人很少，環境很棒，讀書讀累了還可以看看外面的樹木，從二樓路口進去後，下到一樓有有插頭的座位。還有很多看起來酷酷的書，總之是個舒服的地方

藏書豐富，對人文科系的學生而言，比華而不實的總圖要好得多~~雖然地下室書籍的灰塵和霉味總讓我過敏XD 但還是在這挖到許多寶藏~

文史書籍豐富，有大量的明清檔案和近乎完整的清代內務府檔案；今天更尋到不少的日本平安、鐮倉時代繪卷，可說是相當難得。比較可惜的是近代畫家畫集只有菱田春草一人。

所蔵している言語学の図書の量はおそらく台湾三位だ。国立国家図書館と台湾大学図書館しかここがこえられない。
日本統治時代の図書も多い、総督府文書とか、旧台北帝国大学の書類とか、台湾銀行のデータなどの貴重な資料が見つけられる。言語学、歴史学、あるいは文化研究学部の生徒にとっては、さすがに便利でしょう。
