The place is famous for its natural landscape. The sea view is magnificent and amazing as well. However, the wind is very strong in winter.

Nice seascape, vast land area for a nice walk around. If you are up for it, you can scramble across the rocks to the end of the arch by the sea, watch out for falling rocks during windy days. The whale rock is an arch shapes rock eroded by the sea, whole not extremely rare to see on coastal areas around the world, this seems to be very popular with tourists.

A arch shape cave at the cliff side formed from erosion. Locals say it was form my a whale bumping into the rock causing a massive hole.

It was a very nice calm and quite environment. Do visit the museum nearby to get more information about the different types of rocks. And please eat anything nearby by 2-3pm as most of the restaurants close. All of them serve same dish though.

When I went there it was windy and view was spectacular. Sound of the sea was so pleasant. A must place to visit when you go penghu. Also there is light house have a quick look at it.

This unique geological structure makes the area feel like a Waschmaschine when there is wind. Also sand hitting you. Great! Went on 111/10/24,when winds were 50+ km/h

Don't forget to also turn around and look at all the interesting rock formations and geological features around. If you look closely you'll see lots of little crabs living in the wall next to the path where everyone is walking.
