This was my very first time to float. I am claustrophobic, so I was worried. They have a tank for people who do not like small enclosed places. It was absolutely lovely. I was able to completely relax and the pain I have in my knees was gone during my float. I would highly recommend Float Om and will definitely be going back.

I was totally sceptical about sensory deprivation before I had my first float. Now that I have done this I would recommend to everyone. Excellent way to reflect inward about your life. I would love to this again. Thank you.

If you can simply enjoy quiet time with yourself than I can confidently recommend a sensory deprivation float. Even if you consider yourself claustrophobic don’t let that discourage you from the truly restorative and profound experience that you could have here! You have the option of leaving your float tank door open, and they even have a very large float area they call the “cabin” because its size. It’s big enough to walk in and get settled at your own pace, and you could even leave a dim light on if that makes you more comfortable.
Each time I’ve visited, the emotional and spiritual experience has varied slightly. Why? Because each day we carry with us different emotions, thoughts, pain, and outlooks on life. It not only removes excessive stimuli from your practice of stillness, it provides your body with a comforting embrace of near weightlessness. I always feel the position, and even rotation, of our planet in the universe while floating here. I would recommend having a visualization of how you would like to feel afterwards with you during the float, or practice the self subtraction technique and feel your entire body disappear as you experience your senses become neutral. This leaves you with a sensation of your sub and conscious mind being the only thing existing in the time spent floating. Time bends. Your perception can change. What you feel can be startling sometimes, just know that you can always reactivate or come back to your body at anytime by slightly moving one finger. It’s a unique experience that cannot be recreated in any other method I’ve discovered so far.
I also feel a significant decrease in my chronic pain for days and sometimes weeks after I float. I’ve been scheduling them after long hikes in the woods when I know my joints could use some extra relief. Not only is this practice good for mind and soul, I feel like it provides my body a detox and soothing sensation to my aching muscles and joints. Have you felt the difference after soaking your feet in an epsom salt bath? Imagine how good you’ll feel after soaking your entire body in 1,000 pounds of salt! The world would be a better place if we could all float once a month! I’m so confident in that, you can contact me directly and I’ll pay for 50% of your first float!! (Only if you know me I guess, LoL!)
If you end up really liking it they have a frequent floater program that’s definitely worth checking out too.
Thank you for providing this service in Eugene, and I’ll see you tomorrow morning for my monthly float!
Sincerely,
Tyler B.

I was vacationing in Eugene when the decision was made to try out a deprivation tank. I am very grateful we found Float Om for the adventure. The experience from start to finish was very relaxing and recharging. It was a very lovely space to just turn your mind off and float in peace in tranquility. Moni showed us around and answered all the questions that we had. She was not only very kind and informative but genuine as well.

Went for a couples float and i was blown away by how amazing this experience was. Incredibly peaceful and was able to pause life for a good 90 minutes. Also Moni was very friendly, she played a big part in how great the experience was. Totally recommend. Do yourself a favor and Float Om.

Great floating experience! I have been interested in trying an isolation tank for awhile now, and yesterday I finally went for the first time. The owner is great, and enjoyed the clean space - I will definitely be back.
My floating experience was wonderful. If you are feeling uneasy about the hour and a half time, don't worry - you will be surprised that it feels like very little time has passed when you emerge. I felt absolutely relaxed and rejuvenated after it was over, and I think this would benefit everyone in one way or another.
If you're curious about float tanks, you won't be disappointed with your experience here!

Float OM was amazing! This was my first float but the whole facility was quiet, clean and tranquil! Ankush was extremely helpful and calming. He answered every question with knowledge and quelled every anxiety I had about floating. It was soooo relaxing and I felt the headache I've had for three days simply melt away and every muscle relax. I came out so relaxed I could peacefully sleep and yet so energized I could run a marathon if I could run... great place, wonderful warm energy, nice inviting people and gentle atmosphere..

This is my first floating experience and it was perfectly extraordinary. With emphasis on the 'extra'. My first challenge was to avoid getting the Epsom salt water into my eyes. The Epsom, as with any salt, causes slight irritation because it will make your eyes dry. Though, the floatation tank was plenty big enough for me to quickly sit up and remove the excess salt from around my eyes. The ultimate challenge was the transitional period in the beginning of the float where I had to release whole-body tension and ease my racing mind. With time, this became easier. (I believe that the tensions of your life-thus-far have the power to serve as a sort of plaque, or build up, in the mind. The floatation practice will hold you at ease and you will thrive more with each session but you must make habit of serving the body and replenishing the mind to achieve peace within all subjects) The float actually allowed me to relax and transcend my physical form. This feeling became thrilling for my mind and strange yet soothing for my body. The floatation experience, as my first, was the most transcendental form of meditation I have yet to try. The Float Om Healing Center was quiet, peaceful and clean. A beautifully developed facility and I recommend you try it for yourself.

Very pleasant experience! My girlfriend had a float tank the size of a small room, so it was perfect because she can get claustrophobic. Mine was the width of a full matress, but I felt comfortable. Afterwards we felt more serene and "in the present". Staff was very kind and the rooms were clean
Tip: Don't have caffeine

Being 7 months pregnant I went here to get some relief and to relax. The women at the front desk was nice and explained everything to me, and answered questions. The tank was clean and the room was calming. Definitely will return and tell everyone I know about this place.

I loved my experience at Float Om today. I have never floated before and the beautiful woman behind the desk (I am so sorry I am working on getting better with names) anyways, She was so patient, warm and friendly as she explained all of the Dos, Don'ts and helpful tips of the floating process. As someone who has done silent meditation, and likes to explore my inner phycology I very much enjoyed the unfiltered alone time with my thoughts. It gave me permission to really do the work and meditation and not give up before the time was up. I felt heavenly afterwards. I was surprised to hear they have been slower lately given the constant stimuli of election coverage and overall upheaval of 2020. I was happy to give up my screens for 90 min of weightless reflection. At first it felt as though I was floating in an endless darkness, that was very comforting. I felt supported. (it wasn't pitch black if I needed to I knew my exits) What a special experience, I am glad I didn't listen to the voice in my head that said it was too woowoo for me. I will definitely be back to make use of their frequent floater rewards program, Thank you Float Om, I appreciate you. <3

My wife booked us each a 90 min session, I wasn't sure what to expect but glad I told her yes I will try it. 1st off all floats are by appointment only. No walk-ins. Ankush, the owner, super nice, very polite, informative and professional. Place is very clean. I had the bigger one called 'The Cabin' my wife had the 'The Pod'. Once you're inside the Cabin or the Pod and close the door it is damn there pitch black and complete silence. It's a feeling that is unreal, floating in water that is maybe 10 inches deep, dark and silent. What a way to completely relax. I loved it and will def be back again and again and again. He also has mystic scents and essential oils that all smell great oh and CBD oils. A must check out!

Tried floating for the first time at about 32 weeks pregnant. The facilities were nice and comfortable and the owner was friendly and explained everything clearly. Floating while pregnant was very comfortable and relaxing.
I'm excited to try floating again!

A superb isolation tank experience. I found the float to be more relaxing and restorative than I expected. The tank I was in was very comfortable and the parameters were perfect for a serene, very enjoyable hour and a half of float time.

Very much recommended.

Wonderful time floating in the Tranquility Tank for the first time today. The time went faster than anticipated. The pain in my knees that has been there for weeks was relieved. Very inviting space. Ankush explained everything and made it an enjoyable experience. So very relaxed and peaceful for the rest of the day.

I LOVE Float Om! You will never feel better than the moment you walk around after floating. You can hear better, smell better, you're more aware of colors. The float itself is an amazing opportunity to unplug from the world- it's like your floating in space. Try it once and you will be hooked

Had a great experience for the first time. There were times that I completely went to whole other layer in my mind. Definitely got to peel at least one layer that felt great!!! After 90mins it was like I was reborn again. Fresh. Relax. Stimulated beyond belief. Will for sure go back to continue my journey.

I first heard of sensory deprivation floating on a few popular podcasts, and after looking into the scientific research on effectiveness, I decided to give it a try. This is the only place I have floated, so I don't have an experience to compare it to, but I was really happy with the space and the owner, cleanliness, quiet peaceful vibe, etc. As for floating in general, I am hooked!
