What an amazing place!
The beach has the most powdery sand on whole Zanzibar. The lush garden, the 2 pools, the spacious bungalows with so many small details (mini private pool, swing bed on the terrace) etc. All very cozy!
But then you go to the restaurant and it gets even better: best breakfast choices, tasty lunch snacks and fabulous dinner. I will be back, thank you so much Sevi team!!!

We had the luck to come across this hotel while staying at another nearby resort and we wished we had stayed here instead. Beautiful location, wonderful view on a breathtaking cove and delightful interior design. Exceptional cleanliness for the standards of the area. The restaurant had the best meals we had on the island, the staff was extremely polite, welcoming and evidently more trained than the average waiters you can find in Zanzibar. Food and drink selection is top notch, we even got a freshly caught fish cooked especially for us thanks to the manager’s honest friendliness, and it ended up being the highlight of our holiday. We will definitely stay here next time!!

This place was so amazing! We had only planned to stay one night but cancelled our other place to stay 2 more. It’s a gorgeous place! The staff was amazing and so friendly. We asked for a couple things outside of what they normally do and they always made things happen for us. Anything we asked, no problem. The food was the best food we’d had all week. The general manager Fabian was so welcoming and kind. He came and got to know us at dinner and even let my husband use his spear fishing gun. Eddy at the front was the best! He has a big smile always and just wants to make your stay wonderful. We weren’t leaving until later after check out and they accommodated us to hold our things and be able to shower in another room. He helped us book dive excursions and arrange a driver to take us to stone them before our flight. I can’t say enough good about the place! The beach is fine white sand and was paradise!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Sevi hotel for a week end of February/beginning of March, and had such an amazing time! The hotel complex is small, quiet, adorable, and the staff is very kind and friendly. We felt very welcomed!

We booked bungalow right at the beach (Ocean Front bungalow) and it was absolutely wonderful - entire bungalow beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, wooden porch and swing/hammock with stunning ocean views. Housekeeping was amazing as well, doing truly great job - every single day, we would find fresh flowers on our bed - just beautiful!

We had some issues with our A/C, however this was handled and resolved as soon as reported - the receptionists as well as the maintenance staff were all attentive and acted inmediately.

We visited the island at time when there was some power cuts going on - when we were informed about this issue during our check-in, we were a bit concerned, especially afraid of not having working A/C throughout the night. However, this never happened - the electricity was always back before the bed time, so no unnecessary sweating happening ;)! One day the power cut took longer than anticipated, however this was fine, as we got a latern delivered to our porch as a back up solution until electricity would be back. Very thoughtful!

The beach is lovely, with white sand, however it is public - this means that it is used on daily base by the local fishermen, playing kids, as well as sellers. At times it was a bit disturbing to always have someone approaching us offering trips/souvenirs/items, as we like our peace, however it was manageable. One just needs to make it clear that he is not interested, and they back off. We also did a bit of snorkeling, and we absolutrly loved it! Just a few meters from the shore, the corals area starts, where you can experience quite some marine life - there really is lots to see! For snorkeling, however, I highly recommend to wear water shoes, as there is lots of sea urchins.

The meals at Sevi are simply absolutely delicious! We loved the variety the hotel offered - there was different lunch and dinner menu every single day, and therefore always a chance to try something new out.
We had also the opportunity to enjoy special Swahili dinner, which was handled as buffet - the food, again, absolutely tasty! We really enjoyed tasting the local cuisine.
For breakfast, there was always basket with fresh pastries served (very yummi!), together with a fruit plate. In addition, there was also menu with salty & sweet meals to order. Fresh juices and teas highly recommended!

Last but not least, I would like to mention that our special thanks goes to Salum & Petro, who were working at the restaurant - our stay at Sevi was spectacular, however these two guys made it truly unforgettable! Without exaggeration: we have never experienced such a level of friendliness, kindness, and hospitality, as we experienced with the two of them - thank you very much for making this place even more special!

The road to the hotel is rough and bumpy but when you pass through the gates you enter a little paradise. Breakfast is wonderful and all the staff is super friendly. The hotel is situated at the beach, which is not private so be prepared to interact with locals who are trying to sell you souvenirs, tours or massages.

If you are looking for a superb hideaway, we can highly recommend this one. We spend a couple of nights there and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the awesome food and service and the large and stylish rooms.

Had an amazing stay here.
Room is perfect, as well as the cleaning of it.
Everyday they put fresh flowers on your bed and decorate it differently each day. They come again in the evening to prepare the room for sleeping.

Breakfast is simply amazing, fresh bread as well as fresh pastries that changes everyday. Coffee is amazing!

As per dinner, they have a snacks menu where you can get club sandwich and other bites which are delicious!
The fancy menu on the other hand it is not that well performed I guess since the prices are really high but the cooking of the product was not so well done.
Cocktails are really good!

The location of the hotel is perfect, it has a beautfiul beach and a few restaurants you can go walking.
It is far away from everything but Zanzibar is a big island and with the roads they have you can expect to spend a lot of $ on taxi.

If I ever go back to Zanzibar, I would definetly choose this hotel again & of course I will recommend to other people.

Lovely bungalows right next to the beach. Garden ones does not have a view on water, instead they have an extra feeling of privacy. Staff is very service minded and they made us feel extremely welcomed. They always went an extra mile and created an unforgettable experience! You have to keep in mind it is quite an open housing and hence you need to expect little nature around you (Lizards, cats, lots of sounds from surroundings like birds and so forth.. they do provide you with ear plugs !). Breakfast and dinner are great, mainly when they have a special evenings , like barbeque night. It can feel a bit pricy, yet considering it is a closed resort it is still adequate. Worth the visit if you like to experience more natural style of living.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at SeVi Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar, and I can confidently say that it was a truly remarkable experience from start to finish. This boutique hotel nestled along the pristine shores of Zanzibar offered a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and personalized service that left an indelible mark on my vacation.

Arrival and Welcome:

Upon arriving at SeVi Boutique Hotel, I was immediately struck by its breathtaking beachfront location. The first thing that caught my eye was the mesmerizing turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and the powdery white sand stretching as far as the eye could see. We were warmly greeted by the staff with refreshing coconut water, a fragrant towel, and the friendliest smiles. Check-in was seamless, and they provided us with all the necessary information about the hotel and its amenities.

Accommodation:

We stayed in one of their oceanfront suites, and the moment we entered, we were blown away by the view. The suite was spacious, elegantly decorated with local Zanzibari touches, and featured a private balcony that overlooked the pristine beach. The attention to detail in the room's design and amenities was impressive. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sound of the waves crashing just outside our window was the perfect lullaby.

Dining:

SeVi Boutique Hotel takes pride in its culinary offerings, and it did not disappoint. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delectable dishes, blending local flavors with international cuisine. Fresh seafood was a highlight, and I still dream about the lobster tail I had there. The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight with an array of tropical fruits, pastries, and made-to-order dishes. Dining by the beach at sunset was a romantic experience we'll cherish forever.

Service and Staff:

The true gem of SeVi Boutique Hotel is its staff. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the level of service was consistently exceptional. The staff members were not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, whether it was arranging an island tour, making dining reservations, or simply ensuring our stay was comfortable.

Activities and Amenities:
SeVi Boutique Hotel offers a wide range of activities to make your stay unforgettable. We took advantage of the snorkeling and diving excursions, where we explored the stunning coral reefs and marine life that Zanzibar is famous for. The hotel also has a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean, perfect for lazy afternoons. The spa services were top-notch, offering massages and treatments that were incredibly relaxing.

In conclusion, SeVi Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It's a place where luxury seamlessly meets the natural beauty of Zanzibar, and where you're treated not just as a guest, but as an honored friend. I can't recommend this boutique hotel enough for those seeking a truly unforgettable and indulgent escape. Every moment spent at SeVi Boutique Hotel was a memory I'll cherish, and I can't wait to return to this piece of paradise.

We had an amazing experience at Sevi boutique hotel. Big thanks to the whole staff who made our stay even better.
The food was excellent, we stayed 7 days and the menu changes everyday so you will never get bored and eat the same thing.
The bungalows are very spacious which is a big plus.
Do not hesitate to book this hotel if you like intimacy. We will definitely book again if we happen to go back to Zanzibar.

An outstanding Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar. It is located in a privileged location, and has direct acces to 2 diferent beaches. The rooms are enormous, with private pool, and cozy decoration.

The staff here is very friendly and always greet you with a smile.

The 3 pools are great, so is the restaurant area.

A couple things to mention: it is far away from major tourist spots (which is good for me) bit has the Mnemba atoll right in front which is a plus.

The only negative (just a little detail) is that food could improve in quality. Breakfast is awesome, so as the easy snacks you can order all day. But dinner food was a little bit under the overall quality of the Hotel.

9.5/10 would highly recommend.

Stayed there for 6 days for our honeymoon it was beyond amazing, loved the privacy and how quite and calm the place was. Looks better in real life compared to the pictures. If you're a newly wed I would recommend asking about the honeymoon package its such a steal, we had an amazing private romantic dinner by the beach. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was nicer than ever and very cooperative. The tours prices were reasonable. Definitely a honeymoon destination that I will recommend to everyone visiting Zanzibar. Special thanks to Eddy, Goodluck and Ilaria for being very helpful throughout our stay.

I booked a room for one night for a surprise romantic night with my boyfriend since we had our main hotel in Paje, we lovedddd this hotel! The garden style is gorgeous, they upgraded our room which had the ocean view, the decoration of the room was so goregous and the private pool was bigger than i thought. It was prettier in real then the pictures 😍 the staff was amazing, helpful and so welcoming. The food was very good and fresh, such as a bbq diner we had with private concert by the pool.we will go back to this hotel for our next trip in Zanzibar but for a full week indeed!!

The best I could've imagined! Amazing location, beautiful bungalows with private pools, everything neatly clean, great food with a lot of variety and vegetarian options, but above all, the team makes your stay unforgettable. Ben and Fabian always have nice tips about the island, offer great tours and always make sure that all your wishes come true. Also the entire staff is as friendly as can be. Thanks a lot for the wonderful time at this place! I'd love to visit again one day.

5 stars, plus some! We had such an amazing stay here. The rooms, view, food were incredible but the staff really made our trip. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. We decided to splurge on a bottle of wine for dinner to celebrate our anniversary the next day (since we were leaving paradise on our actual anniversary), well the next morning we were greeted with the most beautifully decorated table AND a cake! We couldn't believe it! We were blown away with their kindness and detail to making our anniversary a special day. Will definitely be the anniversary to remember.
