Toyugi Hot Spring Resort & Spa (Journey to the East)

Lovely hot springs and a very comfortable hotel stay. A public springs, but the hotel provides entrance tickets. You just have to spend NT50 for a swim cap. We were there midweek and it was not very busy.

We only went for the hotspring and pool area (in summer). Great value, for 400 TWD you can stay and enjoy the different facilities as long as you like.

The different hot spring baths were great, the showers and the spa pools as well. We didn't try the saunas.

Be aware that you need a bathing cap (you can buy one for 50 TWD) and there is very limited information in English available.

The only thing we didn't get was that the main outdoor swimming pool only opens at 14:00 in summer and not earlier.

This is a fully developed hotspring. The facilities are far superior compare to the world class hotsprings which m wife and I had been. We were visiting the dongyouji resort for hotspring only.

We came here for two nights, the service was nice and detailed. We traveled with 5 months old, they prepared one baby bathtub and bed bumper for us. Especially mentioned the breakfast here is a must try.

The hotsprings are very good price-value, the views is so pretty, there are se outdoors pools as well as pools under a roof with many hydromassage functions, there's sauna as well. My advice is bring your own sandals and towel 👍

Arrived on a scooter from Taitung via Route 9. Easy to get to. Hotspring is big with a very generous outdoor spa pool that you can do lapses. the indoor spa pools, has the family fun part and the medical soak (with ginseng?). enjoyed it very much.

Large complex of pools with differents waters and heats. Under a good stand small bassins with treatment waters, bubbles pools and a sauna. Outside, you will find large pool splited in 3 parts : 1 hot (40°), 1 normal and a place with games for the kids. All 3 are 80cm deep. A last large pool to swim.
You can access the hotsprings by car or by bus (n°8129) from the Taitung bus station (40mins for 51TWD) and walk through the kitch park of Jhiben from the bus stop (700m) !
Take your own towel and buy a swimming cap (99TWN) before entering in (300TWD).
You will find the restaurant of the hôtel next door for the lunch (80 to 250 TWD) or snacks in.

I don't have a lot to compare it with since it's my first hot springs experience... however, they had a really nice selection of pools and the main "hot" spring was really great.

Awesome hot spring hotel with access too the pools only, it has two large outdoor pools (one heated and one cold) a sauna, footbath and 5 different heated pools inside, also sells foods and other small snacks and drinks, there is a shop on the way here on the side of the road that sells discounted tickets , so you can buy entrance tickets for about under two hundred Taiwan dollars

Rooms are spacey, hot spring facilities are quite nice. Food is great too. The only downside is the beds are too small and room could be cleaner. Customer service is great too

Peaceful and very scenic indoor and outdoor hot Springs with dedicated kids pool.

The huge facility houses all kinds of stuff like pools, sauna, hot springs, hydro massage baths and even a water park, which will keep you busy for the night.

Excellent resort 😊 like it very much. We stayed 2 nights. Wonderful location as well. Must stay longer to feel more relaxation . Recommend :-)

Very good place with fresh, natural and delicious food. The quality of the spa is excellent. Finally, the staff is very attentive and helpful. I'll be back.

Super nice outdoor hot springs with big swimming pool. Not very expensive. You will need swimming suits and swimming cap - even in the private room

Only here for the hot springs, which were 300 NTD entry. Overall well kept facilities and all of the pools you'd expect.

Although I adopt the hot spring, but spa facilities are really good. We stay for days and didn't wanna leave the pools
