We brought my Mom here for her birthday. First time for all three of us and it was AMAZING!! We enjoyed the sip and stay experience which was such a good deal! The wines are delicious with so many to choose from! We sat on at a hightop table by the bar where the live music was. He was really good played amazing music! The ourdoor area is beautiful we can't wait to come in the summer! Jane helped us the entire time and she was the best hostess! Going to come back again!

We went on the first ever production tour and Jimmy was full of info about making wine! So informative! Jane is such a sweetheart and so helpful! Our entire experience here was top notch! From the WINE, to the service, to the food! Just amazing! Highly recommend!

I always have a wonderful time at Shady Creek! Years ago a friend used to hold a heart awareness fundraiser there before it was completely remodeled, and now it’s even more gorgeous and relaxing! Their fire place is cozy and last night there was a gentleman playing his guitar and was really good! My friends and I dined there while enjoying our wine and every item brought out was delicious and pleasing to the senses. If you want a fun time with family or friends, this place is a must!

One of the best wineries in NWI. The atmosphere and view of the grounds are breathtaking. The staff is meticulously attentive. Wine varieties smooth velvety and delicious. The pizza ( margaritas, sausage and pepperoni) is beyond delicious. Chicken sliders were delicious. This venue is a true gem in NWI. Can't go wrong.

This is the perfect place for a night out full of fun atmosphere and cute pink bubbky aesthetic. We tried a couple wine flights and they were so pleasantly met with their different wines. There was a little bit of a wait but went by quickly.

Beautiful tasting area and some very good food options.

I enjoyed most of the options I tasted. The Red Currant was the very best option I tasted. Wow!

I can't wait to go back.

This was our first time here and it was a very nice experience! The wines were very good, I had the red umbrella, the Pinot Noir and the Zinfandel. I don’t drink Zinfandel but it was a recommendation from one of the servers, I tried it and it was very nice, bold taste! We had their charcuterie and other items from the menu and the paired well with the wines. Definitely going back.

This is a beautiful place to spend an evening. The setting is very spacious but yet intimate. The wines are good and the food was also tasty. The main reason for a 5 star review is the setting and the friendly employees.

This was my second time there it was even better than the first time I went. The first time I was there they were still under construction. The staff there is wonderful. The Shady Creek winery has a nice ambience going on. The food and wine selection is amazing. The gift shop is open now with some really cute trinkets candles smelled great. The shady creek winery also have the outdoor igloos to dine in. Fire pits as well. The shady creek winery over all a nice place. It won’t disappoint if does it’s because of you. The host that took our pictures was phenomenal I forgot her name.

Our favorite regional winery! The wine is fantastic, the food is great and the staff are wonderful. A hidden gem that you must check out if you haven’t already. Oh and they have a wine club and live local music, too! 🍷❤

Shady Creek Winery is inviting and tranquil. It's the perfect place to get away. Not only is the food amazing, their wine selections are impressive, and the staff just amazing. The ambiance is second to nothing else in the area. It's such a beautiful location, I can't say it enough. Make sure you come with someone special because you'll mess around and fall in love with this gorgeous backdrop. I wouldn't even mind going my myself. It's so lovely.❤

Who knew I couldn't review twice, so I am editing my first review from June...

Saturday, September 24, 2022 saw Shady Creek hosting Fall Fest. Hot mulled wine greeted us on a beautiful and crisp sunny day. If inclined, one could stomp grapes, run sack races, paint pumpkins, or just chill and listen to live music while visiting with friends. The upstairs area had a huge charcuterie board, beautifully prepped with a bounty of cheeses, fruits, veggies, meats and other delights. Tucked away conspicuously was their Midnight Dune (my personal favorite) wine paired with SC's spin on "dirt"- a scrumptious mix of smoked chocolate, bacon, pecans, cocoa & powered sugar. I snuck back a couple of times, they work well with each other. On the main floor, 2 large tables overflowed with nibbles including: individual cheeseballs stuffed with a bkueberry compote, meatballs, a pumpkin pureed dip, gourmet pizza, specialty doughnut holes, omg I could go on but one just needs to experience it themelves. One glass of wine was included with admission, and of course, one could (and did) purchase more. Shady Creek may be the last winery in Indiana before you hit the popular NW Michigan wine trail, but it has the prettiest campus, most spacious tasting roomS and cleanest bathrooms (admit it, this is important). Their wines are top notch and the staff is outstanding. Their sommeliers, vitner, and owners are unassuming and approachable. Never feel silly asking any questions about thier wines or foods. And if you dont know how to use those scary looking wine openers, well, they will be happy to teach you!

From June....

Been a fan of Shady Creek since the beginning, when it was a small 1 room tasting room. Today, after its huge expansion, it now boosts a rooftop patio, events center, private tastings room and a huge outdoor area beautifully landscaped with triple the seating availability. No longer do we sit in a party tent for events.
Their wines have improved over time as well- my personal favorite is Midnight Dunes, a delightful blend of Cab Sauv and Zin- think dark fruits at the peak of perfection and blend it in a glass... Yum!
As a wine club member, 2 plans available, my husband and I enjoy 2 tastings with pairings a month. Yesterday I tried the sweet board, my husband the dry whites. While I can't speak to his, I enjoyed their Red Currant paired with a seeded jalapeno surrounded by a date all wrapped up with bacon. Next was a sweet reisling paired with a sweet baked apple with cranberries. My final wine was Red Horizon paired with a toast bited covered in melted cheese (swiss?) topped with a wild blueberry jam(I could be wrong, but whatever it was was very good).
A little while later....
Our friends joined us and we shared a bottle or two of wine with a mushroom flatbread and a white chicken flatbread. No complaints about the food or the wine or the service. We've been members for ages and we feel like family everytime we go (we live about a mile away).
I do have 1 complaint though. SC does have live entertainment periodically, which isnt a bad thing. The problem seems to be the lack of soft surroundings to buffer the sound. Trying to talk with each other becomes nearly impossible with concert level sound. I am no sound engineer but putting a screen behind the performers and turning down their amp would do wonders.
Finally, with all of the new improvements I hope Shady Creek remembers their humble beginnings and those who have supported them through the years.
..."And they're always glad you came,
Where everybody knows your name..."

The food, wine, and atmosphere were everything. My friends and I stopped by after a day of shopping and knew we made a great decision to come for lunch. I plan to go back in the spring and sit outside and enjoy the wine.

Absolutely loved this place! We were in from out of town and brought our big boy Otis! And the staff welcomed not only us but him with open arms! They were very polite and so accomodating. He experienced his first pup cup and I think it's safe to say he might be hooked! We sat on their back patio with a beautiful view of their property! We came in October when it was chilly, but definitely plan on returning during the warmer weather! Thank you Shady Creek Winery for a pleasent experience! Til next time!

We celebrated a 50th birthday and had a group of 10 women. The winery is absolutely gorgeous both outside and in. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, showcasing all of the beautiful event spaces (that many of us are already planning on tapping into for future personal/corporate parties). There were so many wonderful wines to choose from, we tasted quite a few and they all showcased amazing flavors. The staff was very welcoming and extremely accommodating and took such great care of our group. We tried and shared a variety of food options and the consensus was overwhelming that the food was in no way secondary to the wine. Given the fact that our group kept cancelling our other winery stops for the day, you could say it was a huge success! We will all be back for another visit soon!
