Solid selection of drinks on tap. Food is absolutely delicious. The goat cheese is must try. Fig pizza is also recommended!

The staff is superb and always helpful!

Have been here on several occasions, on this particular day we stopped in for lunch. The Black Sparrow at first glance seems underwhelming. Once you step inside, the character and charm changes your mind.

Boasting a large selection of cocktails and drinks, the Sparrow has a wonderful selection of local brews.

Food is not only unique, but pleasantly tasteful and fulfilling. The textures, flavors, and combinations are all done right.

For the price is slightly higher than you might expect at a typical sit-down restaurant, it is well worth the experience and the results.

I had the most delicious Asian Sesame Soba Noodle salad for lunch. Wonderful!

Appreciate the salad options. And a good range of unique beers.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight and their pizzas are delicious, fresh ingredients with a down town flair. He ordered Pepperoni and I got the El Capo. Lots of different local beers, ales and ciders available. Decent prices and 21+ only .

This was my first time eating here for brunch with a friend. It was a good spot to be able to enjoy your brunch and have a conversation. It did get a little loud at some points but it quickly died down a bit. The food was good and our waitress checked on us a lot. Overall my experience here was great and I would definitely go again!

My local. Cocktails are reliably creative, well balanced, and skillfully made. Local/craft beer selection always has something to explore. The food menu has good things to try, and I have not been disappointed on flavour and quality. I moved away a bit ago, but found myself craving the bacon-wrapped dates and a First Word cocktail, so I thought that warranted a review :)

It's Saturday night in Lafayette Indiana. My wife and I are rolling into town for a well earned night out, first in months. We're looking a topshelf eclectic menu prepared by a 5 star kitchen and chef. Throw unique cocktails into the ask, and there's one place that rises above the rest. We popped into the sparrow, sitting at the bar (full social distancing rules in play) and immediately the bartender (giana the gifted) pulls a rabbit out of her hat making an impromptu spritzer perfect for my wife. The house red is an amazing value so I just asked for the bottle. Giana recommended a few of the specials and as I'd NEVER been disappointed with the food here, I took the suggestion and tried the pepperoni and fennel pizza. Wife got a sirloin in chantrell mushroom sauce. Pizza was great(a bit greasy from the pepand cheese) and her sirloin was more marbled than she expected but the flavors were exactly what one hopes for. Amazing flavors and different combinations. This is not a burger bar. Go here if you're looking for some great food, great friendly service, and a great old England pub style (with modern music). It's great here.

This might be the best bar in Tippecanoe County. I really enjoy it. I don't think I've ever seen this happen but it just feels like the type of bar where everyone would join in a drinkng song.The staff make you feel like a regular even if you only come in once every few months. The food is above average for a bar and at best can be ridiculously good. We had steak frites once, and it was out of this world. Like, I still dream about that meal.

Their drinks are pretty good as well. My wife really enjoys their seasonal options.

Great food option in Lafayette! Stopped for for a quick lunch and got to sit outside on a warm September day. It was perfect and food was DELICIOUS! Loved the Cuban!

Straw Rhule is great! Such lovely service! They are pretty quick and have good sitting space! Their food menu is a little pricey but looks fun!

A wonderful bar with a mellow, alt/hipster-esque atmosphere, great for casual meetups or just a relaxing, end of the weekend Sunday night drink. The daily $5 Beer and Shot is impossible to beat and always features a mid-to-top shelf whiskey and a local craft beer.

Great place to hang while waiting for the bus. Actually opened at 10:00 am on Sunday for brunch which was amazing.

Great stop for drinks and food, the bartenders were friendly too. Shot and a beer specials and the pizza was great too.

This place is awesome! Everything was absolutely delicious - I had the peach cobbler sour beer and it was one of the best (if not the best) sour I've ever had. Loved every sip. The wings were fantastic and a great starter. And the waiter recommended the nachos which I had for the main course and it was also fabulous. My cousin had the bahn mi and really enjoyed it too. Highly recommend all the menu items and the beer, will definitely be back again!

One of our favorite place in the Lafayette area. No trouble finding parking, and we haven't had anything we didn't like. The cocktails are really fun, and the new nachos they started this summer (and continued through fall!) are amazing.
