Buzzard's Pizza and Subs

One of the best pizzas around! The owner is so sweet & kindhearted that he lets me take buckets of kindling to help start my fires!
The crust is exactly the way I like it. I just wish the list of additional toppings was longer and more varied. So happy we have somewhere close to get a pizza fix!

Thunderstorm made us abandon our campsite for a motel - wanted hot food and not a lot of places open - these guys went the extra mile and opened up for us. Food was great - hot and fresh and well-priced NY style pizza. Couldn’t resist diving into it the second we got in the car...

I've been craving a wood fired pizza for such a long time the price is great the food is delicious uses high quality ingredients a lot of love and care goes into the product has a lot of knowledge about the pizza industry it is well worth your time to stop here this is probably the single best fire roasted Pizza I think I've ever had

I asked Jeff in advance to provide 17 pizzas for an event, 10 at a certain time and seven more an hour and a half later. Not only did he come through with perfect timing, but the pizzas were universally loved - as usual. Was the easiest decision ever to stick with a place we know, and turned out to be the absolute best one. Thank you, sir!

Excellent Pizza! No one makes a better pizza like that in this area. Buzzard has a special recipe for his crust and it’s one of a kind. The pricing is adequate. I buy something there every time I drive buy.

Good pizza! Hot and fresh and a good variety of unique toppings. I love the pizza and the friendly and fast service. They have red peppers and parmesan to go. Also had plates and napkins to go.

I had the Garbage Can and Rat Tail Cheese steak both of which were excellent. Thank you for great food and a great experience!

For being essentially a permanent food truck, the pizza is freaking awesome. The menu is hilarious to read while still being clear on what you are getting and there is a really nice area in front to wait for your pizza or subs and to eat at if you want to. I haven't actually tried any of their subs or salads yet but the pizzas are amazing, the ingredients are really good and the crust is the best I have ever had. It is a bit more expensive than the standard fast serve pizza place but it is definitely worth it. Also has a pretty nice view of Beaver Lake which is a plus.

I think this is my new favorite pizza. It was excellent! Since this is mainly a pick up/dine out place don't plan on dining in...but the lake view is beautiful. If your looking for great pizza....Two thumbs up 👍👍

We stopped there today with the family after a field trip to Hobbs state park. Friendly service and delicious pizza! We got the Gobbler and it was great. We'll be stopping by again when in the area.

First time here today before our hunting trip, and had to try the brick oven 🍕. Got the Pig Sooie (I believe it was called) with pulled pork, onions, and spicy slaw on top. Sounded different at first till I tried it and have to say it was a perfectly cooked and delicious pizza.

Excellent food and friendly staff. I’ve tried all the pizzas and subs as well as the sides. The baked beans and potato salad are amazing. As well as the barbecue sauce and Cajun Cole Slaw. Go see what you might want to try. Interesting names on the menu but definitely delicious!

So refreshing to eat good quality food with real ingredients. So glad I stopped for lunch. I had the Wild Boar and it was amazing. Doesn’t hurt that they also have a beautiful view of the lake while you eat! Takes 10-15 to get your food, so you know it’s getting made right!

Delicious pizza for the area. Pizza crust was fresh and one of the pear parts. Ingredients were fresh. The sauce is light and isn’t heavily seasoned. A great complement to the ingredients. The Alfredo pizza was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place.

We didn't plan on having such a long adventure today but we did, and we ended up way out here at this little food joint. The people were nice and there were fun things to do (provided by Buzzards) while we waited for our food. The wait wasn't long and the pizza was DELICIOUS!!!!! The perfect crisp crust and a cheese pull right out of the cartoons. Thank you guys for being there today!! 😊 to quote my kids "this pizza is damn good!"

Jeff serves up the BEST wood fired pizza. No dine in option but you will not find better pizza anywhere.

Fun eating place outside across from the put in at Hwy 12 bridge at lake, really good subs and salads. Will try the wood fired pizza next time. Friendly owner with interesting history. Really knows his stuff. And he delivers after 5:00 PM. Looking forward to next visit.
