Pop's Diner

So I must update. Today is 10-19-23 and I just drove to the diner and there’s a sign on the door that said they closed their doors and will be merging with The Stockman’s Cafe in the next three weeks. I’m super bummed as I was able to walk to the diner so I didn’t have to drive. It was the best hole in the wall diner I’ve ever been to! We always look for hole in the wall diners and restaurants when we travel as those are always better than your average restaurant. Highly recommend for great service, great seating and delicious food.

Stopped here with our family and some friends before we found a good spot to view the recent eclipse, and the place was almost to capacity at 7 AM in the morning, which is a great thing to look for at a breakfast spot. Our server was by herself attending to probably close to 15 people, and she was incredibly efficient and courteous. Our food arrived quickly, and was much better than many other breakfast spots that my wife and I have been to in the last several months. Excellent home fries and great biscuits with sausage gravy. As a rule, I have to check out a restaurant’s biscuits and gravy the first time I go there, and pop’s biscuits and gravy is a solid nine out of 10 when compared to pretty much every place that I’ve been to within 20 miles of Eugene. Oh, their coffee, just their house coffee, is excellent. A very respectable medium roast with enough caffeine to help shake off the cobwebs. Check this place out! I didn’t get a photo of the food, but did find a pretty good break in the clouds to get this picture of the eclipse L O L. 🙂

Amazing breakfast. Fantastic service. Love the small town appeal. Update: been back 3 times now! 2022 update: we had to come back! Better then the last visit. The owners are simply amazing! They added more to the menu.

Local JC resident here, my husband took me and the kids out to breakfast. Big portions for great prices. We all ate there and got boxes to go! Staff is friendly and it’s gonna be a go to spot now. Open early so that’s much appreciated!!

Never thought I'd find a breakfast restaurant that I'd give such high praise for. While the space is rather small and compact, that never deterred my experience here. My parents went this place a few times before recommending it to me. So I went, and it almost gave a familiar vibe of the restaurant that my parents run. This place was also family-owned, so already I felt at home. And the food was amazing! I've had my fair share of mediocre breakfast experiences, but this was nothing like any of them! I hate the fact that I couldn't remember what I had there, but what I do remember was that it was the heartiest meal I've ever had (outside of my own mother's cooking). I'm usually a breakfast guy myself (as you could tell from my previous reviews), but this was probably the first time I couldn't finish it. Thankfully, having leftovers meant I could enjoy the food for just a little longer. I loved it, and there's no doubt I'm coming back. Despite living in Eugene, this place beats out all the other breakfast restaurants in the area!

We read the reviews and try the restaurant, well, not disappointed AT ALL...
I Tried Popeyes omelet and the bacon was well done, crispy no big chunk of bacon, thats what i like it, because you can enjoy the whole flavor in one bite, even the hash browns are delicious, is not like ither places that seems like they just throw them in the plate... hey, this people love to cook... and service wow.. its great... here some pictures. My wife and I were on our motorcycle heading home from the Rhody festival in Florence. We were looking to get breakfast and always try to support local businesses vs chain restaurants.
We were pleasantly surprised when we found this place. The food was great, service was great, and prices were great. It's a quaint little locals place. We both had the bacon and eggs, mine with Pops potatoes, my wife had the hash browns. My wife had SD toast and I had a biscuit with honey.
Everything was hot and delicious and the biscuit was totally soft and fresh.
We highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to support local businesses.
We will definitely be back.

Small and Intímate setting. Nothing fancy, but the coffee was great, the country scramble with extra cheese was amazing. Cottage cheese and blueberries on the side, perfect!

Tried this place one Sunday morning and I'm sure glad that i do so. Friendly and prompt service, friendly people and good prices. I'll definitely be coming back again.

We were lucky enough to stop in for lunch while motorcycle touring through the area. It was FANTASTIC! Tasty food and friendly staff. Be sure to try "Pop's Potatoes" with your meal. Pop's Diner is now on the list for future stops when we're passing through.

First time ever here. We stopped for breakfast on the way to Eugene Airport. The staff was wonderful! Coffee was delicious! We ordered the special x 2: it had 2 eggs(over easy done to perfection), 4 sausage links, toast and we went with the Pop's potatoes(I asked the waitress her preference and why I ordered). She was spot on. Loved every last bit of what I ate. Oh and before adding ketchup or whatever condiment you prefer on the potatoes or hashbrowns, eat a sample first. I didn't have to add ketchup, nor will I ever there. The potatoes were that delicious on their own. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious coffee, the nicest people. Try the steak burrito which is 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. Junction City is so cute.

If you love Eggs Benedict, you won't be disappointed! It was awesome getting a fresh, hot plate of food.

My wife and I recently had breakfast at Pop's. It was the best restaurant breakfast I've had since moving to Oregon four years ago.
We don't live in Junction City and this was our first meal at Pop's.
I ordered corned beef hash and eggs and it was excellent. The hash was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It's a bit hard to find corned beef hash in Oregon, and hard to find it cooked right anywhere. Pop's definitely knows the secret.
I had hashed brown potatoes which were very good, but my wife had Pop's potatoes which were seasoned nicely and delicious. The link sausage she ordered was very tasty. Our eggs were fresh and also cooked perfectly.
The premises aren't fancy, but they are clean and inviting. Our server was friendly and efficient.
Overall, a great experience.

My food was great. My great grandsons great was daughters good was great. Gravy was creamy, eggs were cooked to order grandsons pancakes were cooked perfect. Oh my coffee was yummy.

I had a good time because the food was really good that my stomach was full by the second pancake 🥞 but other than that it was super fun(recommend to all people) :review by 12 yr old we’ll almost 13.😁

A little hole in the wall place where you can get a perfectly cooked breakfast. Pancakes with lots of butter and syrup on the side, big pieces of bacon, hash browns, Denver omelet and toast was all exactly what we had hoped for. We will definitely come back here again and again.

Old school diner with excellent service. The locals go here. Wait staff kept the coffee cups full. Pop could be seen in the kitchen whipping up the best breakfast. We will go back!
