Thomas is fantastic! He is really passionate about helping the community and with the coffee tour he has found a way of involving them. It is not just the coffee tour, he involves local youth to help him prepare the coffee, buys the coffee beans that you grind from a local lady. And on top of that, it is just an amazing experience to pound your own coffee, then roast it and drink it. He is also a guide in the Sipi Falls tour association, so he can show you the waterfalls as well. We had an awesome day with Thomas! Best to call him a day or 2 in advance to make sure he is available

I had a great experience with Thomas. We did a coffee tour experience and a hike through the village to the Sipi falls. He is an honest guy, who gives back to the community when he has customers. He employed two local guys and trains them to farm coffee and do tours. It was a wonderful experience to pound, grind and brew our own coffee and drink it afterward. It is best to call him at least a day in advance, to make sure he is around and available.

Great find in Sipi! We walked from the town center to Thomas' plantation, which was a great insight into life in Sipi. You'll be walking past banana fields and local huts and kids will be sure to follow you around!

Once at Thomas', he will gladly show you around his plantation and answer all your many questions about coffee. Once you're all set, you'll go through all of the different steps and make your own brew, from scratch!

Thomas is a fantastic character and is working hard to build up his own business. Be mindful of that. Thomas also warned us that other people along the way are trying to take advantage of his success, show you around his property illegally and cash in the profits. Be careful.

I was with Thomas for two days, and he is an amazing guy. We hiked through the Sipi Falls area, and the views were amazing. Roasting and tasting your own coffee is also a unique and fun experience. Thomas operates independently. Thats why he can offer something unique. Give him a call, and you can discuss every detail of your expectations with him. Thomas will try to make your memories unforgettable!
(Try to give him a call at least one day in advance).

The Coffee Tour with Thomas was great! We were very happy, that we've found him via Google Maps.
Thomas loves what he does and also seems to be really inspired by it. He explained and showed us the process of making coffee step-by-step...actually we really made our own coffee by ourselves. It was very authentic and we had a lot of fun! Thumbs up!!

A very authentic view into village life and traditional coffee processing and preparation. Thomas owns a very tiny Arabica plantation and can answer many of your questions around coffee cultivation in this area. He is an honest person and eagerly working on improving his small business. He also offers the possibility to camp in his garden with basic bucket shower and drop toilet.

Thomas is a great guide and does great work for the community around. He showed us all about coffee plant, how to harvest, roast and grind it. He is very knowledgeable and helpful and can also give recommendation for other activities in sipi. Thank you :)

We accidentally saw the sign as we were walking around the village and knocked the door. Thomas was very friendly and passionate about what he was doing. He walked us around the plantation where we could see the coffee plants which he planted a long time ago as he was a child and afterwards he showed us the whole process of making coffee in a traditional way and at the end we could drink the coffee that we "made". He even gave us what was left for taking home. You can also buy more organic coffee there. We enjoyed it alot!

If you're interested to do the tour I'll recommend you to just go there and knock the door (you'll see the sign on the street) or call him. They're some people down the road who offer tours but just take you to a plantation and apparently take the money and don't pay anything to plantation owners, who do the whole job.
