Yongan Fishing Harbor

So glad I took the trip today, this place will shut down for the whole entire month of November and will re open in December. Lots and lots of food to choose from as well as drinks definitely much much more then 竹圍漁港 …

I loved this place! It is one of the places I can come everyday regardless of the weather. I went there with my friends on weekday evening and the weather was not the best, but I could imagine how beautiful it could be when the sky is clear and not too hot. This place is free of charge, but you have to pay for parking if you bring your car. Other than that, you can enjoy fresh air, panoramic view of the open ocean, waves, nature, small hike, phototaking and shopping for seafood. There is a small local seafood restaurant closeby (I forgot the name), I highly recommend it! Very fresh, great prices/value and the owners were very friendly and welcoming

Very busy fish market auction happening. Plenty of restaurant and food stalls. Yummy!

The fresh fish and the food court are very suitable for taking a walk and eating some seafood.

There's many restaurants to choose from are basically reasonably priced and the seafood is fresh. You can also enjoy watching the sunset

Was at the Sea Breeze Marathon in Taoyuan on April 9, 2017. I ran in the 10km and came in 5th (Jon). My wife Candy also ran in the 10k and got 4th. The course was longer than 10k as it was 10.6km. Nice course that was all flat. This is a very nice area for running or biking.

I love how a place can make you feel relax, Its been awhile since I felt this emotion. "Peace". Since childhood i am always fascinated how beautiful the sunset and sunrise it is indeed one the most beautiful creation of God and guess what you can see it all at Yongan Fishing Harbor. Open everyday around the year, great sunset view, well organized fish market, big parking lots. Prices are really reasonable and affordable.

Love buying the local fish snacks here! They have excellent fish floss and other healthy seafood snacks. There are some great outdoor low-key restaurants and drink stands. Everything is less here than Taipei.

Great place to visit during weekend.. clean and very neat. Convenient for wheel chairs. Many selection food to chose from seafood and others dishes.

Has a big fish market and many Taiwanese style restaurants. Many choice of food, snacks and drinks. A bit crowded though. I was on a sunny winter weekend. The food is nominally priced

I come here sometimes to take a walk at the seaside and to satisfy my craving for seafood.

A surprisingly pleasant place to visit. This is a working fishing harbor, with beaches in both sides. You can eat or buy nice seafood at the fish market. The Hakka museum at the other side of the harbor is an great piece of architecture, and had an cool interior and an interesting exhibition of local Hakka culture and nearby tourist spots. Love it.
