The Westin Tashee Resort, Taoyuan

Excellent hotel! Way better than I expected! After a beach cleanup, my family needed a place to stay for the night and we found this! Amazing atmosphere, great breakfast, lot of facilities for children and even for adults. They have an outdoor and indoor pool! I woke up at 5 am for some me time. This location is perfect for family vacations. Kids love this place! I will be back! Probably the best hotel I've stayed in Taiwan when traveling with family.

Isaac Hung at the front desk of the Westin made our stay memorable with his exceptional service. His assistance with our luggage, the generous room upgrade for my Platinum Elite membership, and the personal touch of delivering check-in wristbands and a welcome gift directly to us were notable highlights. However, the room had a noticeable sewerage smell and cleanliness issues in the bathroom, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. Isaac’s professionalism truly stood out, making our visit special despite the room concerns.

This hotel is a beautiful gem. We decided to come here for our last hoorah in Taiwan, after living here 8 years. From the moment I booked the hotel the customer service has been EXCEPTIONAL. They did their best to meet all of my requests, which were many, since it was our first time traveling with a baby. There was a minor issue at the beginning, but the management did what they could do to make it right. The rooms are beautiful and so spacious. The outside pool is gorgeous(although the water was too cold which was a huge bummer). Not the hotels fault though. Thankfully their indoor pool is also beautiful.
Also, as a foreigner I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet options. The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of options, but the dinner was amazing. There was such variety!! It was worth it!
Overall, I highly recommend coming here. Whatever your occasion is, this hotel has what you’re looking for. Also, plan not to leave the hotel during your stay, because it’s worth it!

Had an amazing stay here. Perfect for families with small kids. There are many fun activities for kids and the staff was so welcoming and courteous. They have Indian food section as well and Chef Rana made sure we have a scrumptious Indian dinner. Thank you Mr Rana for putting in extra effort for our comfort.

Had a great stay here. Excellent for families as there is much to do for the kids, and the swimming pool is one of the best around. There are tons of other activities for kids and the playroom and outdoor areas are both fun and safe! The food was quite good as well. The staff were also extremely helpful. Overall we had a great stay here and definitely will be coming back.

The whole environment is very family friendly and kids friendly. All the staffs are so professional and very nice and patient. The location might not be very convenient but I still think it’s worth the travel. I also try their Spa and would love to give a shout-out to my therapist Rayna Chiu. She was very gentle, professional and gave me one of the best facial massage experiences I’ve ever had in my lifetime. I highly recommend this resort and especially their Spa which is definitely underestimated.

Room is nice and bed is comfy. The heavenly SPA makes me feel like in the heaven truly. The therapist, A Lin and Jill, are really attentive with good skills. Though it’s a bit pricey, but it’s worthwhile. Would love to have another SPA therapy here again.

Friendly services and really relaxing environment. There are lots of bookings in summer time, so highly recommend to plan your stay in advance.

We have our 11month baby staying with us, and the housekeeping services are very nice and prepare crib and other infant accessories for us.

The cafeteria buffet is not as impressive though. Recommend to spend money at Chinese restaurant or other dining places than the buffet.

Kids club is very clean and nice. We love our stay the entire time.

Free juice& beer in the evening at the lounge.

I enjoyed my time at the Westin resort! The room was comfortable and the service was excellent all around. I also recommend the spa they have at Westin. Jill Wu, my therapist, did a really good job and I enjoyed the 1 hour session.

Came here for the wedding ceremony of my friend. It is remote but the location is tranquil and well organized. The hotel staff in the lobby are all very friendly and helpful. Foods are fine.

Wonderful resort tucked away in the mountains, Westin Tashee is next to the infamous golf course and is the perfect getaway from the cities. The rooms are well designed, beds, pillows and sheets are high quality and very comfortable.

Love the pools out door and also really enjoy the indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. My parents really enjoyed the live music at night with the happy hour. The resort has been upgrading their facilities with many more children-friendly games and fun stuff to do, including go carts, mini golf and basketball.

Breakfast was plentiful and dad loved the salad bar, food quality was better than most hotel buffets. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to go back again with family ❤

Went to the spa and got a great Swedish massage from Rayna.

During my recent exceptional two-night stay at the Westin Tashee in Taiwan, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the hotel staff members who assisted us throughout our visit. Despite having to reschedule our rooms and restaurant bookings multiple times, they were consistently available and helped ensure that everything was arranged smoothly.

From the moment we arrived and parked our car at the entrance for unloading, we received a warm welcome. The check-in process was seamless, and the clerk ( whom i did not get the name from ) was incredibly friendly and professional, providing me with all the necessary information.

I would like to give a special shout-out to Vincent Chang, who not only assisted me during the booking process but also throughout our stay and restaurant visits. One instance that stands out is when we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast this morning, only to find that there were no available tables despite our reservation. I was puzzled as to why we were asked to book a table in advance if no seats would be reserved. However, Vincent promptly appeared and efficiently coordinated with others to guide us to a table, which I believe may have been set aside for larger parties or special events. He personally visited us several times during breakfast, ensuring that we were well taken care of.

I genuinely believe that one of the key factors contributing to the Westin Tashee's success is the presence of employees like Vincent, who view their work as more than just a job. I could sense his genuine care for us and his commitment to providing the best possible experience. He went above and beyond to make sure that...

We stayed for 2 nights. Check in was smooth and the staff are excellent. Special thanks to MJ, front desk manager. He is able to arrange everything my family needed. This was the best Marriott hotel we stayed in Taiwan. Very kids friendly resort with many fun games to occupy their time. Room was super clean and bed are very comfortable. Dinner was great with many chef's special dishes. I will come back in the summer time to enjoy the outdoor pool next time.

Excellent hotel for all kinds of purposes. Especially true for kids. Great pool with a water slide and water hose. They also got basketball, mini golf, giant play house and a race track. Not to mention indoor kids club and sandlot. Furthermore, there’s an indoor pool with projector screen for viewing and cabanas alongside.

For golfers, there’s nothing better than waking up, get ready, head downstairs, grab a coffee from the members area, go to your car and grab the golf bag, then 1 min stroll to the clubhouse of one of the best courses Taiwan has to offer.

Food wise, I can only speak for the buffet and it’s good enough. Plenty of options to fill you up and the staff is attentive to your needs.

2021 Nov Update: resort itself is still awesome for kids and still very difficult to book. But the buffet, not sure what they did but it’s actually much better than before. It used to be typical resort buffet where steaks might be over or under booked and everything tasted blah. But now, you have quality varieties. From clams to prawns to perfectly made ribeyes to salad with real bacon bits. Looking forward to next visit…if fortunate enough to get rooms that is.

Nice resort to relax, unusual in Taiwan. Room is big and comfort. Great place for vacation. Service is really good. The staffs can remember your names, and quick service. Highly recommended hotel!

We went to Seasonal Tastes restaurant to have dinner, staff are friendly and warm.
Breakfast was plentiful and variety, food quality was better than other hotel buffets. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back again with family ❤
