We would give Gruwell Roofing 10 stars if we could! They replaced our roof and added 4 Sun Tunnels. The entire experience from start to finish was great. Most importantly, the work was very well done and accomplish on time and on budget. Not only were they the lowest bid, but they were able to get to work almost immediately. The crew was diligent and easy to engage with. Every part of the process was clear and transparent - no surprises.

Fantastic roofing company. They did an absolutely beautiful job installing metal roofing (it wasn’t an easy job) and did it very reasonably and just in time to protect our building against the winter rains. Really professional and pleasant crew. My general contractor thought they were the best roofers he had ever seen in the Eugene Springfield area. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for any roofing jobs!

I cannot recommend Gruwell Roofing enough if you want to have skylights installed in your house. Matt, the owner, is an amazingly thorough and skilled professional. His services are in high demand so you might have to wait a bit. But the wait is so worthwhile. Also, if you had to redo or repair your roof there’s only one person I would trust and that is Matt!. I have never encountered anyone so concern with his client’s needs and wants. He did not want any deposit and only wanted to get paid AFTER the work was completed and that I was fully happy with it! His workmanship is unbelievable. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

I am writing on behalf of my father whose English is not as fluent, but he told me that Gruwell Roofing was so easy and flexible to work with and that they did a great job with our roof and skylight. I wanted to thank Erin and his crew at Gruwell Roofing for their excellent work they did re-roofing our home. He is very knowledgeable about products and what would work best for certain applications he and his crew are also professional and courteous. Our low-pitched roof presented a challenge we were planning to go with a specially-designed shingle for a low pitch roof but upon removing the old roofing we realized we had wide spaced tongue and groove sub roof. Erin was knowledgeable and helped us to decide on a proper solution using ice and water shield and were able to upgrade to Malarkey Vista polymer modified architectural shingle which was a far superior product to the original selected shingle option and choice. I am pleased with the safety precautions and work including the clean up that they did to install our new roof. Our home now looks fantastic and I would highly recommend Gruwell Roofing and their expert workmanship to friends or anyone looking for a well professionally installed Roofing System.

My neighbor recommended Gruwell Roofing, and from the beginning of our communications I found Erin and Matt very professional and responsive. Erin came quickly to do the estimate and whenever I had a question he responded immediately, sending information and articles about ventilation and roofing for me to read so I could understand my options. Then when time came for the installation, he and his brother came with a really fine crew. They were a pleasure to have working on the house and did a beautiful job in a very short time.
The roof looks great and is meticulously finished, and the ridge vent we decided to install is already making a huge difference in the temperature inside the house. I would recommend Erin and Matt with no reservations.

WOW! I hired Gruwell to replace our roof and to say they were absolutely amazing in an understatement. Erin was super friendly and highly professional and they recommended the best products for our roof. Communication was amazing and they got the job done with zero issues. We recently purchased the home and haven't moved in yet (we are still out of state). I was a little nervous about having contractors working at the house without me there to monitor (I had a really bad experience getting a roof replaced on another home) but Erin sent me photos of the job as things progressed and stayed in touch through the entire process.
