Monroe Park

I like this little park in the middle of a really nice , and beautiful neighborhood in Eugene, Oregon. It's a really clean, park with a big green grassy hill to lay on and the kids and animals to roll down. It's got basketball court, walking trail around it. It's very well maintained. Very nice park to check out if you are one that likes to go to parks. I highly recommend Monroe Park. The neighborhood around the park is wonderful to walk around as well. Full of such lovely older beautiful houses.

Nice park and lots of shade. Free lunch for the kiddos during the summer. There are swings, slides, sandpit, basket ball hoops and a strange concrete area that appears to have been a foutian at one point. History says this whole park used to be an elementary school back in the 60s.
There Is tons Of Space For frisbee or kites.
Low key and not hipster like Amazon Park. Love this place.

Its a great place to have fun and bring your children. We have a playground and Basketball court and plenty of grass and picnic tables to have lunch on. Come enjoy our beautiful park!!!

Great park with big grassy areas, sand box, play equipment, restrooms, benches and smooth skating surfaces. Great local park. I do my plastic take back there and it often has family events.

Cute park with a playground and bathrooms. Always clean, not a bunch of garbage around and the grass is green!

Thank you to the city employees and neighborhood volunteers who keep this place clean! This is one of my favorite areas to play with my dog.

This parks right down the street from my house. Really nice maintained 1 square block park. Has a playground, basketball courts, and a lot of space to play ball with your pup. Plus this neighborhood is awesome. Lots of good places to eat and shop within walking distance.

Great open space for the whole community. Eugene's focus on open spaces that enhance our community, and add to the quality of life.

I come down here just about every Friday to give out burritos/other food whenever I work with 15th night. We're at the library at the moment but we're usually at 44 West 11th (it's under construction) from 3-5 on Fridays. Everyone is really nice down here and it's usually not too busy.

Monroe Park is located in the heart of Eugene, Oregon. It offers a nice playground. It is family friendly. Nice and peaceful with green grass and trees!

Beautiful park! Well designed, has a nice park, and is located in an area with tons of trees surrounding it. Fantastic for picnics, walks, or just a quiet place to think or just have a place to hang out. :) highly recommend!

Love this little park block. Good play structures, swings, benches, and a large grassy area to do whatever. Also for those who like Pokemon GO there's three pokestops and a gym in the park.

This is my six year old son's favorite of our neighborhood parks. The play ground is kept tidy and includes a sand pit, a large climbing structure with a slide, monkey bars, and a section for smaller The park also boasts mature trees, large grassy areas, basketball hoops, a hill topped with a big metal and tree sculpture, and a picnic area with restrooms (only open during the day in the summer months).

Both the people and dogs were very friendly. Nice big open area and smaller one for smaller dogs. Pools so you can clean your pooch after they're done playing!

I fly my drones there often. The police security camera has cut down the number of freaks that show up and hang out.

Lovely little park, I went during a school day when the kids were all gone and had a lovely little one-woman picnic on a grassy hill.

Great place to relax on a sunny day, and take your dog for a walk. Right in the heart of Eugene.
