Espresso Roma

I’ve been an Espresso Roma fan for 35 years now, since I was an undergrad. I’m glad that it’s still around. The muffins are as great as they were back in the day!

Super nice little coffee spot on campus. Especially love the quaint little courtyard which is perfect for studying or chatting with friends. The atmosphere is very calming and down to earth. The coffee and fresh made pastries are pretty good in my experience, and the price point is very competitive for the area, which is another plus. They have a good variety of pastries including seasonal fruits, and I actually saw the baker carrying fresh bread and pastries from the kitchen to the front of house.
Overall, this place is adorable, well priced, and most importantly friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it if you're looking for coffee and a place to relax in the area.

Love this place! It’s the best coffee shop near campus, with plenty of space for chatting, studying, and relaxing. They’ve got a wide variety of cheap drinks and pastries-I always go for their croissant sandwiches! The workers are all friendly and talkative, and it’s a great place to go if you’re practicing your Spanish. Highly recommend for anyone needing a quick coffee or a study space.

Great Cafe! Ton of yummy pastries and sandwiches. Really good espresso. Great price. Ton of seats. Restrooms are available. We like matcha latte here a lot. Must try!

During peak crunch time my partner and I spend 3+ days a week at Roma. Every time the baristas are funny, helpful, and fast. This is probably our favorite coffee shop to go to in town. They also have the best prices in the area!

The coffee is absolutely delicious. And the fresh sandwiches always hit the spot. The pastries were also were delicious!!!

Right from the start, this place lets you know that it is, in fact, a place. But not just any place, nay. This place hides a valuable secret, for it supplies the life juice that you need to pass your finals.
When you’re searching for your mid-class, gonna-poot-my-pants-unless-I-run-outta-here-right-now diarrhetic of choice, look no further. This coffee tastes so good going in you’re not going to care how it feels on its way out.
There’s also art on the walls, which is neat!

One of my favorite coffee houses. I have been going here for a decade at this point. I highly recommend heading in early when all the fresh pastries are coming out. They smell amazing!

Expresso Roma offers some of the best coffee in Eugene. They also boast some of the lowest prices locally.

Espresso Roma has the best Americano on campus, and maybe even in town. There food and pastries are fresh and hot in the morning, and the atmosphere is lovely. I love hanging outside in their covered patio.

My favorite local coffee shop--friendly, good food, good coffee. I say that it has different "living rooms" of sorts, sectioned off rooms that help with noise reduction for a typically busy place. There's also a nice outdoor spot in the back. I've been coming here since I was a freshman at UO, and still come back when I'm nearby. They're hands down the best coffee shop near campus, and they have tasty pastries too!

For many years, Espresso Roma has been a Eugene favorite. When doing a downtown walkabout I make it a point to stop here and enjoy a pastry and Cappuccino and watch the world go by outside.

As I was walking by I noticed this place. I thought I'd saunter on in and see what the what. The place is sizable. Lots of tables. And chairs to go with those tables. I looked in the pastry case . I saw a lot of fresh baked items. Kind of rustic. Didn't,'t have that French vibe. Good looking Oregon-Style Bakery. You know what? You got that right. These baked goods, the Blueberry Muffin and the Raspberry (Turnover?) or the other Raspberry thing, are delicious. Well baked. Fresh. A wonder of bakery delights. The guys behind the counter are cool and got me what I asked for immediately. (If that is a big deal for you.). I will be back. Zero Gallons of Blood. No heads rolled. The Princess made good her escape of her own accord. Espresso Roma, check it out.

This is one of my go to spots whenever I visit Eugene. Their coffee and espresso is great, but what I really go there for is the pastries. Their croissants are awesome and a quick option for lunch or breakfast. Their scones are really good too! I usually go here at least a couple times before I leave town. I highly recommend this place and will return!

The have really tasty treats at their bakery, and hands down the best people. Every time I've been there I get the nicest experience. Really love the place. I don't go as often because I live far away, but if you are in campus and you're getting your coffee and treats from other places, you should definitely check this place out at least once.

We stopped in to this cafe on a day/night in Eugene. Let me say...it was so good we went back the next day before heading out of town. The americanos were the best I had. I am a typical Starbucks only gal and this coffee beat it! When we went back, we tried a bunch of pastries-the cream cheese scone, mango turnover, blueberry scone and I had a ham and cheese croissant. Oh my goodness...amazing! And, the guys working were super friendly and cool! I wish one would open here in Madison, WI!

My mom brought me here as a child for a croissant and hazelnut steamer. Now, I bring my kid to enjoy treats, local art and whimsical courtyard. Eugene staple.

Best coffee shop in the Eugene area. Friendly staff with incredible espresso and fresh baked pastries. Don't be fooled by the long line, the baristas are incredibly efficient (I usually wait less than 30 seconds for an americano) and talented. Can't recommend enough.

By far the best coffee shop I've been to in Eugene! I've been going here since my freshman year of college, and they've always treated my friends and I right. The pastries are delicious, and I like that it's a big space that is segmented to feel cozy. In the back is an open air patio that is lovely when it's warm out. They're queer and activist friendly, and a good place for Spanish students or native speakers to converse with the staff. I've had dates, work meetings, introverted hideaway, among many other great memories here, and I hope to make more

One of my favorite places to get coffee on campus. Their baked goods are amazing and their coffee is always great. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been coming here for years. It's also a cozy space to sit and do work in.
