“For the price paid, approx $NZ60/night it was amazing value for money. I was at a conference all day, and then we ate out at night meaning I only really needed a place to sleep. So it was perfect. Very happy. I also did not have breakfast there as I preferred to eat street food with the knowledge that the conference would cater very well for me. The bonus was the hotel was right next to a happening street where it reminded me of NZ on News Years eve, however, its just a normal weekday night in Xiamen.
The downside was I did not have an out facing window that face out. Instead the window faced a room with artificial light and plants. In the morning when I opened the curtains, it gave the illusion that it was morning sun, however, it is no substitute.
Other than that, by all means stay at the Xiamen Ibis”

it was a really nice hotel, i enjoyed my 3 day stay there. in the heart of the city, close to everything you need. the place google maps is showing is not right, but it cannot be fixed in that area. be careful if you are trying to find with google maps.

酒店地點好、出大門就是步行街，交通便利、吃東西也方便。住的是雙人房大床，房間格局有點怪，寢具好睡，整體來說還是挺好的

11/1入住飯店，外觀與照片一樣，只是飯店電梯壞了需要由貨梯上去，老舊到不行的電梯有點可怕，裡面都是木板拼貼上去，走進走廊也是有股潮濕味，飯店櫃檯算是飯店裡面最舒適的地方，房間冷氣都往頭吹，很容易頭痛，優點是一下樓就是中山路可以逛街，但店家基本上是晚上11點才會比較安靜一點，怕吵的話建議住別的地方

10/16倆老一起廈門漫遊去！
原訂兩晚，後因老先生腿腳不好再續住五晚。
前台服務很貼心♥
客房整床服務保潔員也很用心，只是客房價位一週前後差太多了！

櫃枱的服務是值得誇讚的團隊！

逛街方便的住宿地點

The good points of this hotel is location and staff service. Bathroom is smelly when I just step in the room as the ventilation fan was small power. After went to bed at night, the room temperature was getting higher and higher, checked the panel, room temperature was 28!!!! Called front desk, was told to turn off the air-con and will send an electric fan to room. The first time I need an electric fan in a hotel room. Next morning, went to front desk ask a room that has aircon, staff said it's auto to blow warm air in winter (14-24 degree that day). So I request for room change to a room that has window. Staff arranged 2 rooms inspection for me immediately and performed room change right after.
My conclusion is, must select a room with window (can open) if I select this hotel again. But, there are actually more better choices around that area.

This hotel is part of Ibis budget hotel chain, conveniently located at Zhongshan road, pedestrian walk of Xiamen. The hotel has two entrances because of the pedestrian walk - car can only access and drop off at the back entrance. Lobby floor is at level 2, ground floor is a small shopping mal. Exit from level 2 stair case will reach the front entrance of Zhongshan road pedestrian walk. There is not much space at lobby floor, lift is of limited capacity and dining place is small with few choices for breakfast. Hotel room is small but reasonable for budget hotel. Aircon does not work properly - table fan is provided :-). If you are travelling on budget and not looking for comfort environment, this hotel is fine. Otherwise, there are many other hotels nearby with comfortable room size and services.

Good location and easy access to shopping and food.

飯店大廳在二樓。電梯老舊超級慢。服務普通。很不老實的店。要去鼓浪嶼飯店推銷接送98。買了然後又說現在沒位置要等到四點才有船。穀浪嶼正常票35來回。所以飯店又推了個環島導覽。就真的車上環島導覽。下車的點都是要你另外花錢。搭帆船。購物城。大嶝購物。最後強硬要求司機載回碼頭要去穀浪嶼。發現根本沒買票。也聯絡不上人。不讀不回。回飯店要他退錢最後一人只退35人民幣。這趟一人138非常坑。穀浪嶼買票也不像司機跟飯店說的買不到。
都有票。只要帶好台胞證就能買。很方便。
