We bought a stereo receiver from here. The owner, Tai (not sure if that's spelled right) was super knowledgeable, fair, and made a point to test it in front of us to make sure it's exactly what we wanted. He had a lot to choose from and appreciated all of the knowledge he shared. He is a master of his craft and we will be trusting him with our electronics from here on our.

I had a thermostat wire harness break away from the circuit board. Cityview expertly made a custom repair that saved me $300. This guy is a pro. Thank you Cityview tv & computer.

Very happy with the service I received here! The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to treat us well. Our Hisense TV stopped powering on so I took it in for a repair. After paying the nonrefundable $40 fee for the estimate, the owner gave me a reasonable quote for the repair and ordered the parts. When it was done it powered on properly, but showed the picture tube was damaged, which I believe was likely caused by the way I transported it. He not only didn't charge me for the repair, but let me apply the nonrefundable cost of the estimate toward the purchase of one of the used TVs for sale in his shop. For roughly the same price as I was going to pay for the repair, we ended up with a slightly better TV with a new backlight he installed himself. I also learned from the owner that Hisense TVs tend to be made with poor parts and are known to break after a few years of use, which I've also confirmed on internet forums. When I was looking at the options for a replacement TV he let me know which ones I could expect to last longer (TCL) and which were most reliable and would last the longest (Samsung). The used TV I purchased is also under warranty for a few months if it has any problems. I'll definitely be coming back here if I need any repairs or another TV in the future. He sells high quality televisions for much less than you'll buy new and can tell you not only how the picture quality compares, but how long they'll last—something you don't learn at Best Buy. Shop here next time you need a television!

The owner was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I was able to get a 4K UHD Smart Tv for just $200 and I got a 90 day warranty. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a tv or tv repair. He's got a ton of different TVs for sell and will let you see them working!

Called to get some insight on my damaged tv. They knew right away waht the problem was when i told them the description of the problem. And they helped me over the phone with my problem and walked me through the process to get it repaired. Would definitely recommend.

Owner is old school, former Hisense employee from long ago who really knows his stuff. Good place to buy a used TV too. Doesn't take credit cards but rates are half what you pay in Portland.

I was in the market for a decent sized TV but used and from someone honest. Craigslist and FB market place wasn’t turning up much until I stumbled across their post. I went in and found a 65 inch that looked great. After turning it on and inspecting it, I noticed a tiny line across the screen that no one would have noticed. Being the fickle shopper I am, I pointed it out. Tai immediately acknowledged it and promised to make the repair then and there. I got a call later that evening and came in next day to check it out. I came in knowing I definitely couldn’t fit it in my car and that I would have to pick it up later after I paid for it.
Unflinchingly, Tai gave me his keys to his van and let me use it to drive the TV home!
He also included a discount and warranty for the TV!
I’m still so blown away by the honesty, trust and customer service Tai showed to me. Thank you again, Tai. I’ll be back!

My laptop was in sad shape until I took it to Cityview. Now it is like new! I absolutely recomend Cityview it is the best!

This man has been my TV repair man for 20 years.
Recently I've had repeated trouble with the LG smart TV (LED Light strip which are poorly made). shop had floor filled w LG tvs in for repair.
Because the light strip went out 13 months ago, and has happened again… He's offered me deep discount on the repair, even though it was no fault of his own. English is his second language, so sometimes it's a little challenging to understand him, but this guy not only is great at repairs… But he is an honest businessman.

Our old set died. I looked at Craigslist and other ads, found nothing I could have confidence in at a good price. Then I remembered City View took good care of me 10 years ago. Yes. A Vizio 32" at better price than the ads. When I got home, I realized that it didn't have a headphone jack, crucial for domestic harmony at night. "Bring it back. I"ll swap it," he said. And he did, with much effort, pulling sets off the rack and putting them back. And later, on the phone, helped me straighten out the hookup. Attention like this is a miracle today. Reliability and trust are alive here. Not from Craigslist sellers, not from big box store. This is as good as it gets for a low price buyer like me.
