Green World Ecological Farm

Fantastic park! We loved our time there. They have an amazing selection of outdoor activities including alpaca, rabbit, chicken, and deer encounters, bird and sloth shows, and many more! The nature reserve part is one of the best in the world we’ve seen so far. Highly recommended for anyone including families with kids.

My favorite animal-related place in Taiwan. Why yes, I did get free vouchers to come here from the Taiwan government but I would gladly pay admission to come again. Ironically this is a private organization so you can see it is no Hsinchu zoo.

I love the release of the alpacas from their animal pens even though I know it's dangerous. They come bounding around and are absolutely out of control. I bought a stuffed animal alpaca with the intention of taking a photo of it with the real one. The employees are so nice and even let me take the stuffed alpaca out of its packaging to examine the quality. Later, they even switched it out with another alpaca doll that they thought looked better. Btw love the tropical button-ups uniforms that the workers are wearing. The souvenirs are decently priced. I also bought a rainbow 🌈 alpaca purse that can't hold anything.

There are nice animal shows. I happened to be sitting underneath the exact place that a sloth was gnawing on some vegetables for one of these. What a delight!

Some are other highlights are the pelicans (elegant S-shaped birds), the rabbits, and the chickens. There are also very pretty paths if you want to take a nice strolls. This is basically a zoo and not a preserve pushing a green agenda as the name suggests. They also revamped the place in the last couple of years and there are now binoculars and other new things.

The only downside is that the food is terrible and expensive but no matter.

Recommend to visit on a weekend to avoid crowds, went on a Monday and the place had very few guest so my visit was very peaceful. A lot of the animals here are free roaming, highlights would be the alpacas whom are given 3 timings to roam around a large grassy area near the entrance. Animals and plants here at well taken care of which was really nice, take note timings for shows and animal free roaming are up to 3pm so best to come early. This place is also very out of the way deep in the mountains and walking will be challenging as the road in is long and full of steep climbs, best to take a private transport in like Uber.

We always love going to places where we can be up close to animals and Green World did not disappoint. In winter it was a comfortable 65F. We especially liked the aviaries, and they have more than one, where various birds fly free and unafraid of people. Not just birds, all kinds of critters from sloths to monkeys (who grabbed my camera) to turtles to lizards and adorable alpacas. But there also abortorial wonders. The water plant place and rainforest sky walk were magnificent. Not enough time to visit all. Truly an enjoyable day for the whole nature-loving family!

Besides the super close animals that we could even touch them,the alpacas wandered around the grassland were super adorable!
There are two ways we can make a tour of the farm,one for health and the other one for convenience.In other words,we can walk for free or pay for a ride.
Finally,there are a lot of fierce mosquitoes,remember to bring the mosquito repellent!

One of the best places we have been to so far, and the only one with such a diverse type of animals. It was great, animals well taken care of, friendly staff, they even have pelicans! Plan for a whole day trip though, if half day not enough to cover the whole park.

Very nice park. Visited during the weekend. The ticket counter opens at 8.30AM, and the ticket costs a 380NTD per person. Abundant space is available for parking, and parking is free of cost.
It will rush during weekends and public holidays, so it's better to come in the morning. Staff are very friendly and polite. They speak English as well. English map and audio guide is also available.
There are many restaurants available inside the park, and some of them have vegetarian options also. Restaurants are a bit overpriced.
Overall, you can enjoy the whole day with family and friends. Kids will love the atmosphere and animals, which are roaming freely inside the park. Highly recommended place to visit with family and friends.

Amazing place. My kids loved it. Tons of animals. Great size and many food options. You can tell it's looked after and maintained with love. The Macaw show was amazing.

Great for day of outdoor natural fun. Some hiking, exploring & learning about animals, birds, reptiles, insects and plants. Various food and souvenir shops. Take your time and enjoy! To make it worth the time and money, plan to spend 4 hours or more there.

Nice place for kid education and family pleasure

A fun zoo and ecological center. Not a hotel as Google maps suggests. Lots of great exhibits layed out like a big park. You can get very very close to the animals, but there are no places to touch or pet animals. Food options are okay, bring your own if you are picky. Didn't see a water fountain or machine anywhere so don't forget to pack some. There is plenty of shade but the park is mostly outside.

More like a Zoo than a farm actually.
Quite big and we'll structured, with a recommended path to visit the whole place.
A lot of different area mixing animals and plants. Perfect for kids but also entertaining .

You can see a lot of interesting things ; Carnivorous plant, butterfly garden, bird park, Llama, etc
For what I see, they maintain the park pretty well
It'a easy to walk through all of the park by following the tourist route
The food there pretty expensive, but it's acceptable since it's in the tourist area

You can take 5700 bus from HSR Hsinchu Station, then take the park shuttle bus

nice place for kid, entrance fee around 380 and this place can drain kids battery. some show available at certain time. restaurant is also serve decent food. really recommended

A great place to come with kids. Open field for animals to run/live surroundings you.

Worth to spend 2-3 hours here. Highly recommended to join their regular instruction at 11AM.

I like nature.thats why I like this place,very relaxing in body ,mind and eyes because of the green color of nature ,and fresh air.this place is good for family,children and friends to hang out,for hiking,walking,sight seeing and picnic..

Nice place, has English narrator systems for most Animal description, great for kids and has Animal show too
