Big Lots

Clean store, sells a large variety of furniture and other goods at great prices. Definitely worth a check if you are in the market for furniture or wanting home decor items!

Wish there was a closer one. We drove 23 miles to go to this store. It's clean. It's well organized, and it sells a wide variety of merchandise. We'll probably make the trek to visit this store a few more times.

This store is clean! Well organized and great prices. It had been awhile since I had been in there. The staff is doing a great job, friendly and helpful.

What’s not to love. Toys, candy, shampoo. Name brand off brand. Furniture. They have everything and since it’s always changing there’s always a surprise. Can not beat the prices.

Tyler and the manager Helen were amazing. I drove from South Holland Illinois to buy a sofa and love seat. Customer service was above excellent. Store was immaculate neat orderly and welcoming. Other stores can take a lesson on how it should look from this Big Lots. Please give the manager and Tyler an accommodation for the great work.

Unaware that the virus affected the furniture industry too, I sold my "new, but did not fit in the new house couch and chair & half on Facebook. Went in search for a power recliner for myself. Wow! I got a big surprise.

Purchasing furniture prior from Big Lots, they were one of my first stops. I saw the new Broyhill set another customer was looking at tried the loveseat. It was very nice reasonably-priced. I asked the very nice lady in the Merriville store furniture dept. to check with the two other stores close to me and Michigan City store had one.

Everything else I had seen was three times the price & up and.... 2 to 9 months+ out, nothing in stock. My husband and went to Michigan City store that evening. As I tried it out the recliner the lady in that dept helped us and again was very nice and very helpful. I decided to go for the Broyhill. The power was good, comfortable, the only one in stock. I've now had it for a couple of weeks. And it's Great! So far good.

I apologize for not remembering your names a couple of weeks later. You were both commendable.

6 months ago I was able to find all my Easter goodies...table cloth, basket candies, specialty good items, outdoor decorations and a whole lot more! The store has been closed for remodeling all summer long and sorely missed. Please reopen soon, many others share my same sentiments!

It is a good affordable place. Things here are at a discounted price including furniture and other items. I liked it. When I will have to buy furniture for my home I will buy from here

They moved next store but, are still in the same location, just one store over. I like stopping in to see what deals and specials arrived. Many, many, years ago we bought some small apple trees in the spring that they were selling . Last fall the trees were full of apples and I made apple pies, apple sauce etc... I bought canning jars too from big lots and canned the apples. They had all the canning supplies I needed. Buying these trees was a great investment, which we will enjoy for many years. The location of the store is easy to get to, ( 20 & 421) and the staff is always very helpful and nice. They have a variety of items, so if you need something, they more than likely will have it. I always buy my batteries here for the smoke detectors and remote control for the tv. Batteries are a great deal and last long.

Yvonne is the best part of going to this Big Lots!! You can always find a good deal on some sort of random snack. Be sure to check out the clearance section too.

This place is incredible, all the other Big Lots look like they are half way putting back together a looted store, this place is clean and organized and I don't have to cram my cart through the aisles, because the layout gives you actual aisles unlike any other big lots I've been to

Amazing prices and better selections than most places. I got a vacuum for an amazing price. And will definitely be going back for there house appliances

Good prices. Most of employees are nice then some of them are rude. They are lucky I am not a secret shopper.

I love this store. Everyone is always so friendly & Rebecca the furniture lead is the most helpful, kind, and sweetest person ever!! Every time I come to this store she always goes above and beyond to help me! Thanks for everything! ☺

Was here before the close to remodel. Love this place!! Hope it reopens soon! Great deals and has alot of different things other stores don't..

Tyler was a awesome help tonight! He made sure all our items were bagged properly and was extremely polite with a grear sense of humor!

Everytime I go in everyone is so friendly... I will continue to shop here because its such a great deal shopping here. I have bought all of my decor from here and will continue too.

They have totally redone this place since I have been there last and it is awesome. Bigger, more organized, still good prices
