Hotel Royal Hsinchu

Nice hotel located in the downtown, hotel have many facilities like swimming pool, pool table, switch, gym. It’s a pity that swimming pool was under construction when I went. The hotel is luxury but also can feel it’s a little bit old. The street nearby have many food can eat. The breakfast was very good!

I lost a diamond earring right before I checked out and I didn't notice that until afternoon. But when I called the hotel, front desk helped check with house keeping and found it. And they were able to arrange the hotel shuttle to drop it off at TPE Hotel Royal for me to pick up the next day. I'm very happy with all of the staffs there that helped me with my lost and found item. I feel bad that I didn't get to thank them in person. I hope this note will get to the right people that helped me. And I truly appreciate what they've done.

We really appreciate the service we got. We had a wheelchair accessible room because my husband uses a wheelchair. If the shower was just a little bit bigger, it would have been perfect.

The space between the toilet and shower was a little tight and my husband could use the shower only when part of the shower chair was outside the shower. And it would help if there was an option to mount a handle for the shower head lower so he could reach it without my help.

Because we were traveling together, I could help him, but it could be difficult for someone in a wheelchair traveling alone.

AC is a bit noisy but if they could check that, it would be 10 score. Breakfast is good. Coffee is not good but it is fair in a buffet type. It would be nice to have a different type of coffee machine for expresso. Rest is very good

A little disapointed with the payment at check in. My card was ok but was rejected in two machines due to inccorect operation by the receptionist. I verified this with my bank. I had to use my normal visa card to pay for the stay.
The hotel staff is amazing and really good service! Thank you! Im very pleased with my stay. A bit sad that the pool was under refirbishment, but ok that is my unluck.

Great place to stay in Hsinchu. The hotel is centrally located, you have all the necessary stores and several restaurant options in walkable distance.
Rooms are large and very spacious. If you book a double bed room a family of 3-4 can easily stay.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have necessary amenities like swimming pool, gym, spa etc. The breakfast spread is also very good.

Very comfortable, spacious, well maintained rooms. Excellent WiFi. Friendly service, especially concierge organising taxis in the morning. Plenty of convenience stores nearby. Some dining options in the hotel, but also only a short walk to other restaurants.

The hotel was very beautiful with large rooms and helpful and kind staff. The food at the restaurants was fantastic. The pool and hot tub really nice too. I only wish I had known they had a sister hotel up north and I would have booked it instead of the place we stayed in the Beitou District.

No complaints - staff were amazingly courteous, helpful and many cases went out of there way to help.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and more so very quite so getting rested and work, no brainer

Good experience but sometimes the internet will temporarily off several minutes, which might let connection feel not good.

Customer service are very good.
Elevator is a little slow. Waited for a ling time during busy hour.

Totally enjoyed my stay at the property. Super friendly staff, extremely accommodating.The property was extremely clean, the rooms were spacious and had every amenity a traveller would need on a vacation or on a business trip. The food spread was good but expected it to cover more vegetarian cuisines.
Overall I had a very pleasant, comfortable experience at the hotel over my 8 days of stay and this will definitely be a strong recommendation to anyone who plans to visit Hsinchu.

Hotel Royal is one of the hotels I've visited that have all the amenities that one desire in a hotel accommodation: shaving cream, long open tables, spacious, laundry, simple snacks etc.

almost everything was very good - the room was extremely comfortable (although I couldn't work out how to turn the lights off without removing the keycard). It would have been nice to have a way to make coffee. Breakfast excellent.

Pool room and massage end at 10:30pm- quite early. Will be nice to play pool till midnight since people get back to hotel from dinner around 9-10pm.

Massage pricing $3600 TWD for 60min is too high while its 1500-2100 TWD for 2 hours outside.

The room TV selection is limited- should have pay per view new movie and adult shows.

For breakfast buffet, should let customers eat ice-cream.

I was comfortable during staying your hotel. Room/employee/Breakfast are excellent. However, the speed of Wifi is slow and #of elevators aren't enough. That is why I don't rate overall score as "Excellent"

Hotel Royal is an incredible hotel in Hsinchu. I was there for a dinner for work and decided to book a room for the night to make it an experience. The buffet dinner was outstanding. A rich variety of food was available to suit any palate. The room was large with a comfortable King bedd. Every need was anticipated and met from an iron in the closet to a large walk-in shower. There was a large work space and plenty of storage for guests on extended stays. It was a great value for the price.

Helpful staff all around. The team even help to pack breakfast meal for us well before the restraint is open as we have to leave for the airport at 6am. Overall great service and am very happy with all the help given.

The staff at the Royal have always been very professional and the guest rooms are always clean and tidy. I appreciate your outstanding level of service and look forward to my stays with you.
