Everybody here is AMAZING! They make everyone feel included and treat everyone 100% equally.
Jordan teaches a Gentle Flow Yoga class that is perfectly gentle for those of us who can't quite keep up with the more standard yoga practices. She incorporates meditative practices as well and it makes my day better. I recently attended one of her retreats and it was the best day I've had in a long time. I highly encourage you to try EPY. First class is free for Lane residents! Go check it out!

I have been to Every Day People Yoga weekly for at least two, probably three years now. The studio, with its skylights and bamboo floors, is very peaceful. Although I do have favorite teachers, depending mostly on my schedule, I have enjoyed sessions with all of the instructors that I have experienced. Whatever level of yoga you want to work with, I'm sure you will find a good teacher there.

I loved my experience here--the space is beautiful and centrally located. The studio is spacious, has live plants, skylights and a lovely bamboo floor. I appreciated that I could get familiar with the expectations and offerings on their website before arriving. All of the teachers were polite, welcoming my partner and I to the space when we arrived. They have enough teachers that I was able to find both a difficulty level and instructor that was just right for me. I liked that beyond the foyer there was a separate room for shoes and belongings. I am happy to have found Everyday People Yoga.

The quality of the instruction is unsurpassed, and I always learn something new. Overall, EPY offers me a perfect balance between a warm, personal environment and expert instruction.

The space of Everyday People Yoga is so special to me. I completed my teacher training here a couple years ago and still practice and teach here. I recently returned from teaching yoga in an eco-resort in Hawaii where people were always inquiring about my teacher and training. I was so proud to bring up Eugene, praise my amazing and humble teacher Phoenix Desmond, and recommend the studio that will always feel like my home. I am still receiving gifts from my 200 hour training and continue to grow in my practice and as someone who shares the practice. The encouragement of my teacher and the thoroughness of his teachings are priceless and stay in my heart. Thank you to anyone who has encouraged me directly or indirectly, I truly appreciate it. With this said I like to invite you to come practice with me!!

I love the minimalist but striking feel of this studio. With numerous skylights the room is bright and inviting even on the darkest days. You can hear the rain and watch the clouds while you practice. It's a huge plus that many of my favorite teachers now teach at EPY and the whole community feels especially warm.

Everyday People Yoga is not only my current home for my business Quasar Center for Healing but also my yoga practice. They have weathered through the pandemic with their core values and I know will be stronger for it. I decided to reside there because I know how important yoga and this studio is to the community. They will treat with you compassion and great service and I recommend this studio to all.

It was my first time taking a yoga class and not once did I feel uncomfortable or self-conscious. The instructors are very welcoming and attentive to your needs. The studio is beautiful, very clean and inviting. I highly recommend it to all, especially beginners.

The energy in this studio is special, you can feel the love that the teachers put into their classes. There’s so much dedication and truthfulness to the practice, definitely the most loving studio in town.

One of the best studios in town! I love that there are so many choices of styles, teachers, and class times. It makes it easy to drop in last minute. My favorite teachers are Lauren, Jordan, and Zoe, but I have never been to a class that I disliked. For me it has the right blend of integrating mind, body, and spirit, with short meditations and reminders to let go and let the yoga practice be a refuge, without being overly hippie dippie. The donation based model makes yoga accessible to more people in the community and, to me lends to the down to earth atmosphere. There is a crazy cheap Groupon out there, but after learning that the teachers only receive a dollar or two from the Groupon passes for each class, I just stick to a donation. $10 is the low end of the sliding scale recommended donation, which is less expensive than anywhere else in town ,to my knowledge (of course, pay more if you are able, since the studio runs on donations only, and teachers are paid a percentage of donations). Lastly, the space is beautiful and relaxing, with great natural light from several skylights.

This is a very authentic yoga experience, keeping yoga simple yet potent. The All Levels class was helpful because variations were offered for each pose (to make it more challenging or simple). The environment and culture seem truly simple, non-intimidating and genuine. The instructor offers helpful suggestions and the mirror-less studio allows it to be a true inward practice. Plus, it's budget friendly. There's a drop box for donations just when you walk in the studio. No pressure.

Look no further — this is the place. During a six-month period I studied with four of this studio’s teachers. They taught very different classes, and each teacher had a unique style. I give all the classes and all the teachers topmost marks. Their financial policy cannot be improved upon, and "merely" reflects the deeper picture of what takes place here: authentic teaching of the genuine article. We are very lucky to have Everyday People Yoga in Eugene.

I love this place! I feel like its a just made bed and love how comfortable the vibe is. Pheonix really knows how to set the space frequently burning lemongrass oil and sacred incense. The studio has become my second home in many ways. Iv also have had a lot of guidance learning how to slow down my practice and nurture my body. There are wonderful teachers here also who are kind and really pay attention to each students needs. Iv enjoyed feeling welcome here and appreciate the fact that it is donation based, attracting people from all walks with the common intention, to heal.
Thank you everyone who makes this space possible!

I've really enjoyed classes at EPY - the classes are taught by experienced instructors and there is always a welcoming atmosphere. Instruction is inclusive towards both beginners and experienced folks. Virtual classes during COVID-19 have been a great resource while I have been unable to attend in person.

Everyday People Yoga is awesome! The studio is impeccable - simply but beautifully decorated, and very neat and clean. Mats, cushions, blankets, blocks, and straps are all available for free use. The EPY instructors are experienced, extremely conscientious, and inspirational. The owner, in addition to having these traits, is very spiritually knowledgeable. EPY's donation policy is a wonderful practice, and is very inclusive and thoughtful. There are a variety of classes available for all levels of experience and interest types. Free street parking is right in front of the studio. EPY is exceptional!

If you are looking for a warm, welcoming, and affordable place to do yoga, then I highly recommend you check this place out. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, or experienced, they have classes that challenge your needs. Yoga by donation, so that anyone can attend, and nobody has to be left out. Great teachers and great atmosphere. Namaste

If I could give EDPY 1000 stars, I would.

I just moved from Portland, spoiled by wonderful yoga instructors, and had been struggling find a studio that was the right fit for me. I am a young, female with severe back pain from sitting at a desk job all day. I find that practicing yoga helps me not only maintain great posture and low levels of pain, but also with my alleviates my recurring anxiety.

My first time attending EDPY was in a Gentle Flow class, where I felt the energy from other students, and the instructor. It is a very inviting space, with wood floors, open floor plan, and a very clean studio space. Let just say, I had such a wonderful experience that I immediately cancelled my membership elsewhere and have committed to being a member of the EDPY family.

The classes are varied and provide an opportunity for any skill level to practice yoga. It is AUTHENTIC yoga, which is seemingly impossible to find in the Eugene area. & most importantly, it is yoga FOR THE PEOPLE! I always try to support donation based yoga, because who can argue with their mission "Yoga belongs to everyone". Being low income, a student, or heck just a normal person, we struggle every day with stressful situations (not making rent, an exam, etc). I thank EDPY for providing my community with an affordable way to connect with ourselves and with our God, while relieving stress and promoting inner-peace.
