Pappy’s Grill & Pub

This is probably one of the best burgers I have ever had! 10 out of 10 would recommend coming here. The bartender was awesome too!

Our first visit was this past Saturday. We had a party of 6. A very nice woman came and got our drink orders almost as soon as we were seated. The food was delicious and service was A-1. We will definitely be back. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Thank you Candace. It was a pleasure meeting you.

Hubby and I ate here while passing through/by. Its a bit off the beaten path but 100% worth it. Our burgers were delicious! The only way I could think to beat the current Breakfast burger is if it had bacon on it too. Another reviewer suggested garlic butter buns, that's a good idea too. Amazing food!

Stopped in with some friends the other night for the first-time in many years and was not disappointed. I ordered the Rowdy Ruby with fries (reuben style burger) and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. The burger was good-sized and the fries were nice and crisp. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was great. I recommend revisiting this old-friend.

This is quickly becoming my daughters favorite place to go out to eat and that works for me because the prices are fair and the food is the best!!

Reasonably priced food that tastes great. Try the tenderloin, meatloaf or philly...you won't be disappointed! Good atmosphere as well.

Nice hometown grill and pub. Stopped by tonight for late lunch early dinner I had a Philly that was amazing wife had chicken fried steak that she said was delicious. Our waitress was very helpful and took care of us and even made a few suggestions on what was on the extensive menu. We definitely will be back A+++

Once you look over their menu and actually try something from there, you'll agree that Pappy's is WAY more than a grill & pub!!!

This is quite a lil spot! local favorite for sure. I got the "Ranch hand burger" (Chili cheese burger) Open faced bread on bottom. Very good burger 😋 The Bride got the "The Lunch Box"(Bacon cheese burger w peanut butter) wow I didn't expect that to be so tasty! We will definitely be back to try the many other delicious stuff on the menu here! 🙂

Their gourmet burgers are the best in town. No one comes close. I wish they would have butter garlic burgers and / or fries. Makes you feel like you're at home with the decor, lots of history on the walls, and takes you back several years. Amazing food.
Wife says the crunchy chicken wrap is a have to have every time.

I absolutely loved this place! We traveled from KCMO to Amazonia, Mo for business and stopped in at Pappy’s for a cocktail and lunch on the way home. First of all, how great is Ty, the bartender? Knowledgeable in his job, so easy to talk to about literally anything. Thank you Ty for the hospitality! Hector made my salmon perfectly as ordered and the salad was delicious. The walls are covered in interesting and cute pictures, and the glassware was really neat. Everything was absolutely sparkling clean. I will definitely have to stop in next time I’m in St Joseph on business. ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I got there in between breakfast and lunch but they were willing to make any breakfast items I wanted. I was ready for lunch after reading the other reviews.

I had the All Mac'd up burger with onion rings. It came out quick and hot. I didn't think the Mac was spicy at all but very cheesy! The jalapeno slices were a perfect addition to the sandwich. Make sure to ask for extra napkins because it's messy, LoL.

The onion rings were crispy and perfectly cooked as well.

All in all a great place to eat. I can't wait to try more of their menu.
