I feel fortunate to be with Oak Street Medical. Every aspect of their care is exemplary. I'm lucky to have Dr. Milgram as my provider. She's personable, knowledgeable & takes the time to cover all concerns. Wonderful new addition! The front office staff are consistently pleasant, positive & helpful and are knowledgeable helping with insurance questions. There's little waiting in their clean & comfortable waiting room. The online portal is easy to access & you can ask questions and someone promptly answers. I highly recommend all aspects of this practice.

Ed provides the best quality care anyone could possibly ask for. He possesses a vast depth of medical knowledge, but knows when to send his patient to a specialist. He is kind, warm and giving of his time. And his best quality, in my opinion, is that he truly listens and believes what a patient says, a true rarity I’ve found. Ed is a great provider, but above all he is a great person. I consider myself profoundly fortunate that he is my health care provider.

Oak Street Medical has been taking excellent care of me and my family for about 40 years. My recent November 2023 appointment went smoothly from the time they advised me to schedule it, to checking in, to going through the visit, to getting the lab report. Every single staff person was professional and friendly and helpful. Doctor Kirk Jacobson was, as usual, the perfect physician! I am honestly so grateful to be a patient at Oak Street Medical!

Excellent clinic with providers who are skilled and genuinely care. Nurse Practitioner Angela Loveless and her Medical Assistant Amanda deGruyter are both excellent. I've sometimes seen Dr. Jacobson, who is also excellent. Every provider I've seen there has been good. Front office folks are helpful and personable.

Angela and the rest of the staff here are wonderful. They always listen and provide kind, thoughtful, and effective care. I have lived all over the country, but I have never had a medical team so kind and competent. With their help I was finally able to work through several issues that had been a detriment to my physical health for years. I finally feel truly cared for.

Ed is efficient and thorough. I appreciate that he can get so much done in a brief amount of time. He seems to genuinely care, listening to details and addressing my issues. The office has a simple online check-in system as well. i’ve been going to Oak Street Medical for years and I’m grateful to be a patient there

Very quickly seen for a short (my request) visit. Maybe the most efficient car-to-doctor-and-out ever! I have never been happier at a medical facility. Great team.

Ed Valenzuela is the BEST! He isn’t in a hurry. He listens to what you have to say. He does not put you off. He’s always gone the extra mile to get you taken care of. He smiles, has a great sense of humor, full of compassion and he knows what he’s doing. If you are looking for someone to take charge of your health, look no further. You will NOT be disappointed!!!! I’m new to the area then contacted Oak Street Medical and was fortunate that Dr. Liya Milgram was taking new patients. She is professional as well as personable, efficient, knowledgeable and listened with care. I look forward to having her as my primary care physician in the coming decades.

Dr Jenny Bohrman was very present with me & was very caring!!! Wish more medical professionals had her charismatic way! She is a rare find & I am so blessed to have her as my primary care Dr!!!!!!!!!
Plus her staff Jeanna was also very kind & made you feel relaxed!!

All of my interactions, from front-office staff to medical staff, have been wonderful. Any concerns that I have are addressed immediately and effectively, and the only quibble that I have had over the years is the annoyance of Phreesia (the online check-in software) requiring constant re-entry of pedestrian information. Even that is being addressed!

The feeling of being family is very apparent and the honest care for my needs are exceptional. I love these people from the welcome of front desk staff to the close hands on care of my nurse and the sincere understanding of my doctor who has always been so much more than just a doctor. 💕

Dr Kirk Jacobson is the nicest, most personable, funny and knowledgeable professional that I know. I have seen Dr Jacobson for around 20 years now and no matter what I see him for I always leave his office feeling better, whether or not he cracks me up with his awesome jokes or casual conversation or reassuring me and treating my illnes. This guy is a one of a kind person, I don't know what I would do without him in my corner. Thank you Dr Jacobson for all your kindness and help, you are greatly appreciated!

I have never had a better experience with a doctor than each visit with Angela Loveless. She is compassionate, attentive, and I feel heard during our appointments.

If you could select your Dr. after knowing them for 5 years this is where I would go. It can't speak highly enough about Dr Bohrman and her staff. I hate going to the doctor but I look forward to my annual checkup. The whole organization is top rated. The kind of professionalism and compassion you want from your doctor.

Jenny Bohrman always does the best job of listening, attending to detail and is truly empathetic. She also understands more than any doctor I’ve known about our bodies. Great doc!
