"Well, well, well, Spud fell in the well.". So quoth Stymie of the little Rascals. Capella? Helpful people work here. A small store yet somehow more stoked with stock than larger stickler stores whose sober attire stores not a smidge of hope or joy of finding necessary comustables for consumers tables. A small, strange yet effective selection of hot foods. The aisles are packed, easy to peruse and navigate. Bulk items in bulk. I will find my way here again.

First off I love Dan in the deli and Sylvia.
Second of all I spend about 30 to 60 dollars a week here. I also consistently check out the distressed produce. I don’t live that close but I make an effort to check it out as often as I can, plus I love supporting local. I used to live very close.

THIRD of all, today I popped in to check the distressed produce and then went to check for my favorite sardines without skin cause the texture grosses me out. They were still out of stock. I am a speedy shopper I don’t like to waste my time or others. But today I was profiled , I don’t know if it was the fact that I put little effort in my attire so I tend to look like a bum.one of the guys there started to watch me very rudely and asked me if I took the sardines. I was extremely offended, I took it personal. Just wanted to let you know that I am extremely offended. I love this market very much with my heart and soul, I’ve shopped here for many years and this truly hurt my feelings.

For someone from out of town, I found this to be a very quaint store and it has a lot of what you might want/need - imagine a very very small Whole Foods. There were a few things that I was looking for that I did not find, but I may have just overlooked them and would definitely give it another try.

I love Capella’s ❤ It really is a Eugene local staple. They're deli is AMAZING. Hands down, the best made to order sandwiches in Eugene, and you can't beat the prices! I always get a whole sandwich because the leftovers are always 👌. My fave is the Mama Capella. Also, amazing smoothies and juices, and CHEAP breakfast.

Oh man these are amazing sandwiches. And the box lunch is a freaking deal! For $11, you get a massive sandwich, chips, a pickle spear, and a side! There are few better deals around and the quality of the sandwich is superb. All the sandwich ingredients are great, but I gotta mention that the dijon mustard is delightfully potent and the pickles are sandwich cut, not annoying pickle chips that move all over the place.

Good fruits and veggies. One of the best deli's in Eugene. Very nice meat department with skilled butchers plus all the other things you find in other markets.

Favorite thing about this place? The judgement free employees and sandwich makers that make my weird sandwiches with cranberry sauce, mayo, and mustard and carrot and cucumber and lettuce and a few other things like horseraddish. Thank you for being so patient with my custom creation.
I eat at the tables outside and every time a car pulls into the driveway, I practice mindfulness as the cars drive towards me... and when theyend up turning and dont run into me, (pinning me against the cinderblock wall), I am super happy. I wish there was a slighly less activating place to eat my weird sandwich, but I think life suprises us all and maybe what I am needing right now is, beautifully made sandwiches... acompanied by harrowing eating of sandwich. I now am hungry for a sandwich. Am I spelling that wrong? I turned off autocorrect.

Modest in size but big in quality produce, meats, dairy, and other foods (organic) and service. Good wine and beer selection, also.

Wonderful local market with great organic produce and a tasty hot/cold deli! The bulk section is filled with tons of goodies- from organic flour and grains to granola and dried fruits. Their sandwiches and soups and delicious! They even have several aisles of organic skincare products. Awesome place!!

Sweetest small grocery market in town. I love the selection of organic and fair trade goods. Prices are generally as good or better than Market of Choice and other larger markets, especially produce. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Real small shop feel. We get almost all the food we don't grow ourselves from this store.

Great food choice and they have a meat market! Great meats available and the butcher is super knowledgeable nice and helpful. Its the best place around to buy meat for sure... I love going here. Comparable to Sundance with meat and a slight decrease in price.

Great place for healthy food and super service. They have a really nice selection of organic, non GMO, vegan, gluten free, whole grain, local options. They also have an extensive and reasonably priced supplements section for those interested with very knowledgeable staff. They are famous for getting shoppers through the check out. If ever a backup of customers starts to form, they call for and get *several* others employees to open registers - quickly too. Their wine steward is ready with recommendations to suit your inclinations. Watch for their anniversary sales that show up in April. Long tradition of great service.
