Four Winds Motel

We celebrated our 20th anniversary here just after Labor Day. Tanya and the other ladies couldn't have been nicer. The wife was able to access everything with her walker. There's a nice coffee place literally across the street, with local crafts on the walls. If you don't have big bucks for a stay at a corporate hotel, this place is your best bet. Let's just say it oozes character! We're making this our getaway place from now on!

Very clean room, comfortable and the friendly front desk was helpful, friendly and courteous. Excellent location, can hear the waves. It was cozy.

If you are a cyclist doing the Pacific Coast bike route and approaching Depoe Bay at nightfall wanting a mattress and shower I can highly recommend you this budget motel. Classic single level drive up motel with a surprisingly decent view of the Pacific. The usual amenities, and courteous staff who don’t mind you keeping your bike in your room. Only complaint was the shower head was the lowest I think I’ve ever seen one.

Arch Rock caffe just down the road is a great place to get a warm beverage early in the morning and stroll the seawall before checking out.

Tonya is awesome! Made a few last minute trips this summer - shes has fit us in everytime at the last minute. Older motel but for the price it is great. Beds are clean and comfortable and love sitting at the front window looking at the ocean!

Clean and simple. We had a lovely night stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We even had an ocean view from our window.

The motel has NEW OWNERS as of several weeks ago. While the rooms need some updating (the new owners have taken on quite a project), ours was sparkling clean, the bed was comfortable, and the rates affordable. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, making sure to ask if there was anything they could do to make our stay even more enjoyable. The location is terrific, with dining, shopping, and many nature trails all within an easy walk. A great value right on the coast!

AMAZING location! Beautiful views of the cliffs and ocean! Owners are very friendly and accommodating.. they just bought the place a few weeks ago, so it is a little run down but they are working on it. Very reasonably priced and definitely livable and comfortable. My stay is for ten days and there is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker! I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else and will definitely stay here again! 😎👌🥰

BTW: I was just reading some of the bad reviews on here, and I have to say… If you are looking for five star accommodations then go somewhere else and pay five star prices.. 🙄This place is great for the price! 🤘

Room was exactly what we needed, at a price we could afford.

Simple, no frills, great ocean view from the rooms that face the front.

If you want to Visit the area, see the Landscape, spend time on the Beach or other attractions, and all you need is a good roof and a shower; this is it.

Very clean. Room had Two tv’s and a privacy partition between bed and living area. Living area had a couch and small dining table, coffee maker, mini fridge, led lamps with USB port to charge my cell phone. I liked that I could see my car from the room window.

I really enjoy staying at the hotel good price for the rooms . The lady front reception was very nice and helpful. I would be back again.

First of all, let me tell EVERYONE reading to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, ignore alot of the very old 1 and 2 star reviews as this place is under NEW OWNERSHIP as of just a few months ago. Terry and Sonya (new owners) are so so nice and welcoming!! Completely opposite of the previous regime. For the price....BEST DEAL BY FAR I've ever had ANYWHERE on the Oregon Coast!! The room is like a mini suite with a small but good sized living room with a comfortable couch and t.v and then a 3/4 or so wall that separates the bedroom with its own separate t.v. and private bath. And then there's the view.... ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! A view of the entire bay in Depot Bay!! We WILL be back many many many more times in the future!! This place is truly a hidden gem! My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay for the night, and Four Winds Motel was the cheapest place in town. The owner checked us in and was extremely friendly and helpful. We could tell that he was very proud of his business. The room was clean and had a nice vintage vibe to it. 10/10 would stay again!

I gave this place a five star rating because I had a family emergency and had to cancel my reservation last minute. They could have charged me for 1 of the 3 nights I had reserved but instead were considerate. I respectfully appreciate their flexibility. 🙂

Oh boy I have had the time of my life I mean the time of my life there's spot on very clean and not out of the ordinary they are flat out real people I got to give this place probably the most liked place that I seen in 74 years I live here the people of staff are so friendly let me tell you something some of the women around here are flat out gorgeous

A lovely couple owns and runs the place. Got a great price for the ocean facing rooms. The rooms were clean the hospitality was exceptional. Planning to come again next year!!

For a single adult who wants to enjoy Depoe Bay for more than just a few nights at a bargain, then they're is no place better. The manager is always around to help, it's clean, safe and quiet. It's also a stone's throw to the sea. A Home by the Sea...

Just stayed at four winds this weekend and the room was clean and fresh and the staff (The ower) had extremely awesome customer service. She help a bad experience that I was having turn in to a positive situation, and I'm thankful for her help and understanding. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Daniel and April Ackerman.

This place is a must if your in depoe bay and looking for a place to stay. Literally watch the whales from your room!!!
