My favorite local thrift store! I can’t believe I didn’t know this place existed but now that I know I visit once a week! They get pallets of cute clothes and they price them all at only $6! I find some cute dresses for $6! They have other cool stuff in there too, I barely ever leave without something I need.

Some of the best shopping in Michigan City is not at Lighthouse Place, there are bargains galore. Finding the entrance is a challenge but it's well worth the effort, just look for the entrance to Galveston's Steakhouse and turn east at the alley, yes that old red brick warehouse is the place. Found a Amazon Essentials shirt for $6 bucks. There was tons of brand new men's and women's clothes and shoes all bargain priced.

Midwest Thrift is such a fun place to explore and find wonderful deals! Staff is amazing and so helpful. Must check out this gem if you are in Michigan City.

My human came home with a car load! She took my older human with a walker too! She said the owner was super nice and polite as well as the young lady at the register.
She had do a return the next day ( not to the fault of the store😀) and said it was very easy and smooth, but then she came home with a anti barking device!!!! While I'm still a little unsure of that item...... I'm positive that this store is going to be the hit of the town!!!

The items are new from various stores, probably from overstock or discounted. Not a large variety and still overpriced. The building is cool with lots of potential. However it looks deserted and the location looks sketchy. The employees are friendly.

Was hoping/expecting used low cost items. Seems like all new odd lots. Some new clothes were priced really well. Lots of random odds and ends not priced much better than Marshalls or Ross. Maybe it'll get better over time.
