AJ's is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. I highly recommend it. If you're from the Chicago area, like the owners Adam & Jake (and me!), you'll definitely appreciate their Italian Beef. It's better than Portillo's. I know, crazy, right?? But, true! The service is always excellent, too. Love love love this place and we eat here every chance we get.

Food is always tasty and fresh. Service has always been friendly as well! One of those places we try to take all our out-of-town friends to. Even with delivery they get a 10/10.

This is a lunchtime favorite! They have a great variety of items on the menu - lots of unique burgers and hot dogs (including one of the best Chicago style hot dogs I've had), as well as a good selection of local beverages. If you get the waffle fries, I highly recommend getting them loaded. Staff are always friendly!

My favorite diner! We love their burgers and sides. It's a college place, so not fancy, but great food and good service. Open late.

This is a great place to eat and have a pint. The Buffalo bleu burger is particularly delicious. I've been here multiple times now and the service is always fast and courteous.

A family member recommended us to this place and I have to say wow! Food is delicious and portion sizes will fill you up!

Aj’s served me one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Shoutout to the manager Brett he was so cool! You know that insane feeling that hits your soul when you have some genuinely good food? That’s what an AJs burger gives you. I never give reviews to any food establishments, but this place definitely deserves it!

Can't remember our servers name but it was a great experience! Food was amazing, beer is great and many options to choose from! I loved that they include the option to buy the kitchen a round, as a former restaurant employee I thought that was awesome! The little magnets at the bottom of the beer glasses are really neat and ours had Halloween stuff on them. You get to keep them when you finish your drink which is super cool! Definitely recommend!

This has got to be one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. You have to try the Boom Boom Burger! Also the cheesecake is to die for!

Great sandwiches! The service was excellent; both friendly and efficient in a busy place.

Food is always great. Their onion ring is on point. The presentation is not pretty but the food does their jobs. They fill you up and they are some quality food.

AJ's has phenomenal food and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Would recommend for anyone and all ages.
I especially like that they have an option for a veggie patty, allowing for anyone who doesn't eat beef to also enjoy the burgers.

Ordered delivery, food arrived nice and warm, and quickly.

Portion sizes were great for the cost, and the quality was great.

I always tend to over-order on my first order at a new place (in case of small portions), and so I ordered a Western burger, loaded classic fries, and onion rings.

The burger was 100% fine, not the best I've had, but perfectly acceptable. The quality of the ingredients was good, just a tad bit on the dry side for my taste (seemed like a lean burger). I think next time I'll try a different burger rather than the Western, but it's probably just personal preference.

The onion rings were some of the best beer battered onion rings I've ever had, the batter was superb, and they weren't way too sweet like some battered onion rings I've had. They also held up remarkably well for delivery.

However, the main reason I'm giving this 5 stars is the loaded classic fries.

Loaded fries are one of my favorite foods on this planet (especially with chili), and AJ's made the best I've ever had. There was plenty of chili and cheese without making the fries soggy, and I never had a dry fry. The quality of the chili was great, and the perfect consistency. The jalapenos on top gave a great amount of spice, but may be a bit much for some people. Overall super balanced, and a perfect portion size for the cost. From now on I'll definitely just grab a burger and a loaded fry.

Best burger in the county. These guys do it right and really care about the community and Purdue. Beer and serious food, with a wide variety menu. You're missing out if you haven't ate and drank here.

5/5/23 Once again, AJ's has proved that they have the best burgers in town! The Greek is still my favorite. A special shout out to Addy! Thanks for listening to my stories. I hope you like "Celtic Stone" as much as I. You made this dining experience much more enjoyable.
If you like a great burger, and Gyros, let AJ's combine the two with the Greek! A one-of-a-kind burger you won't want to miss!

2021 One of the best hamburgers I've had! The "Greek," with gyros meat, tsatsiki sauce and feta cheese is amazing! This is the first time I and my Son have eaten here; it definitely is not the last. Easy to find and well worth the price, which isn't bad! Probably the best hamburger place in town. The waffle fries are good, too! Take a trip to just off campus. Your taste buds will thank you!
