Humboldt Sweets Bakery

We came on a Saturday morning. The staff was so friendly & helpful. The store is so cute. We tried the chocolate pie, pecan roll, cream cheese cinnamon roll, glazed cinnamon roll. We loved everything. The glazed roll was probably the least favorite, but he still cleaned his plate. The pie was one of the best we had ever tasted. We arrived just after 10 & they were already sold out of a lot of stuff.

I've been wanting to check this place out for some time but I can never make it before closing which is at 3:00 p.m. Last week, I was able to make it there on time and decided to pick up some goodies for my dad's 82nd birthday. He loves almonds so I asked what almond treats were available and they suggested the almond cookies and almond cupcakes. Oh My God! They were so good. The cookies reminded me of Italian marzipan. The cupcakes were delicious although they geta bit too sweet after a few bites. Also the cinnamon bread pudding was fantastic with the fresh whipped cream. Really wish they would extend their hours just a little bit so I could make it there more often

Everything was delicious! It was just hard to pick only a few items to try! We had the bacon cheddar quiche meal with homemade applesauce, bread, and raspberry jam (amazing), a cinnamon roll and caramel pecan roll (delicious), a lemon bar and a snickerdoodle (so good). The customer service was excellent, the interior is bright, welcoming and styled wonderfully. This is a little hidden gem in Henderson.

Bought several items (HUGE cinnamon roll, carrot cake, lemon bar, and an apple something??) and they're ALL good! Can't show all of the 4-layer carrot cake cuz I ate half already (OMG IT WAS GREAT!!) but here's the rest and everything else I bought. Also, as a first time customer, my salesperson threw in a toffee bar! How awesome is that! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here!

We had been following Humboldt Sweets on Instagram for quite some time and decided to travel 2044 miles to sample their treats. Oh my gosh…SOOOO WORTH THE TRIP! We visited on a Thursday and dined on one of the GIANT cinnamon rolls. The furniture and decor are so pretty and homey. The staff in there is extraordinary. We got the chocolate cake, the chocolate peanut butter cupcake and the blueberry streusel cake to go. The cupcake was devoured as soon as we got back to the hotel. The chocolate cake and blueberry streusel traveled all the way back to Florida with us. That chocolate cake….ughhhh….best everrrrrr! The blueberry cake is divine! We can’t wait to go back!

Wide range of tasty sweets and a few savories, great coffee, cheerful staff, bright space. All in, an ideal morning coffee experience. One suggestion I have is to use more cheese and heavy cream in the quiche to firm it up. It was too soft and had the texture of scrambled eggs.

Saw this place by accident. I'm glad for it, took the family here and we all loved our choices. Bread pudding I had was made from cinnamon rolls they baked and it is delicious! My wife loved her eclair and my daughter raves about her raspberry cake. I tried theirs and they weren't lying, they were sinfully delicious. The staff couldn't be anymore helpful and perfect. This is our new place for dessert!

The best cinnamon roll I've had in my entire life was the monster cinnamon roll from Humboldt. I could only eat half. The second best cinnamon roll I've had in my life... was the next day when I ate the second half. Someday I will visit and order one of everything on the menu.

Just got a lemon bar, a scone and a cinnamon roll and OMG!! This is incredible! Soft, tasty, flavored… you got it all! For a morning American sweets breakfast, this is clearly a place to go. Period!

This is the most irresponsible thing I've eaten in quite some time, but my God this cinnamon bun is amazing and HUGE. Literally the size of a dinner plate. Espresso machine was busted when I went so that's a bummer. Reg coffee was pretty good though. EVERYTHING behind the glass looked AMAZING. Guys working were very cool, and surprisingly not obese working at this bakery 😂 100% would return if I'm in Vegas again

Holy moly! Huge servings, excellent quality fresh baked goods and great people working here. Go early.

Wow. I happened to pass by and craving sweets. I grabbed a bread pudding and strawberry cupcake to go. Let's just say I am coming back and buying the whole stock. The bred pudding is made of cinnamon rolls and it is soooo delightful even a day later. The strawberry cupcake was perfectly moist and airy. Both were not overly sweet. A wonderful place. Definitely come visit and grab something or everything!

The only complaint is that they aren't open 10 days a week. This place is the REAL DEAL. Not only is everything that I've tried on the menu amazing, but they change their offerings and add new flavors and amazing Confections all the time. Just when I think I've tried everything in the case several times over they surprise me with something new and amazing. The service is as sweet as the food and maybe even more so. The staff takes the time to explain not only what the item is but it's characteristics as well. The only complaint I have is that they aren't open more days a week. I'm hopeful that if we continue to support them overwhelmingly, that they will expand their business hours!

I've been here twice. I literally took a 30 min drive the first time and it was well worth the drive. That glass case has wonders🍰🍪🥧🧁🎂🍮your 👀 will be so hungry. I've had the cinnamon roll with icing, the cheesecake red topping, peach scone and something that had egg in it. Whatever it was it was delicious😄😋 I know they have coffee☕sorry no pics, next time.

I really want to keep this place a secret but I must let it be known that this bakery is LIFE!!! TOO MANY AMAZING CHOICES! Their lemon bars, bring me joy and make my insides smile with every bite. Definitely one of my favorite places here in Vegas!

This place is a diamond in the rough. I didn't know about this place until my husband went on a search for good pastries in town. He found this gem two nights ago and we finally were able to carve out some time to head over, and I'm extremely glad we did. We came in later in the day, but was still greeted with smell of freshly-baked goods and a personalized experience to help us select our first visit goodies. Their offerings range from eclairs to cake bars, cake slices to their famous cinnamon rolls, and even savory scones to quiches. Their prices for each item is appropriately priced for the quality and serving size. I would totally go back and go into a sugar coma. Expect me there for a weekly treat!

I can't believe someone gave them 1 star because they were not open or gave 4 stars. Please ignore these people, just go in and try it. You will be happy. I'm from Humboldt and I met the Owner on a day he was closed but we talked for a while and we told some stories. Anyways he was a wonderful person and I went in many many times after and always wear one of my Humboldt Shirts when i go in. They make quality stuff there. Everything I have had has been delicious!

Their pecan roll and cinnamon roll are amazing! Their prices are a bit high but servings are big so it's not terribly expensive. That is unless you order some milk. It was close to $4 for a medium sized cup of milk. I understand you need to make a profit but this was surprisingly expensive.

Get the food but maybe bring your own milk :)

UPDATE: Nov. 13, 2019. Humboldt Sweets is now open, Wed. through Saturday for now but they plan to expand to 7 days a week after the holidays. I went this morning and got a pecan bar (delicious) and took home one of their caramel pecan rolls. The bakery and sweets are just as wonderful as I remember, and the staff were excited and as nice as I remember from my visit to their original location. I wish them all the best in their new location.

For those who are giving them poor reviews w/o having even tried them, please read their Facebook posts for current updates. It takes a lot of work to run a cafe, bakery, restaurant, etc. They will open when ready, so please be patient and remember that good things come to those who wait!

Humboldt Sweets was a fabulous family-owned bakery/coffee place that was originally in Humboldt, CA. I lived in N. California and would do my best to stop by their store when I was driving through the area to visit friends and for work. I remember their wonderful, fresh cinnamon rolls and melt-in-your mouth pastries well, and made sure to buy and take as much as I could home with me. It was sad to hear they closed the original location in CA. I always said they need to share their desserts with as many people as possible!

Well, I'm happy to hear they'll be re-opening location in Henderson, which is great for all of us. They're scheduled to open across from the Target at MacDonald Ranch, so keep an eye out for their delicious rolls, scones, cookies, etc. and hopefully the coffee and tea they served before in CA. I will update this review once I get my hands on their pastries again...can't wait!

Really great! Everything is fresh. Excellent variety. Great place for a special treat.
