Service was fast they're allowing to leave you're baggage for early check-in and stroll around Ximending

Location wise a block away from Ximending night market , 7-11, family mart , known restaurants , milk tea , funko pop store and more

The building itself has its own arcade , toy store , restaurant , atm , cinema , etc.

Location is perfect. Just cross the street and you are at the Ximen Street Market already. They clean your room daily unless instructed otherwise. Their staff are hospitable. They have water fountain where you could refill your water bottles.

Highly recommend! Close to everything eg. food, shops, convenience store, MRT, bus station and more. Very spacious. Great location. Easy access with direct elevator from a shopping center. Our room doesn’t have window which is considering normal for Taiwan and Hong Kong. The staff are very helpful and speak well english.

We’d won the lucky prize from the airport for 5,000TWD (accommodation voucher) but it can’t be used here as they are not participated in the program. The staff, however, help us with information for where we can use the voucher!

Decent hotel for the price. Great location. Do not expect too much and you will get a satisfactory stay.
Good: Location is great for food and shopping. A few minutes walk from ximen mrt station. So it's pretty easy to reach the hotel by train from the airport. Room was a good size and adequately clean. Didn't interact much with the staffs but they were very polite. Daily housekeeping and free water.

Bad: room had a slight musty smell which was still bearable for me. Can get noisy at night from traffic and pedestrian noises. Room looks old and there are peeling wall panels. There are steps inside the room which may not be suitable for young children or elderly. Step to the bathroom is uneven due to the flooring which seems to be coming off. Bathtub is not usable. Ants in the room.

For a hotel at $50 during the August period, this is so worth it.

The basic amenities are all provided. There is a safe and a small area for hanging clothes. The room is considered spacious for 2 person. I like that the toilet and shower is also sort of separated so it’s not wet everywhere.

We stayed on level 6, the first room from the concierge and going out to refill water is convenient. They also provide dispenser of other drinks like coffee and soya bean, all complimentary.

Location wise, it is still convenient and a walkable distant to the ximen exit 6. Within a business/shopping building, you can find food at the basement and arcade at the top level.

You really have to read all the reviews to find this place. So to us it was very easy to find and the taxi driver also told us where to go. Our room is on the 6th floor right next to the Reception area. The elevator is just there and you can get hot drink just by the Reception. To us, everything is closeby. The room is not that big, but big enough for us to put 4 luggages on the floor. Slippers and all toiletries are provided and there is a small fridge and kettle. The only prob is the shower head that cannot be adjusted, so when you shower, the water only goes to 1 direction and the bathroom will be wet. Also, the towels they provide have holes and stain on them. Shouldn't give these to customers. Although they provide 1 floormat, eventually it will be soaking wet. So we had to use the hand towel to wipe the water. Beds are fine and comfy to us. We don't have issue with it. The WIFI is another issue, extremely slow!! In the end, my family had to use hotspot to connect.
The location is great and it is inside a shopping mall. So for those who like shopping, this is great ! But unfortunately, not many places for breakfast.

Friendly and professional staff, processes your bookings in less than 5minutes if you have your documents ready during check in! The reception on the 6th floor has coffee machine and hot/cold water dispenser for hotel guests to use too, which is honestly a big plus! Affordable and clean rooms with good wifi connection too!

Strategically located. Very near to ximending. Hotel is also within a mall. Gundam lovers will love it here as they have some good prices here. There's eateries in the basement and I love their chicken drumstick rice. There is also an arcade and karaoke in that same building. We have been staying here since our second trip to Taipei and has always been staying there ever since for all our trips there. Staffs are super friendly too.

5 stars for the price and location. The rooms are basic and clean. Good shampoo and shower gel provided in the bathroom. The hotel is just next to the the shopping street in ximending and a few minute walk to ximen metro station. There's also water and drinks dispenser at the reception where you can freely take some hot coffee, chocolate or soya drinks. Receptionists are polite and on checking out, one of them was kind enough to advise me it's a shorter walk to the airport express train from Beimen station compared to Taipei station.

We went to Taipei last week as a group of senior citizens. We stayed at Ecfa Hotel Wannian. We were overall satisfied- the location, transportation and food was accessible, there's a hot&cold water dispenser and coffee and chocolate machine in the lobby, room was spacious and the front desk Mr.管 was very friendly and helpful. Especially he holds the elevator for the seniors to get in. I'm definitely going back for this hotel in my next trip.

Stayed over here at ECFA Hotel Wannian. Front desk were helpful, friendly and ready to entertain visitors. They were able to help us to look for taxi. Location was convenient and accessible to needs. Room is spacious.

The price is affordable and the location is superb. Ximen Ding shopping street is a minute distance and MRT is just 5 mins distance from the hotel. Room is quite spacious, wifi and breakfast provided.

Convenient budget hotel right in the middle of Ximending. For family room, there are steps to main door and toilets which is not so favourable for young kids.

Good service and breakfast is provided. If raining outside, can requested raining coat from the counter. Highly recommended.

Hard to beat the price! I have fond memories of this hotel -- they helped make my visit to Taipei great.
