be more impressed by the help I've received from PenFed. On top of this, their rates are the most competitive I've found aside from Ford-direct. I'm likely going with PenFed over a slightly lower rate with Ford due to my positive experience.
