I was so happy with my experience. I love my tattoo and the whole shop was friendly. Kirby was so good to work with, gave me exactly what I wanted, and was responsibly priced. A true artist working in a great shop. Can not recommend enough.

Both me and my friend came in and got tattoos with Kirby. We had been talking with him for quite some time beforehand. Kirby did an excellent job working with both of us on perfecting the designs we wanted and also being clear on what would look good and what he wasn't the right artist for. And man was he FAST. The tattoos came out great and just so quick. He answered all our questions about after care. 10/10 will go again.

Got a witchy chest piece done by Krys & I'm extremely happy with the whole experience! She's really light handed & made getting a tattoo a breeze. She really worked with me in creating my concept & making it her own & I'm so happy I reached out to her! Very good vibe, great artist. My hubby & I came from Coos Bay so I could get tatted by her. I don't regret a thing. I meant what I said, I'll be back again to get another one done!! And the tattoo studio is super chill & very inviting. Thank you for the great experience!

I got a couple tattoos by Casper and I love them so much! They were professional and kind and did an amazing job. Plus pretty fast tattooing. With awesome flash pieces.
Out of step is my go to shop for all my tattoos. I recommend them to anyone and everyone that mentions my tattoos. Rhys is fantastic too. Everyone there is just the best and turning out amazing students.

I recently turned 18 and have been itching to get my first tattoo, I was walking downtown and saw the Out of step tattoo Walk-In sign and had to. I felt spontaneous and gambled for a get what you get and absolutely loved the design. BIG shout to Kirby giving me a tattoo that I love and for walking me through the safety and after care procedures. Going back in for another one soon for sure!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

He is so friendly, kind, and carries the best conversations. His personality alone is worth going back to visit each time. I had the BEST experience at out of step. I worked with Cas, who was absolutely amazing. I have been getting tattoos for years, and have never felt more welcomed, and comfortable!! They communicated with me my entire appointment ensuring I was comfortable and getting me everything I needed and more. They will be my new artist for sure, and I will be coming back soon!

Lily Gilmore Flint, you nailed exactly what we were what we had in mind. We came in to get a birthday tattoo for one and another for me.
We gave Lily some visual references and 45 minutes later she was spreading ink and making incredible images, the first picture is of stepdaughters back the second picture is of calf.
Definitely check this place out, whether you want to make an appointment or just was to walk in.

Definitely recommend Out of Step Tattoo. The vibe in the place is wonderful, very clean and right downtown. I had a wonderful experience getting my tattoo and everybody is so nice. They make sure your needs are met and everybody is very informative.

So, my daughter will be attending school in the area. I started doing my tattoo research before we arrived in Eugene to get a feel. I had my mind set on one place but they ended up not being open. So we went to another place and they suggested we go somewhere else. I saw Out of Step but online stated appointment only. Then as we are walking down the street we see the place. So I told my daughter let's just go in and see what's the time frame. Well, soon as we walked in the beautiful flowers greeted me. Love flowers. But the staff was amazing. The owner was there also and was super friendly. We told him we where looking to get a tattoo today if possible. Well, to our luck someone canceled. Miss Nautilus came up to us. Talked to her told her what we wanted and she came back with her design and my daughter was in love at 1st sight. Nautilus was amazing, sweet, kind and comforting. 1st tattoos are always a big deal and a bit scary and she made this process for my daughter amazing. I can't wait to come back to visit my daughter and come by the shop to get me a new piece of art. Love this place at 1st site. I pray that you all stay blessed with business. Comfortable shop and friendly artists. Kirby in particular was able to create a unique and badass design with little references as a walk-in. Really went above and beyond for me and it truly shows in his art!
