Sladden Park

Great little park with a water feature in the sand pit Memorial Day through Labor Day. Playground, halfcourt basketball court, tennis court, and a small frisbee golf course throughout the giant old trees. Picnic tables and benches throughout the park. There’s bathrooms here but I don’t know if or when they are open. We visited last in May and they still weren’t open at that time. The drinking fountain by the toilets was running though.

A great tucked away park with a nice field, shaded tree area and a great playground!

Mid-sized playground with quite a few fun features. The sideless slide makes me nervous but my preschooler has no problem staying on - neither did I. Along with the playground equipment (slides, swings for big and little kids, teeter-totter, small spinning feature, etc.) there are also basketball hoops, tennis courts, restrooms and plenty of grassy area.

I have lunch here in the park with my family all the time. Great place for kids to play and there are nearby little free libraries. Lots of walking paths. ADA friendly. Bathrooms. Frisbee golf.

Lots of shade, I like that they have toys to dig with in the sand. Just one sketchy looking slide for my 22 month old that didn't look like it had sides..lol but overall great park. Lots of shade and picnic tables

This park is absolutely amazing. I loved the new structure. The rec staff was doing cotton candy at the time and it was so fun! Tons of seating and shade. We LOVED the sand pit. The water feature was a huge hit! The bathrooms were unfortunate, but everything else was great!

First time to this park. It was clean had basketball, pickle ball and nice play area for kids. Lots of trees for nice shaded areas and picnic areas

Nice quiet park right off the river bike path. Can drive to it as well. Clean.

Beautiful park beautiful neighborhood lovely atmosphere then suddenly cops come driving tru the park and the opposite side from the basketball court there was an rv witch cops wer responding to an overdose call from someone in the rv,not sure how it ended but it was a great evening with friends playing a game, really hope the person was ok and very sad to see this at a park wer kids wer present playing around

Sladden Park is very nice. Quiet area, the playground is really nice, and there's tons of trees that provide a lot of shade. Summer recreation programs through the city too are a lot of fun.

Beautiful park with plenty to do. There's a tennis court, playground, restrooms, and lots of open space to let the pup run around.

An excellent park complete with kids playground, disk golf, tennis court, restrooms, trash bins, dog bags, lots of grass and walking path all hidden within large pine trees. A forest within the city.

Known affectionately as "Big Tree Park," this is probably my favorite place in the Whiteaker. Because of its location nestled in the neighborhood, it's often very quiet and peaceful. At night, you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere unmolested.

Love the new improvements to the park! Looks like my neighborhood cares greatly!

I love this park. It's huge. It has basketball hoops and a tennis court. It has a playground with toys and sand. It has several large open spaces. Bathrooms. Close to the river. Good lighting. It's our fa favorite park in town.

It's a pretty cool park. I really love the parent and baby swing, honestly for me that's the best part.

It was a good day with my son and granddaughters. We went to Newman's for lunch. Sladden park built a new playground for kids it was awesome
