Mandala Cafe Kombucha Taproom

What a great treat for a warm spring day! Just got the kombucha float (coconut bliss vanilla icecream with your choice of kombucha) with the raspberry and charcoal flavor. It was absolutely delicious and was like an italian soda meets milkshake and it was perfection. Also got 2 vegan candy bars that are really difficult to find elsewhere in town- they are these popular-chocolate-bar-inspired candies that are amazing. The customer service was great. Super friendly and the curbside pickup felt very safe. Will be back!

After spending a very sunny Saturday driving around Eugene, we were hankering for something cold to drink so headed to the Mandala Cafe to try their kombucha float. Since we had never had SOMA kombucha, the owner gave us samples of several flavors to try and we opted for floats with Coffebucha and Raspberry Cilantro Lime. I was a bit skeptical, but it turns out that booch makes a fantastic float! SOMA is quite nice on its own, but the Coconut Bliss vegan ice cream brought it to the next level, adding just the right amount of sweetness and decadence. If you have more of a sweet tooth, there are other vegan treats to choose from like ice cream shakes and sundaes. They also have an AMAZING assortment of vegan versions of popular candy bars like Snickers, Butterfingers and even Twix!

The service at Mandala was also a treat, especially in this age of COVID. The owner was incredibly personable and we chit chatted with him while we finished our floats. He showed us pictures of some of his pets—2 cows, a pig and a potbellied pig. He and his wife share their home with rescued animals!
