Light Rail Cafe

Really nice coffee shop and food spot. Great vibes and service. We visited when it was busy and the flow was still smooth. Nice to stop after walking the Winona trails or just out and about.

We loved this place! I have never had a restaurant bring me a more beautiful salad. The fire roasted pizza was amazing and we look forward to trying all the options. We also got a sandwich that I think was the most delicious sandwich that I have ever had! We were amazed at how affordable it was but I think it's because they don't have waitresses and they don't bus your table. But that's okay with us because the food was so amazing and affordable and sometimes a waitress can just interrupt the flow of conversation. we never needed anyone to bring us anything anyway. I got a craft beer that was really good and they offer it as a half a pilsner so you don't have to fill up on beer.

I'm visiting from out of town and have gone there 3 times now.

Pizza
The white prosciutto pizza is my favorite. Ingredients taste so fresh and the crust is amazing.

Strawberry Basil Muffin:
I have no words for this muffin. It is so incredible that it defys logic. It is PERFECTLY cooked, so moist and just a slight hint of fresh basil that leaves you wanting more. The strawberry flavor is fresh and understated, no synthetic flavor.

I can't believe I have to wait another year (when I visit family again) to eat one of these muffins. I need a box shipped to North Carolina STAT.

We worked with Lauren to create a large carry out order for an off-site work meeting and loved it! The food was great, service was wonderful, and we were happy to be able to support a local business.

Came for a coffee, stayed for the pizza.
Their coffee and pastries have always been a treat.
I decided to get a pizza today, it was really good. I was recommended the Carbonara Pizza and I was not disappointed. Well cooked, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Sitting on the patio was a great way to enjoy a meal.
The ambiance inside is also great and very relaxed. Service has always been great as well.

Outstanding spot that raises the bar for breakfast sandwiches!!! Hash browns and aioli were outstanding as well

Turkey sandwich tasty I highly recommend! Waffle fries good too but needed more salt. Tomato soup could be improved it tasted like it may have come out of a package. But overall meal was good and service quick.

In town for a week for work, this will be my lunch spot the entire week. Hawkins Turkey sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Check this place out.

What a pleasant surprise! Small town in the middle of nowhere, Indiana has such a great place! The coffee is excellent here. I can't think of any better drip coffee than what they are serving here, most likely because they are micro-roasting the beans onsite! Definitely worth going out of your way to have the coffee here.

Then! For some reason they decided they need to make amazing Neapolitan style brick oven pizza too! Excellent options with perfect crust and great flavor. What a gem!

A very cozy place. I've never stopped by a café that also makes pizza in house! How cool is that? The nitro cold brew is to die for!

Such a cool vibe! The lavender vanilla latte is amazing and definitely get the sourdough breakfast sandwich. Great place to hang out with your laptop and work!

This building has always held amazing things inside of it, growing up in the area I used to save up my change for the bakery deliciousness I once found inside. Now it's got literally the best coffee I've had so far. (I am still a newb coffee drinker other than store bought though)-- Anyway, love how they source from local farms for ingredients, love their home made approaches and I've never had anything but delicious food here too. When that lavender syrup is around I am one happy camper. 😍

When you dream of your perfect coffee shop you are imagining Light Rail. The coffee and specialty drinks are delicious with plenty of non dairy milk options. The sandwiches are the perfect size to fill you up but not leave you stuffed or with leftovers. The tomato bisque was not too creamy and the toasted salty bread was the perfect compliment to the soup. The staff is very friendly and will not rush you out or rush you to order. Very relaxed and community fostering vibe.

Quaint little cafe/coffee shop at Winona Lake near Grace College. The salads, sandwiches and wood fire pizzas are all amazing and made with the freshest of ingredients! My favorite is the mushroom pizza with caramelized onions! Big selection of coffee drinks, too! If you enjoy bagels and pastries for breakfast or snacks, then you won't be disappointed!

This is my favorite spot in Warsaw. They have best food, amazing ambience, fresh ingredients and super helpful staff. You can study there, read book, can so your assignments, hangout with friends. So far best place to do something in Warsaw.

Ps: Try their soup it’s really delicious.

Wonderful menu, very eclectic. A lil pricey but was worth it. If you want baked goods go early bc they don't last most of the day.

The Hawkins turkey sandwich is always the way to go! Great coffee too- although they were out of espresso on this trip. Their bakery goods like the bagel bombs are also fantastic.

Friendly staff, wonderful food and a comfortable atmosphere! A great combination with tasty coffee as a bonus.
