The Caretaker on the Family Farm (also a Teacher) was full of historic info, making me think...while making me feel comfortable on the grounds and in the Senator's historic house... where sits, amongst various memorabilia and a bust of Morse, his worn Senate Office chair!

Sen. Morse was my dad's young law professor at the Univ. of Oregon in the 1930's. Morse became a coveted U.S. Senator in the 1950's, known for his outspoken integrity - thus nicknamed. "The Tiger in the Senate"!

If U visit Eugene, consider a little road trip to this Morse Family Farm! The beautiful natural grounds may have some interesting events going, too; or just take a little picnic basket full of goodies and bask in the Nature and history there!

Beautiful park trails to walk through. There are some very steep walks but the path is paved so it's manageable

I've only been to the dog park during the winter. It's a good size, fenced park. They have a hose inside, but it is very muddy. If you bring a few towels your pup's gonna have a great time!

Update: Even better when not totally muddy. My favorite dog park in Eugene.

Haven’t been on the trails (yet!) but love the off leash dog park!! A huge amount of space to let your dog run around in!

Friendly dogs, a few deep puddles but otherwise dry and clean. Well maintained oaths, no aggressive big dogs. Nice hose/buckets/pools/poo bags.

This is the best dog park in town. Three large interconnected fields and the crowds are minimal. Dogs here are pretty well behaved and it is never crowded. Watering Station is well kept and three kid pools available to keep your pup cool.

Favorite dog park in the city. Big, open acreage and lots of friendly humans. Give a day after rain it does get a touch muddy.

A wonderful place to walk your dog. We are so lucky that this is nearby where we live!

This is one favorite dog parks in Eugene/Springfield. As a long time dog owner and trainer, I’ve always had positive experiences with dogs & owners here. Not many people know about it & it’s not as easily accessible like the other parks. South Eugeners are good dog people usually.

The best dog park in Eugene! If your dog likes to romp with other pups, they will love this place. But if they're more of a sniff-and-stroll-alone type, then they'll be happy too. I have one of each type of dog, and they both absolutely love going there. We've been going to this park a few times a week for multiple years, and have never had a bad experience with another dog. Most people at the park are friendly, and during the pandemic, it was so nice to go there and socialize with other dog people. If you're feeling a bit lonely or isolated, this dog park is a really great place to see some friendly faces.

There is a hose and some paddling pools set up close to the main entrance, which is a popular spot on hot days. After about 7pm, a large portion of the park is in the shade, as well. During the rainy months, the park becomes one big mud bath, so be prepared with a bunch of towels! There are multiple waste bag stations and garbage cans throughout the park, and from what i have seen most people clean up after their dogs.

We dont get up here a lot, However its a nice peaceful place to come and walk your dog, it has to large separate fields for No Leash dog play. Place for Dogs to get water and soak in tubs if your dog prefers that. There are a few places for humans to sit down in the shade and relax while the dogs play. There is also to rent for functions that are separate from the dog park, I have never used but looks like they are nice, There are also lots of trails to walk or walk your dog on a leash Very well taken care of

This is our favorite dog park because the people are very nice and always "on-duty" with their doggos --so no bullying or intimidation of shy pups here. (It's also not as crowded or muddy as Amazon.)The area is quite large while interconnected yet somewhat separated into three zones by vegetation and fences. Unfortuately, there is no separate fenced area for really small dogs, but I've seen lots of tiny guys do really well here. There is a water station and several places with shade. We like to use the walking trail to create a figure-eight with stops along the way to play ball or chat or meet new pups.

Great, relaxing dog park. Not too crowded, friendly dogs and owners, and kept clean!

Love this dog park. There's three large areas meaning there's plenty of room for the pooch to run and play fetch. The walking path is great for humans to walk in as well. The multiple entrances make it accessible from all sides of the street which is really nice. The grounds are very well maintained. There's plenty of parking. And if the park is too busy or has one too many rambunctious pups the walking grounds are quite nice as well.

Yes, its muddy from October to June. Wear waterproof boots, and have a great time with your pup! We bring our son there (was 7, now 8) and have had only one negative experience. Almost 100% of owners and dogs are good peoe, respect personal space, are interactive, and control their dogs. It's the best park in town!

This is a very nice little park in Eugene. We we're watching another person's dog over the weekend so I took her to this park. She had a great time playing. There is a place that you are allowed to let the dogs run a play. It is a very good park for a dog owner.

A great place to walk the dog or just to walk yourself! There are multiple fields for dogs and a nice open field for humans. There is also a covered area for picnics or parties (although it is currently closed for covid). The dog park always has plenty of beautiful dogs and lots of bags for pickup.

Less traffic than other dog parks which is very nice; it's a lot bigger than most too.

The main issue I have with dog parks in general is when people leave tennis balls there and then they get chopped up into little pieces when they mow the grass. I don't see a lot of this here which is very very good in my book.

Great fenced dog park! I love that it has the double gate so you don't have to worry about letting any dogs that are trying to make a break for it out of the park by accident.
They also have a little pool and hose if your pet needs a drink and a bath!

Good place for dogs. There are hikes around the park, there are picnic tables, and dog baths. The place is huge.
