Harry's Chocolate Shop

I have been coming to this place since I was 17 with a fake ID. This is one of those places that you absolutely must stop by and add to your life's resume. There is almost always a long wait to get in but it is well worth it!

All of the staff is super nice and the service is second to none.

I will say that this is the only college bar I have ever been to that puts restrictions on what songs you play on touch tunes. But you know what it's their business so they can do what they want :).

This is truly a staple in my life and I hope that you will make it one of yours. Oh and try the catfish y'all ;)

You go to Harry's because it's Harry's. The most iconic Purdue Bar, with absolutely no competition. If you're there in a game day, you'll likely find 3 generations of Purdue Alumni rubbing elbows. Fair bar prices, good bar food, and decades of history. If you want to experience Purdue, you'll wait in the line to have a drink or grab some grub here, or your experience will simply not be complete. You might find my name carved in a table in 1982, and find my son's in a post from 2009. Have fun!

This place holds a special place in my heart. Some of the most memorable times from my younger years. Today was a little more special, not only celebrating my neices 21st birthday and my sister's birthday, but my dad was able to be there. Wheelchair and all. (Along with the rest of my siblings and my mom) We are never promised tomorrow. Cherish every minute you can to be present with the people you're with.

It was so terrific to see the Purdue Boilermakers win while sitting in this iconic West Lafayette landmark. The burger was delicious, and the service was amazing. But the atmosphere was electric during the game!!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

It’s a nice vibe in here, I like their idea of a hidden menu and the food is really good! I love how you this place carries the legacy of all the people and I like the pretty nice antique style in there! Quick service and oh boy, it gets super cramped during weekends! Some think this place is overrated but c’mon it’s a Purdue tradition! And is this really a chocolate shop 🤫, well, go check it out!

I've been here twice, and they've been pretty busy both times, but the service was still great! Food was awesome. Extremely affordable food & drinks!

I haven’t been to Harry’s for a long time, but so happy to be back. Perfect in every way on food, atmosphere, and service. My only negative comment is their website shows menu prices that have clearly not been updated in a while, even though the website shows copyright of 2024. Otherwise, I’ll be back to Harry’s very soon! 😊😊

This place is AMAZING!!! Literally a dive bar with fantastic food. They have a Buffalo sauce they make in house that is second to none. The Malibu chicken sandwich has a horseradish honey mustard sauce that is out of this world. The service is awesome and I cannot recommend this place enough

Legendary campus spot perfect for a pregame beer. Try the wings!

This is one of the places you have to stop by while at the Boiler Maker's country. This is a bar with very diversified options of drinks and foods. Imagine this while having the name a chocolate shop. The staffs are super nice and they always give a free popcorn bag which makes them special and exceptionally Indian in the style of hospitality. This is a memorable element for a visitor like me that Indiana is the country of corn. I had an amazing experience with friends and I absolutely recommend this place for people looking for a very historic and cultural places when it comes to the territory of the Boiler Makers.

Simply one of the bouncers made me almost cry for trying to say hi to one of my friends who I was meeting anyways. Absolutely adore Harry’s and everything about it but the single bouncers absolutely ruined my night. As a woman by myself I did not expect to be shouted at for simply saying hello and meeting with a friend.

Must stop by bar while visiting Purdue. Recommend ordering beer by the pitcher. Great selection of craft and domestics on tap. Price for shots is a little expensive, but hey where can you get a cheap shot?!

Best place to go if you want to go out and have fun! There are always a lot of people there, but I think that makes it more fun! The food and drinks are good, and I would suggest the fried banana peppers as a great drunk food! Also, ALWAYS take your picture outside by the Harry's Chocolate Shop sign!

What can I say that hasn't been said before about this incredible spot? Great atmosphere, great drinks, great service, cool building with an interesting history. A must go for anyone visiting or attending Purdue University.

must try the grasshopper if you are like me and prefer sweet drinks without tasting alcohol!! it’s soo delicious and tastes like a shamrock shake but BETTER. great place with attentive staff but is really crowded all the time so go at an off time for COVID.

A timeless classic that I cannot visit enough. As a Purdue Alum, I spent so many great nights here and as the father of a Purdue student, I look forward to getting back to Harry’s every chance I get. Best college campus bar ever. Period.
