Dr Kimball and crew have always provided top notch care for our cats and dogs. Our adult children also see Edgewood Animal Clinic for their pet needs. Dr Kimball has always been thorough with exams, yet gentle and accommodating for some of our anxious pets. My review is based on over seven years of pet care at Edgewood. This comes to a total of 9 pets under the care of Dr Kimball and his awesome team. You can’t go wrong giving Edgewood Animal Clinic an opportunity to care for your best friend and loved family member <3

I recently switched to Evergreen Vets. I have seen Dr, Kimball for my dog and Dr, Callahan for my cat. I was very satisfied with the care both my animals received. Both doctors were thorough and took time to answer my questions and explain all options available. They both are very nice and empathetic. I was really impressed that they both asked what I hoped to accomplish during the visit, and made sure that happened. I also feel their pricing is more equitable than my previous vet clinic. It took a while to get my first appointment (not an issue after the new pet visit), but it was totally worth it.

Excellent friendly staff! Dr. Kimball is the pet whisperer. Took time, showed genuine interest. My pup felt safe in his hands. Waited several months to get a new patient appt, and it was worth the wait. Night and day difference in terms of quality care I recieved from several vets elsewhere, while I was waiting to plant myself at Edgewood clinic. Highly recommend!

I took all 3 of my cats to get their annual physicals and shots within the last few months. Dr. Kimball is great as are all of the technicians and office staff. Everyone really is personable - to me and the cats. Dr. Kimball doesn't suggest unnecessary tests or procedures. The information I need to know is explained well. If it appears I don't understand the information it is presented in a different way. I appreciate everyone at Edgewood.

We had a great experience! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Kimball was the best! We feel very comfortable taking our pets here knowing they are getting excellent care.

My dog is pretty anxious at the vet in general, but Dr. Kimball and his vet tech took their time and it didn't feel rushed at all--so she had the time to settle in and get used to these new people and environment. Dr. Kimball asked good questions and really listened to my answers. Such a positive experience!

Edgewood Animal Clinic is very professional, attentive and honest. I really apricate that they do not upsell us on things we don't need. Dr Kimball is the man! He was able to diagnose my Pugs eye issue in one appointment and referred us over to a great specialist. He also called multiple times to check up on our other doggy after he had a dental procedure. I can tell they care as much about our fur family as we do!

Doctor Kimball and his staff are very caring, thorough and responsive to concerns and questions. Excellent animal care! As clients for several years we give them an A+++. Our Westie and Cairn terrier love Edgewood Animal Clinic.

If we didn’t relocate to Cottage Grove, Edgewood would still be our go-to vet. But we still go here because the best bunny vet is here (Dr. LeDuc), and they work with Luvable Dog Rescue. After seeing some of the staff at our local vet, it was obvious some were scared to deal with a pitbull. Our pitty is the sweetest and sensitive, but the vets (esp Dr Kimball) here knew exactly how to make her more comfortable. Whenever possible, we prefer bringing our dogs and buns to Edgewood 💕

The staff at Edgewood are knowledgeable and truly care about your pet. I've been taking my dog their since she was a puppy and my cat before she passed. I was grateful they do home visits for euthanasia, it helped my 18 year old cat pass in a non-stressful environment. Highly recommend Edgewood!

The care our dog receives here is excellent. She's an older dog, and has had surgeries as well as general and preventative care.

The best vet experience I've had out of all the vets I've used, which is more than most, due to my many relocations around the US and world.

We've been to a few vets over the years but have been with Edgewood for several years now. Always thoughtful, thorough and friendly service. Dr Kimball is an excellent vet and we never hesitate to send our friends and family their way.

I have been taking my cats to Edgewood since I moved to Eugene 8+ years ago. The entire staff is wonderful and the veterinarians are knowledgeable and compassionate. They have always taken my concerns seriously and made sure to answer all my questions. Treatment options were always discussed as were future care items. My cats became seniors (16) and I cannot express my absolute gratitude to the staff when one passed this year. They were so supportive and caring throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Edgewood Animal Clinic.

They just began allowing pet owners to come in with their pets again so that was huge. We just needed a rabies shot and I was surprised by how cost effective the visit was. I love Dr. Kimball who took the time to answer my questions about a concern I was having and instead of saying, let's do a bunch of expensive testing, he told me what to watch for. I appreciate his integrity. Not the case with every vet we've had.

My family has been going to Doctor Leduc since we started going to Edgewood in 2016. She is warm and knowledgeable. Occasionally we will also see Doctors Kimball and Callahan and we have also been impressed by them as well. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their fur family.

We've been seeing Dr. Kimball for over a year with our now 6 yo dog. We changed vets a year ago for a couple of reasons, we moved farther away from our downtown vet and weren't quite satisfied with the downtown vet in terms of space and care - good but not great.

So we decided to try Dr. Kimball last fall 2016 because our boy had an ear infection. Dr. Kimball got down to our dogs level, spoke softly and warmly to our dog putting both us and the dog at ease. Dr. Kimball definitely got that this interaction mattered. Dr. Kimball did a thorough evaluation of our dog including a look at a bunch of lumps on our dog. What we really appreciated is Dr. Kimball did not suggest removal of all the lumps. He did aspirate the larger ones to ensure they were benign. He was gentle and thoughtful.

Also, we raw feed our dog. Dr. Kimball did not try to dissuade us from this practice nor try to sell us something we did not need. Dr. Kimball respected our desire to not fully vaccinate our dog or pump him full of flea medicines or other stuff. He made suggestions with thoughtful information on why he was recommending these items (and because I asked about flea options that were least harmful and most helpful).

Fast forward to today, in the past year we have not needed medical attention for our dog but once. At this one visit, we decided to try a new practice that specializes in wholistic vet medicine, something we value. While we did appreciate this vet and her emphasis (and plan on using her in conjunction with Dr. Kimball), we decided to return to Dr. Kimball to reevaluate our dogs lumps (one had grew) and get a check up today.

This is a long review but I felt compelled to leave this after our visit today and based on some reviews and neighborhood chat about Dr. Kimball. I've not been paid, not a friend or related. Dr. Kimball approached our dog the same way he did over a year ago, with care and thoughtfulness. He treated conservatively with thorough explanations. While his office doesn't have essential oils or nonslip mats, his knowledge and care for our dog and vet medicine is worth more than that for us.

The ABSOLUTE Best!!!! My Service Dog loves the way Doc Kimball & Leduc treat him as part of their family. The staff are really skilled and very very helpful.
Too bad they can’t accept us humans, as I have more trust in them than any PCP I have found. You really can tell that this is their passion, and we sure feel lucky having them.
