Ms. Courtney was so kind, gentle, calming, & super talented when cutting & braiding my daughter’s hair.

We went to Laken our first 2 times here, & we weren’t super impressed. She didn’t talk to us & acted like she didn’t really want to be there, but I’m so glad we tried Courtney. We’ll stick with her as long as we can, & her salon is beautiful & clean! Their vehicle chairs are so much fun. Highly recommend for all your kiddos!

Cool Kids Salon is the best child friendly, parent friendly, amazing customer service salon in this area. you can book your appointment online!!! Courtney the owner is super awesome!!! She has been cutting hair for ten plus years and did a fantastic job with all four of my kids.especially my son who has sensory processing disorder! She is kind and her staff are top knotch!!! i can’t wait to go back for myself, cause she does adults also!!!! go check them out!!

We went to Cool Kids Salon for a first haircut with Ashley and they exceeded my expectations in every way! The style and cut was spot on and it was done in no time. Professional/personable service and of course a kid friendly place. I was so worried about my 1 year old getting into everything and it was not an issue at all for him to wander. Will come back for another cut!

Courtney was fantastic with my one and a half year old! She was patient and friendly from start to finish. She stopped midway through to make sure I was okay with how much length she was taking off, since I had expressed I wasn’t ready to let the baby curls go yet. Highly, highly recommend going to see her!

Incredible place, what an incredible idea for kids! The whole experience was quick and painless with no tears! It was actually recommended to us by Josh at The Gents Place which looks fantastic to! The boys were so happy at both places!
Recommend for those who’s kids are not keen on haircuts! There also were accessories you could buy, toys to play with and to buy, just all great stuff!

Took my 11month old son to get his first hair cut and they did perfect!! The lady’s where so nice and took great care of him and kept him happy there were no tears shed at all. Just an all around perfect experience!!

I took my son here today and we will definitely be back! We always used a stylist for the whole family who worked out of her own shop and then we moved. I used another place that’s geared towards kids and they were nice but the clippers were cheap and loud and my son wasn’t having it. This was definitely so much better! Ashley did an AMAZING job on my son’s hair and was bobbing around us as I tried to help keep him distracted during the process. Her equipment is top quality and very quiet and gentle. She’s kind and patient and showed him everything she used before using it and allowed him to touch and check things out. It’s super clean and well decorated there. There’s toys for kids to play with while waiting and there’s a lot of cute items for sale. I actually purchased some cute shirts for my son before leaving as well and I couldn’t resist adding on one more upon being told they were marked down. My son got a stuffed animal which got lost at the park later today. My husband went back before closing to buy a replacement and they held it for him to pick up and even stuck some free candy in the bag for my little dude. The staff is SO nice and they definitely go above and beyond. We even ran a few minutes late to the appointment due to traffic and they were super sweet and understanding and I didn’t feel like anyone was annoyed with us. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience! Before and afters of my little man!

Courtney was amazing! My son hates getting his hair cut and has had many hair cuts at various places but this was by far the best cut he’s ever had. While my son screamed the whole time still (probably some sensory issues), Courtney was able to give him the cutest cut and was able to do it with confidence and a sense of calmness. She was patient and took the time to understand him while also being quick at cutting. You can tell she’s dealt with these types of kids before and is able to remain calm under stress. Highly recommend cool kids!

Brought my 3 year old nephew and 5 year old niece. I was slightly late but the staff did not make a fuss. I put in a note when making the appointment that my niece loves her curls but needs low maintenance. Her stylist did a great job of telling her how beautiful her curls were and redirecting her from a style that would work better with straight hair to a style that would work better for curls. My very easy-to-frustrate neice absolutely loved her experience. My nephew would not let his stylist blow dry his hair and the clippers gave him goosebumps and made him squirm but she was so patient and he ended up with such a cute big boy cut. At first I didn't think they spent enough time with each child but after thinking on it, kids are not going to sit for a long time anyway so I think it's actually a good system and every time I've seen my neice since her hair has been super curly!

We visited for our kiddo’s first haircut and were so impressed! Our stylist was fantastic, the atmosphere was super fun, and it was spotless (including the bathroom). Lots of things to keep little hands busy. Will definitely be going back!

We took 4 kids here, and we will definitely be back!! My daughter who is 11 is so excited and happy with her cut from Courtney. The boys loved the fun chairs they had for little kids and their cuts were exactly what I wanted ( I don’t know the names of the stylists that cut the boys hair)! Kids are happy, parents are happy what more could you ask for!!

Courtney was amazing with my special needs daughter's haircuts! She was really patient and was able to cut her hair perfectly! It was the first time my daughter didn't cry during a haircut! Highly recommend!!!

I took my oldest son here, last week, for a walk in haircut. Ashley cut his hair that day and she did an amazing job! Normally my husband takes our boys to his barber, but schedules have not been aligning lately. I figured I would try Cool Kids and I am so glad I did! I will definitely be returning for our daughter and both boys when scheduling conflicts are an issue. I was hoping to find someone for our daughter anyway so this worked out perfectly! Thank you Ashley for doing an amazing job!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My son Boone got his first hair cut today and it was the BEST experience a mama could have ever asked for. Courtney was so patient, bubbly and Interactive with him. I would recommend her services to any one with littles. Thank you for such a great first hair cut experience Courtney. Absolutely amazing experience! Clean, fun, beautiful, professional and so kind! My sons first haircut was a little traumatic for him so we waited as long as we could before getting it cut again. I read all the reviews and decided to bring him here, hoping the more kid friendly environment would make this experience better for him. It was phenomenal!! Courtney is such a blessing! She was so patient and kind and took her time to make sure he felt comfortable. She put on Mickey Mouse and let him pick his car and explained everything she did so he wasn’t caught off guard. She was absolutely incredible! After the cut, the other team members played and interacted with him. He had a great time and his hair looks fantastic! I highly recommend! Thank you, Courtney for making this a great experience! We will be back :)

Courtney did an amazing job! I took two of my girls to get their hair cut. One of my daughters does not love getting her haircut, but Courtney was so kind and patient with her and she had a great experience. As a mom I really appreciate when a business takes that little bit of extra time to care for my kids. This salon is now my go to place for all three of my kids!

We live in Springdale & drive to Bentonville because we have had the Best Experience with Miss Ashley. She has been Sweet, Friendly, & Gentle with my son since day one. She always has the kindest smile on her face. We love you Miss Ashley 🤍
