The environment is so tranquil and quaint, truly gives off seaside vibes. You have a nice side view of Lake Michigan Harbor area. The service was amazing and our waitress rocked it, naming all of the daily specials. The food was good, we loved the oyster shooters and the cheddar and broccoli soup was great even though it was thin in texture. The gumbo wasn't necessarily a gumbo but more of an etouffee. The roux tasted very smokey and the homemade biscuits and eggs over easy stole the show. We also enjoyed the bottomless mimosas for $20 bucks. We'll be back to try the fish dip and fried clams.

Bartlett's Fish Camp, a coveted spot I'd been eager to try for brunch, proved to be worth every moment of anticipation. With a reputation built on pleasant dinner experiences, the brunch was an absolute revelation, offering a harmony of taste, ambiance, and service that made our Sunday morning outing a resounding success.

The seafood-centric menu was a delight, particularly for my pescatarian companion. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, offering a cornucopia of flavors that made choosing our menu selections an exciting endeavor. Our gastronomic journey was made even better by a flow of refreshing mimosas, served by our attentive and wonderful waitress, adding a sparkling touch to our brunch experience.

We started our meal with a sublime Shrimp and Crab dip paired with a roasted baguette, a flavorful warm-up to the culinary delights that awaited us. For our main entrees, we opted for a Croque Madam sandwich and a Harvest Hash bowl. Both dishes were generous in portion and scored a slam dunk in taste and presentation.

No brunch outing would be complete without a sweet finish, and Bartlett's did not disappoint. A key lime pie from the local Bowler Man bakery was the perfect ending to our meal, its tangy sweetness leaving us completely satisfied.

In terms of timing, while the 11 am opening might seem late for a traditional brunch, it perfectly suited our relaxed Sunday, giving us the luxury to sleep in and start our day with a leisurely pace.

I can confidently say that Bartlett's Fish Camp has earned a spot in our brunch rotation. The exquisite food, friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere combined to create a brunch experience that was nothing short of perfect. We will most certainly be back to savor more of their delicious offerings, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a seafood brunch that truly sets the bar high.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Bartlett’s fish camp and I hope I pass through this city just so I could come back again. I tried a bunch of seafood here and I wasn’t let down at all and I enjoyed every bite. First off, just coming to this area and where the restaurant is located is quite beautiful. This place sits just right off the water so eating outside is a must because who can beat eating with a view? Every staff member was quite kind and held out suggestions when needed and they always checked up on us in a timely manner. Now when it comes to the food, yet again, no complaints. Started off with oysters, superb slurp-age and the sauces are a good pairing. Clam chowder was decent, a good portion and a bunch of yummy chunks. We continued with calamari which was good, I ordered the lobster roll which came with good size lobster chunks and was fulfilling like I like it. Of course, you need to end with a dessert, and you can’t go wrong with crème brulee, sweet with little fruit refreshers. The overall experience here was wonderful and we even got a garment or two from their gift shop!

I am going to make us a five because it is very very delicious. The seating was outside, and it was very relaxing. The food was extremely delicious the menu had a wide variety of selection. The waitress was kind of rude and did not attend to us very well. Overall it was an enjoyable moment with family. I will say that the prices are extremely pricey. Pics below plus 4 drinks and two appetizers was 184.

Nothing but top cheffing with fabulous quality going on here. Excellent service, extremely friendly staff and right on Lake Michigan. Checking all my boxes!!

I followed chef Nicole here after experiencing, and now mourning the closing of, Bartlett’s in Beverly Shores… recently finding out she now owns this place. Next stop, her latest endeavor, the taken over Rt12 roadside bar, Joe Freddie’s!

Bartlett's Fish Camp is awesome! My only complaint is that the A/C vents are right underneath the tables so periodically during my meal I was getting a blast of really cold air. Midsummer, and for those prone to being hot, that would probably be a joy; for me it was totally uncomfortable as I am prone to being cold.

Aside from that, no complaints only compliments. Everything else---from the basket of crackers, my 5% alcohol spritzer, my INCREDIBLE fresh oysters (of which they had five types), my salad, my fish basket, and strawberry bread pudding---was fantastic!! To top it off, I had a nice lake view and a perfectly attentive, pleasant server.

Five stars for this gem. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to you. 🤤😊😁💯

Best Bloody Mary around.
Had the oysters Rockefeller to start which were excellent. The bartender did not steer me wrong on the sandwhich special! Great view of Trail creek and the lake.

So happy to have Fish Camp open for 2023! A favorite dining destination for sure!

One of the new menu items is the Togarashi Glazed Salmon with ginger basmati rice and asparagus! WOW!

Our server, Gabrielle, was perfectly attentive and charming! Such a nice dinner! Thank you!

Recently we visited on a beautiful Sunday afternoon! The Cucumber Mint Martini was just the right start! The Gumbo with Shrimp was packed with flavor and so delicious! Outstanding experience always!

We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. Our service was fantastic and friendly! The fried oysters were delicious and the Linguini Clam Vongole was tremendous! The Calabrian chile gave it a nice kick! Everything was excellent! One of our favorite dining options in the area!

The shrimp and grits was amazing! Shrimp, andouille, creamy white cheddar polenta and garlic rainbow chard make for an amazing dining experience!

We love Fish Camp! The quality of the food is outstanding and their commitment to service is evident even during the most challenging of times! Highly recommend!

Lobster Cobb Salad on a sunny Sunday afternoon is the best!

Came to Fish camp for Friday Lent. Great menu. We had a couple of appetizers that were amazing. Go see Kim at the bar! She makes the best drinks and is genuinely invested in your experience. Fish Camp rarely disappoints. A NWI Jewell

We found Fish Camp looking for lunch after a trip to the dunes. We had the fried clam bellies, fish tacos, and fried grouper sandwich. The food was simple but delicious. The patio was perfect for a summer day and our waitress Felicia was great. Next time we go through Michigan City, we’ll be sure to stop again.

Been here a couple of times recently. Good experience both times. Cute place nice views, good, friendly service.
Dinner (inside) one night. Had clam chowder, crab cakes, calamari, buratta/squash salad.
Chowder was quite good, calamari excellent, crab cakes ok ($$), salad was a nice concept but needs a little work. Cheese and squash were too cold and the raw pepitas and the pomegranate seeds made it kinda chewy.
Limited but decent wine selection, very reasonably priced.
$95+ tip incl a bottle of wine.

Also went with friends for lunch.
They weren't serving outside (cold/windy) but they accommodated us anyway because we had a dog with us. Nice!
Ordered a bunch of aps. Calamari, mussels, cod fritters, brussel sprouts, a doz oysters, and a bowl of chowder. All very good. Oysters very fresh.
$145+ tip incl a bottle of wine.

Third review:
Went tonight for dinner and I've gotta say, if anything, this place has gotten better.
The food is innovative and well prepared. It's reasonably priced. And the service is quite good.
Tonight we split the calamari app, a Cesar salad, and the Moroccan salmon w/ a bottle of Sharffenberger brut rose. $110 + tip.
The calamari was crisp and good as always and the salmon was excellent. Interesting Moroccan seasonings w/ chick peas and couscous. Sounded "adventurous" but it really worked.
Definitely one of our favorite places in MC.

Wasn't really hungry but on vacation I seek new places for good food and drinks. Had a pain killer and the char grilled octopus. Neither disappointed. The menu had a lot of options that sounded good too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd be back.

Omigoodness!! Fish Camp is open after their January break and all I can say is WOW!! We love coming here in every season, and on a February night we were were delighted to be back! I started with the pear martini and my husband enjoyed the old fashioned. The clam chowder came next and the smokey, delicious hearty flavors were perfect for a cold evening! I then chose the pan fried walleye served with lemon caper sauce on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely awesome!! Light & flavorful! It was a generous portion and I actually took some home for enjoying the next day! My husband picked a new menu feature: the Togarashi salmon served with ginger basmati rice and asparagus. He LOVED it! We just had to keep the party going with a yummy crème brûlée with blackberry garnish for dessert!! Perfectly done!! Chef Nicole Bissonette continues to elevate her game each season!! So fortunate to have her talent and her dedicated staff in NWIndiana!

Always great. This place is a hidden treasure in NWI. We’ve come here several times with a large group and the food and adult beverages never disappoint. On a beautiful day, we love to eat outside. However, indoors during inclement weather has a cozy inviting vibe. Thank you for making grandma’s 85th birthday party “the best birthday ever” in her words.

Best food by far in Michigan City. Equal in quality to high end downtown Chicago eateries. If you’re here on weds. GET THE Walleye! You won’t be disappointed.

I ate at Fish Camp last night and it was amazing. Lobster salad had over 4 oz of fresh lobster on top. Service was impeccable. Views of the channel at sunset...beautiful. My husband had shrimp and grits and he loved them. Please do not leave without trying the key lime cake. It is sooooo good and huge...yet somehow light.
