Absolutely amazing experience, I had Lori bring my hair up from a dark brown/black to a light caramel color and she knocked it out of the park and did her thing!! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a really chill and friendly cute professional environment to get their hair done :)

I’ve been going to this amazing salon for 5 years now and love all the hairstylists + the chill and relaxing vibe. I have lots of grey and as far as color goes, I trust them completely. I feel they know me as a person - I never feel like an anonymous number being pushed on the assembly line like I’ve felt with bigger salons.

Jacob! Where have you been all my life?!!! Thank you for somehow reading my mind with very little explanation. I was terrified of losing the cool, natural white highlights that was mixing with my grey. I was bored with my color and kind of felt old. You took my concerns seriously and found a wonderful solution. Semi permanent color that lifts my highlights, shines beautifully and smells great. What a wonderful Tuesday night experience. Came in for the first time for a haircut with Victoria and it was a wonderful experience. Booking was straightforward, space is absolutely gorgeous, and staff is very kind. I got a trim with long layers and curtain bangs and it is honestly one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Really reasonably priced as well - lots of salons charge 100+ for my length so I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for taking such great care of me! I'll be back!

I had the immense pleasure of having Victoria as my stylist. She listened to what I wanted, and executed it perfectly! It’s been a while since I had my hair cut and colored, as I just moved to the area. I had been using Redkin color and wasn't sure if Aveda could come close or blend well to my color. I didn't have to worry! I'm so happy with the cut and the overall result. Sophie and Victoria helped me pick out a few products for my upcoming trip so I can protect my hair and color.

You'll be doing yourself a favor going to this salon and having Victoria and Sophie assist you. Very good experience and you’ll walk out feeling even more beautiful!

It was my first time yesterday at Pure and I am really glad I went. I was going for low-lights (the gray in the front is way too light and shiny for my comfort) and Victoria did a phenomenal job at making it look a darker shade of gray, yet natural and rich. And the blow out was so nice and sleek. I will definitely go back to Victoria at Pure Salon Spa; I came out of there looking like a million bucks :D

Great salon, my hair stylist literally saved my hair from a horrible job by another salon. Now it's the only place I go & recommend to anyone wanting a fabulous look with all natural Aveda products too~

Victoria is an awesome person. Stylist, colorist and I look forward to seeing her every time I need to update my color or get a new cut. I'm excited to visit the salon in their new Mississippi Street location after they move in next week!!!

Pure Salon is my go-to place for when I want my hair to look like I'd pictured walking in. Their stylists listen and work with me. Juliane in particular is a wonderful hair artist, who "gets" my hair needs and always makes me look fantastic. She also is amazing at shampooing hair and making me feel super relaxed (this is a rare talent!) They once rescued my hair from a TERRIBLE home-dye job, and I've been pretty faithful ever since.

Natalie is amazing! Super friendly, provided a quality haircut at a reasonable cost. Will absolutely return my business. And huge brownie points for scheduling me a next-day appointment. Thanks, Pure!

As someone with fine but thick, curly (2B) hair, I'm highly critical of salons/stylists and always feel like a "customer" rather than client in most salons because unless I request a curl stylist they usually don't cut it how I like or I'm left feeling on edge the whole time afraid of what to expect, and I usuallt feel rushed to get through my booking because they don't set aside enough time.

I normally do nothing with my hair and prefer the natural curl so aside from the cut itself, it's hard to find a stylist that is willing/able to style my hair properly or as I wish after my cut. Every stylists/salon I've ever been to have insisted they dry brush it which removes the natural curl and then they just curl it again which I think is silly especially if I don't prefer a salon look. I am usually left either with a fancy "do" that doesn't fit my style or forced to leave with wet hair.

I've hopped around town to different salons because I haven't been able to find one that I just love. This time I went to Pure because it's closest to my house and there wasn't a long wait for a cut. Lori actually asked what I'd prefer and took the time to individually coil my strands by hand and diffuse them out which left me with my natural curl and did a great job cutting it too. She also gives amazing scalp massages. I think I've finally found 'my' stylist. Highly recommend Pure as well as Lori for curly hair! 🥰

Jamie did awesome work! I found my "spot" in Portland for my Aveda products and for quality hair color and cut! It had actually been pretty hard for me to find a stylist in Portland who understood what I wanted (which was surprising to me) but Jamie knew immediately what I was asking for and delivered! I've had a lot of not so great or average experiences with salons in Portland so it feels good to know I now know where to go! I loooove my hair! And I will be back <3

Pure Salon is the best Aveda salon in the Portland and Vancouver area. I just had my hair cut by Lori and she did an amazing job. My hair was so dry and over processed and now it looks and feels healthy again. Thank you Lori for doing such a wonderful job and being such a perfectionist!

Lori is a color genius. She recently transitioned from teaching color to returning to salon work. I hesitate to write this because she is so good and right now she is easy to schedule with. But she is too good not to share it. If you've ever felt like my stylist just can't quite get my color right, you owe it to yourself to see Lori. She's an artist. Salon is scrupulously clean!! A quiet gem.

If you’re looking for Aveda professionals in a relaxing environment, I highly recommend Pure. I was nervous about getting my hair done post-COVID but as soon as I walked in the door, I’m felt at ease. They are asking all guests to complete a health check, sign a release form, wash hands, and practice social distancing while inside. I got a cut and color done by Victoria, who is just the best. I look forward to being a happy returning guest 🙂

Finding a good hair stylist has taken me really long. In fact, one my old hair stylist moved out of state I decided to just trim my own hair instead of finding someone else I can trust. Eventually I got sick of my hair looking unprofessionally cut so I took the side and decided to try someone new.

I love Pure Salon. I'm glad I got my haircut from Devon because she is wonderful. I wanted to update my hair style but needed advice and she gave me just the tips to do what I wanted.
