I would give 10 stars if I could. I was in excruciating pain from a broken Molar, I had called every dentist in a 50 mile radius to get an emergency appointment and every dentist was a week or 2 out but Eli Mayes got me in the next day, him and his team worked me in. They were super professional and very friendly. I get horrible anxiety about being at the dentist but they treated me so well, made sure I was completely numbed up before extracting my broken molar. Even with it being broken in half, Dr. Mays was able to get it out in one piece with ease. My dental insurance doesn’t work at his office but I believe paying for someone’s exceptional care and skills is well worth it. Anyone who has experienced tooth pain knows the pain is debilitating and I am so grateful for him and his team having a heart and getting me in so quickly and now I’m back to my usual self. So again I hope Dr. Mayes and his team see this review and get the praise they deserve for going above and beyond when they didn’t have to. Thank you thank you thank you. If you guys ever need an emergency auto detail let me know, I will get you in and take care of you!

I have never had such amazing dental care. First priority is putting the patient at ease. I appreciate all of the hard work and care. I recommended this office to my family and friends and anyone looking for great dental Care.

Awesome Dentist Office! The quality of service from everyone was exceptional, very friendly staff, and the treatment options explained well. Plus, got me in and out quickly – and followed up to make sure everything was still all good. Pain management was also extremely effective. Would definitely recommend these folks!

I am so appreciative of Eli Mayes and his amazing staff! We participated in the Give Kids a Smile event which is a wonderful event for our rural community that can be under-resourced. He and the staff did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed and comfortable (which can be hard in a dentist office and on such an occasion). Jade Grant was so sweet and gentle, she made my son's cleaning a good experience in which he recently told me he "wants to go back" to have her clean his teeth again! I was just wowed by their knowledge and respect. I think anyone choosing a Dentist in Eastern Oregon for their family would be making a right choice with Dr. Eli Mayes' offices.

No dentist visit has changed my fear and loathing of dental visits in over 50 years...until now. From the moment I walked into their office I was treated with genuine smiles, courtesy and professional demeanor. Dr. Gray and her assistant reassured and calmed my anxiety with sincere empathy and understanding of my Dental phobia. Best experience I've had ever with a dental visit.

I had a excellent experience at Eli Mayes Dental office in Island City, OR, today. I was scheduled to have one crown, but between my initial appointment, I severely cracked another tooth, behind my original crown planned repair. While I didn't inform them of my second tooth fracture, Eli and his staff, worked me into their schedule and performed an 3 hour procedure to repair and crown both of my teeth, one being a molar, which requires additional milling. They are top notch and I would absolutely recommend their office to anyone in the area. This is coming from a person that has avoided the dentist for over a decade, for a fear of pain, but Dr. Mayes is cognizant of those apprehensions and is absolutely fantastic at administering anesthesia, it is almost painless. End of story: 2 crowns, for the first time, it was quick, painless and almost enjoyable. I even got to watch my favorite Netflix season of "Meat Eater" during my procedure. That made a HUGE difference. This is a state of the art facility, and you will be happy with any procedure you might need.

Let's start with I will find ANY excuse to keep from going to the dentist. I loathe dental visits ... my mouth is rather sensitive. Enter Christy!! She did an AMAZING job and did not hurt my mouth! This was the first 99% painless visit I've ever had. Definitely going to keep using this place!

Highly recommend this office. Christy is AMAZING. I felt almost no pain for the first time at a dental office. Dr. Gray is friendly and was informative when discussing my treatment plan. The whole office staff is WONDERFUL!!!!

The quickest and easiest visit with Dr. Gray for our kiddo. Could have been lots of tears, but they were happy because things were explained and down quickly.

I like all the staff, they were amazing during our visit ( 21/2 years ago ) except the one younger guy. My daughter got her teeth cleaned for the first time and of course everything was new to her, she was scared and was crying in the room so one of the staff ( girl ) told me that I could go in the room and hold my daughters hand and maybe my daughter would calm down a little bit so I opened the door and the guy who was cleaning my daughters teeth told me that I shouldn’t be in the room ( in a loud voice) and that I should go wait in the waiting room. I didn’t wanna say anything or cause any trouble so I walked out, the girl who I said I could go in was so nice and apologized... The only thing I said to her was thank you so much. For the rest of the staff thank you so much for your amazing service and hospitality!

Not impressed. I should have asked more questions. It was painfu. Ibuprofen and Tylenol in the doses they recommend have made me feel very sick. I was denied further pain management. I was told to just head to the ER if it keeps hurting. Better than an ice skate but will not recommend to friends.
